I really don't like the concept of similar pricing for all the products available on the rack( I found this thing more common in all the Indian Grocery store available in Munich)..For example if you go the Lentils section and check out the prices, you will be bit amazed to see all the varities (Moong, Channa Dhal etc..) are of the same price. In real case it is not so..i.e (Apples are not same as Pears ). Also when you get the bill you don't have the name of the item what you have purchased. It is mentioned as "Handelware" with 7% of tax to it. This makes you difficult to understand the cost of vegetables and other Groceries that you have bought. Don't buy Samosa over there...I bought two of those and one already got spoiled.. However it was told to us that it was fresh. Overall I had a bad experience buying over there and I have moved to online grocery store.
Well, I had horrible experience about this shop. First of all, there is this weird smell at the entrance. The time I stay in the shop, is the time of torture on my nose. Secondly, they keep a lot of expired goods along with the false sticker on the actual expire date. And when I asked them about the date of expire, their answer was even more blatant ! They told me, “ It is how it is , if you don’t want to buy then, it’s your choice”. I wonder how they are surviving in Munich city center with such attitude! Lastly, they deliberately miscalculate the price. Please, check your invoice before paying. My recommendation is not to go there. If you want asian spices and vegetables try other shops. No star is enough for this place.
Please ask for the bill and verify. There is lot of bill manipulation. Cons: -I took 5 items but the bill contains an extra item. -There was no item worth 3.60euro in my itenary but it was in the bill. (I guess it should be 2.99euro since I had 3 items worth 2.99euro) - highly over priced I did ask what is this ? He said he quoted less so added extra items in the bill. I did not liked this frauds. It was okay if you price more and take extra but it's not good to take extra on already priced item by faking the bill. Pros: Has good samosas
I received some positive feedback about this place earlier and went there to buy my stuffs. I never bothered to check the expiry date until recently when I found the taste to be really very weird. I checked the dates of the packed foods I bought, particularly packed noodles, and the dates were already expired (by 5 months when I bought it). As for the frozen fish, they were not clean, could find big scales still on it and half of the weight of what I bought had to be thrown away!
We simply love haat bazar, it is a part of our life in a sense we get everything that is indian stuff. Besides, the owner Masud bhaie is a genuine human being with whom we feel at home even though he is from Bangladesh. This is because we are from Bihar and it is socio-culturally similar to Bangladesh. I know Bangla language they speak. It is always a pleasure to visit this shop to buy vegetables we are grown up eating with.
I found this place good for indian groceries. You can find many groceries here like vegetables, lentils, rice, snacks, sweets, i dian coffee and tea powder, indian biscuit, some items regarding to festivals, basmati rice, frozen rotis, Paratha, samosa, set of pani puri and many more. Staff are very friendly and they will help you if you are not able to find any item. You can park in front of the store if place is available.
I often buy groceries from here, but today's experience was not as good as it used to be. First, he forgot to handover a packet. Usually they pack all the stuff and then hanover to the customer. But this time he forgot so I went again ask for packet. Second, there is a sudden increase in all lentils and rice compared to last 2 days. The good thing is that he gave 2 samosa.
Seems to be run by Bangladeshis who don't like Indians. I could hear clearly 2 times when they were bad mouthing India. They may have their views, but they could at least keep them to themselves when they are doing business which largely caters Indian population. As for the items and groceries in market, they are good and mostly fresh. The prices are reasonable too.
One of the few Indian Stores here in Munich to get most of your Indian groceries, vegetables and other essentials. The staff are ready to help you with anything that you need. There is also Kohinoor which is just next to this shop, both serve the same purpose. Hat bazaar is just a bit smaller and congested compared to its neighbor.
1. Least bother to behave properly with customers. 2. Very deceitful. Sells expired stuffs. 3. Put stickers on expired stuffs. What seems as selling expired stuffs intentionally. 4. Be careful while paying and receiving the exchange. 5. Raw products are mostly substandard. I would say to keep it to be the last option.
A haven of nice authentic ingredients in the city center, close to the main train station. I bought things such as Ghee, Hing, and the large packages of whole spices I have become used to not finding in other German grocery stores. I think the selection is a bit better than the bazaar right across the street as well.
Vegetables are good and fresh... This is the best thing. And all the stuff is there in front of you no one gets special treatment which is good and professional...I like the samosas and gulab jamun :-) He has variety of fishes but less of salt water and more of fresh water Rest is standard... Worth visiting
Fairly good selection of indian spices and groceries.Vegetables are usually fresh here compared to other stores. Samosa, vadai, etc are available daily and it's definitely worth grabbing one while you're there. However the billing isn't transparent nor clear - a big reason not to visit the establishment.
Great variety of vegetables and fruits. A lot of indigenous varieties available from india. Also many options for lentils, pulses, masalas, snacks and condiments. Major difference from other indian stores is the availability of plenty of vegetables from India. Amla, banana flower, root vegetables etc
Guys...do really check the validity of every Food or anything you buy ... I 'm one of the Victims . The Owner as well as the Workers are also absolutely not friendly .... I swear, I won't really recommend anyone to be this Shop's Customer !!! Beware of these Thugs ....Saawdhaan !!!
It's a small store where you find all the things special to desi people i.e. India Pakistan and bangali things... Verity of vegetables and fish is also available... They mostly accept cash.... But if you're buying more than 20 euro there is a choice to pay by credit or debit card.
Charged 4 euro for ready to cook MTR rice items. It is actually under 2 euro at other indian store. on top of that i got one which is expired. Do check for manufacture and expiry dates here. They dump all the old stock and charge heavy price. I am never going to visit here again.
The mutton is worst among all available in Indian shops. The rice that I bought (India gate) is packed on 2015! Best before 2 years after production date and they are selling it after almost 6 years. Horrible.... No check on stock...no stock control based on expired products.
Really bad experiences with one employee at billing. He was rubbing some powder on his teeth while billing and handling vegetables on the counter with bare hands. When pointed out, gets deffensive and then gets agressive saying he does not have Corona. Utterly disturbing.
Der Anspruch des Ladenbesitzers: You name it ill have it hat bisher bei mir gut geklappt. TILDA Reis.
Visit here to eat sweets with fungus and are rotten. They live in the pre industrial era and don't know the concept of refrigeration. I wanted to call "food inspector" on them but who am I to police them. I'll just leave their store and visit others.
Finally found a Bengali store. You will find toast, Muri, all kinds of spices, some fishes, frozen Porota, kababs, halal items and many more. Indian items are also available in the store. They sell "Singara" which is a must try in my opinion.
All necessary items are available but check expiry date before you purchase. Once I brought pickle which was expired fortunately I didn't open the seal so they returned. Once my friend brought wheat flour which was also expired.
Probably the largest stocked store in Munich for Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and general Asian food items. Very economic. I was surprised that we get high quality and fresh Indian vegetables. The store has very good service.
Make sure to verify the bill before leaving, they sometimes make mistakes with the bills. And also check the expiry date, I bought a chili sauce only to realize that it's expired 2 months ago when I wanted to use it.
They charged more than labeled price on item, when I pointed out this guy answered its wrong price label disappointed with such business attitude, also I notice spices price were higher compare to other shops.
It's a good Bangladeshi shop. Different sorts of vegetables, groceries, spices, snack items, etc. are available for Bangladeshi/Indian cuisine. They also have Bangladeshi fish. Also try their Samosa/Shingara.
Not very big but quite reasonable number of variety and quite normal price. Better than other Indian grocery stores in terms of price. If stock is available then better to buy from here than elsewhere.
Most of the products are out of date ...please see carefully before buy especially defrost items...care full about the billings....he calculate any how ...totally not satisfied with this shop.... (:
One of the Asian shops (Bangladeshi) in Munich. They have more sofisticated and sometime fresh vegetables than back in India. Loved to see all hose vegetables in the picture in one day.
Schaut mein comic book. the kiss of redwoman. auf youTube
Very costly and cheap quality product. Sometimes you find same product like LIDL with price 10 times more. Few products looks like out dated but they still keep it for sell.
I've been searching for Mustard oil, Kewra water and Radhuni spices for so long! Finally found them all here. Also the shopkeeper was a friendly Bangladeshi guy. …
Very rough behaviour. All the products are comparatively high price. The owner of the shop even do not know how to treat his clients. I would not recommend to go there.
Small shop packed with all kinds of Indian / Pakistani food and some other items. If you're looking for genuine sweets and snacks, you should have a look in here.
Good variety. Can get almost anything for Indian/Pakistani cuisine. Quality brands, too. They even have some cooking utensils. Place is really, really congested.
Pls count the change they give back. It has happened more than 3 times to me that they gave less change back. In future, will never buy from Hat Bazar anymore.
Decent Indian store run by a Bangladeshi national. You can find nearly all types of Indian /South Asian groceries here. It's also reasonably priced.
I loved the place. The person gave me a snack for free yesterday. I'm very happy. It never happened to me before. I prefer it over Kohinoor store.
Has much better vegetable varieties. Just check the bill for higher prices and items you did not take. But very fresh veggetables. You can enjoy.
The Indian veggies were good and fresh for a small shop. Didn't explore everything but hopefully you get everything you need for Indian kitchen.
Comparitively cheaper than Kohinoor. Service is OK. But still there are shops cheaper than this like bollwood store and IndianGrocery store.
One can find a variety of Indian groceries with lots of leafy vegetables. The place is little cosy. During weekends it Will be overcrowded.
Top selection of fresh fruits, herbs and vegetables. Small but will fulfill any wish you have. One of my new favorite shops in Munich.
Its so costly. Price Tag do not follow properly sometimes. But Good thing, many Bangladeshi items are available that are impressive.
No price tags for vegetables and many other items. They charge whatever they want, mostly very expensive. Last option to visit !!!
You will get necessary indian stuffs but prices are quite too high. Moreover none of the Indian shops have proper billing system.
It's a better shop compared to other Indian grocery but not all products are good some are expired so take care of that
No relation between price tag and actual price. Even weighing machine was not working..he tapped to make it work …
Immer wieder gern.
Fresh Indian vegetables compared to similar others. Extremely small shop, could easily get congested with 4-5 people.
Over Priced, Sometimes they even puts sticker on top of actual expiry dates. I prefer this shop as my last option.
Incorrect billing and no mention of itemized items. Realized that I am charged 30% more than I actually paid.
They change label on products & selling expired product. Many people in Munich found worms in wheat flour.
Giod indian grocry..every aisan spices pls lentils plus pickels ,tea, suger oil every thing is available..
Small and narrow shop but all your Indian groceries are available.. they even sell samosa and hot jellapi
Place is good and cheap. It's just that sometimes the samosas are from previous days and taste spoiled.
Best shop in Munich for Bengali stuffs , whether it is vegetables , shak , ilish Mach , MISTI..........
Asian food shop pakistani Indian cuisine fresh vegetables and fruits also available and kind people
This is a bangladeshi supermarket in Munich, near KarlzPlatz station.Great little shop for Asians.
Good store for buying Indian Goods. You get all cereals, vegetables, fruits, masala and pickles.
Best Bengali store to buy Pakistani and Indian spices. You get everything thing from your home.
Super süßer Laden. Ich konnte alles finden. Die Verkäufer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit
I always go there for shopping. I can buy Bangladeshi products from here which I like most.
Good store to buy Bangladeshi vegetables, spices and also its possible to buy snacks here.
Good place to buy Indian products. Cheaper than every Indian shop available in Munich
All the Indian groceries are available here. Do not forget to check the expiry date.
Wonderful owner, always greets when entering..has a homely feeling so far from home.
You get most of the Asian spices at reasonable prices. Must have are the samosas :)
No fresh items available, stale and expired food with new stickers on sale. Pathetic
Good place to get Bengali spices, fish, green vegetables, lentil and other things.
You won't see the price tags on most of the products but prices are reasonable
Its good to find indian groceries.but the samosa here are overpriced …
Plenty of South-asian and Indian/pakistani food ingredients are available.
Best place along with Kohinoor for getting Indian/Pakistani cuisine stuff
Highly not recommended.. He try to overcharge for certain items in bill.
Has almost everything one can want from an Indian/Pakistani supermarket.
Best Bangladeshi/Indian Grocery Stores in Munich. Highly recommended :)
Very small shop but heaven of southasian goods at an economical rate.
A bit of confusing but the prices, options and service is 5 stars!
Worse service, the guys shouting at me when I asked the price
A little cramped but you'll find almost every desi essentials
Good indian shop with lots of options specially for bengali.
Wenn man in München frische Curryblätter braucht. Hierher.
Okay we get basic asian stuff... price are reasonable

Breites Sortiment und freundlicher Service
