First and foremost, I never post on google reviews but after the experience that I had today 1/4/2022, I feel that I should warn others about the lack of care, customer service and all-around unprofessionalism that I received. I called on Monday to book an appointment with my primary physician for a rapid covid test and was told by staff that it wouldn't be an issue. They stated they had plenty of rapid tests available and were not running out of them anytime soon. I then double checked that it would not be an issue getting a rapid test done and the staff member reassured me that I had nothing to worry about. She scheduled a virtual visit with Dr. Priya Indira and told me that as soon as my virtual visit was over someone would come out to my vehicle and perform the rapid test on me. I drove 45 minutes to get there in time and was told by Dr. Priya that they would not perform any covid testing on me and that they were saving their tests for patients who "really" needed the tests. I was showing symptoms but since I am not over the age of 65 and do not have any underlying health conditions, she told me to just get some rest and quarantine. Once I expressed how unhappy I was, Dr. Indira said that she would have the office manager call me. As I waited outside for 15 minutes, I finally received a call from the office manager. I didn't get her name but all I can say is that this lady is the main reason I'm writing this review. She told me they didn't have any testing kits available for rapid or PCR which is a lie because Dr. Indira told me they were saving them for patients who really need them. Once I exposed her lying, she then started to back track (literally stuttering) and was coming up with other excuses of how all the tests completed right now comes from the "higher ups" in the company. I gave them an opportunity to make it right and informed the office manager that myself and my wife will no longer be using them as our primary care physicians. I plan on taking this complaint all the way up the chain of command. If anyone besides the office manager (who stated that nobody is her boss at the Bandera location and that she oversees all admin as well as day to day operations) is reading this, please feel free to reach out. I was able to wait in line 4 hours at a random drive thru covid testing site after this scheduled appointment and get tested, and unfortunately it turns out I am covid positive. It is sad that I had to find out from a drive thru site rather than my so-called primary care physician. Hope everyone there at Health Texas Medical Group has a wonderful New Year and let me leave this message with a motto. "Outstanding Service, Every Patient, Every Time", maybe reading that out loud will help you guys remember your core values. Leo

Went here this morning after making appointment over the phone for a my husbands back injury through workers comp. The CNA that came in stated that “Our clinic dosen’t see workers comp cases” This clinic should have let me know over the phone when I scheduled the appointment. (When I clearly stated over the phone he was under workers comp). Instead, we wasted our time coming all the way out here to the appointment. Office manager couldn’t even come in to explain anything. They sent the CNA to explain things instead. Unprofessional!! Will never come back to this location again.

Ok the doctors here seemed nice enough. However when you change health insurance from United to Cigna they just dump you. I could not get prescriptions pre-authorized to the new insurance so pharmacy would not fill it. I asked them nicely to please just go to the Cigna website and fill out the authorization. They flat out refused to do that. I found a new provider but new patient wait is 2months. HealthTexas basically dumped me as their primary care and refused to help. This is very unprofessional. I can’t recommend this Dr office as a primary care physician.

I went to the Doctor’s office because I hurt my knee. I was told that I would have to see an Orthopedic doctor. I was told it would take 7 to 14 days before I could get a referral. I find this unacceptable. I am in pain now. Seems to me that they should provide better service. When I voiced my displeasure I was told that maybe I should look into PPO plan. How about I keep my plan and just get better service.

This office is outstanding. Dr Quinones and the entire staff work together to create a complete healthcare experience. Everyone in the office is friendly and ready to help. The rooms are clean, wait times are kept to a minimum, and all equipment is in good working order. Appointments are easy to schedule and the HEALOW app is getting easier to navigate. I couldn’t be more pleased with HealthTexas.

First of all being a Registered Nurse and understanding how to treat a patient the staff here are rude at this location and do not seem knowledgeable and professional. Don’t come here to this location and do yourself a favor and go to wurzbach location and dr Timothy Kosmatka and I would have seen him but there is a wait.

Dr. Quiñones is the best Doctor in Texas, he saw my husband as a new patient and Dr. Quiñones was very caring, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. The staff at this location are friendly and courteous even though with their busy schedule they take their time for you. Thank you Health Texas.

Dr. Indira was kind, knowledgeable and caring. Will keep coming back to see her. Not a full 5 stars because the staff is not on top of it. Forgot about me when the doc asked for lab work and forgot to cancel my Appointment last time when the doc had to cancel because she was sick.

Staff very friendly and helpful. This was the first time i have been in this office and the staff introduced themselves to me. The doctor was very knowledgeable and friendly. Felt very comfortable with Dr. Q.

My spouse and mother-in-law love love love this office. The providers are very compassionate and the support staff are wonderful. We really appreciate you taking care of the family's healthcare concerns.

If you need something done then talk to PA benito enriquez, he is the best I been with this clinic over three years always check in on time no long wait doke all my lab and treatment there.

First time at this location. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I saw Sonia Villarreal and she was amazing. Nurses and staff are outstanding as well. Love Health Texas

Health Texas is the most amazing medical provider. Dr. Qinones' office has an incredible staff. Always efficient, friendly, knowledgeable. First rate office.

Dr Quinones and all of his staff are very attentive and knowledgeable. He listens to everything you have to say. Hands down the best Dr I’ve ever had.

Doctors are very nice but the phone system is awful. Every time I call it's so hard getting a REAL person on the line. Please answer your phone
