I did not have a good experience with dr. Banu Sharma, unfortunately. After repairing one visible cavity, the tooth was still bothering me. She did not do X rays and said the tooth was alive and that's why I can feel it. Later I asked for another appointment but with dr. Neil Pande. The secretary made the appointment. Before going there, I asked if the appointment was with dr. Neil. The secretary said - No, it's with dr. Banu(!!). I could not believe it! I asked again for a new appointment with dr. Neil but when I got there the dentists were not allowed to drill (covid). He did the X rays and a huge cavity was revealed. As he could not do anything about it at the moment, I finished with the root canal treatment later - "thanks" to Banu Sharma. So now I have a dead tooth that still releases some bacteria as the root canal treatment is not a proper solution even though is widely used by dentists. The best solution for a huge cavity is to remove the tooth under special conditions as holistic dentists in some countries do. There are no good dentists in KTM in my experience. In case of emergency, I would try dr. Neil. Manu also switched on some relaxing music saying - You apparently need it. - I think I did not need it but she apparently needed it as she was quite restless all the time while repairing my tooth - singing, talking to me about other patients,....

I developed a lot of tooth pain in a molar, and my guesthouse recommended this dental clinic. I was a little uneasy as I had no reference of quality of dental care in Nepal, plus I am an extremely nervous patient. I was absolutely thrilled with the treatment I received from Dr Arina and her hygienist. First she gave me a thorough check-up, then took an xray to reveal a chipped tooth with infection below an old filling. She said that if it spread to the nerve she would recommend a root canal. However, after (totally painless) local anasthetic all she needed to do was remove the old filling and put in a new one. The whole procedure was done with such care and kindness, explaining what she was doing at every step. The whole procedure - check-up, xray and filling cost $55 US dollars. I then came up to Kopan monastery to visit friends, and a German nun and a US monk both told me that Happy Smiles have been their dentists for years since they have such excellent service. 100% recommended

Had rct treatment and it’s infected again , spent like 30k to 35k for the whole rct and teeth and now I’ve to deal with the infection again. Went there when it was painful they rejected me saying I had fever of 101 which I understand but right after I left the clinic went to the pharmacy my temperature was normal. Receptionist or whoever the lady was mannerless and rude. We had some verbal argument as she was telling me if I could read the sign outside saying check the temperature but it was hidden behind hand sanitizer. Whose fault is that??? Think she wasn’t the regular receptionist who is usually nice. During the rct process tip of the file was broken and it got stuck in my teeth , idk maybe this is the culprit. Anyways it’s infected again I’m disappointed with healthy smiles... that’s my opinion

After visiting several dentists in Kathmandu for consultations, I decided to proceed with Healthy Smiles, and thankfully, I made the right choice. I saw Dr Rajeena, who immediately put me at ease. Having been scared of dentists all my life, at last I have found one who I feel comfortable having rooting around in my mouth. People don't believe it here in France when I tell them that I have a dentist in Nepal, yet he is by far the best I have come across anywhere. He did a superb implant for me recently (with absolutely no pain) and he has make a world of difference in encouraging me to take far more care of cleaning my teeth. I might live in France now, but he is still my dentist. He has state of the art equipment that most dentists don't have even here or the UK.

I was descending from a trek in Gosaikunda when I started to get a severe tooth ache. I stopped by the Healthy Smiles clinic when I made it back to Kathmandu. I ended up needing a root canal and Dr Luna Shrestha and her team were fantastic! Really appreciate her expertise and willingness to walk me through everything that was happening. It was always clear that she had my best interests at heart. The entire team at Healthy Smiles are top notch professionals and I'd recommend them to anyone in Kathmandu in need of dental work!

In 2019 vacation when I travel Nepal , I had 1tooth damage in color .. Dr Luna suggest me to remove that tooth & put Maryland bridge .Rather than fixing that tooth , they keep on insist me to do cleaning , remove other tooth .. then finally she did Maryland bridge …. & funny thing is that it didn’t last even 2 months & even they couldn’t match the color of my tooth …Later on I got other tooth also infection coz of that Maryland bridge … just wastage of around 50 thousand money and time for every appointment …

I was having trouble with my dental crown for a while as it would keep coming off every few months. I finally went in to see Dr. Rajeena Pradhan at Healthy Smiles and that was the best decision I ever made. They did an amazing job because since then it has not come off and I have had absolutely no trouble with it all all. Everyone at Healthy Smiles were super friendly and very helpful. I got my Upper Wisdom Tooth extracted here by Dr. Sabin Giri and the experience was painless. He was very patient & jolly throughout the process making me comfortable and less anxious. The staff are also very professional and even called me to inform they were running a bit late on their end so I could come for my appointment accordingly. I understand it's a bit on the "expensive" end but I would say it was worth it.

I went to Healthy Smiles after experiencing tooth pain. I highly recommend Dr. Bani Sharma. Being that I’m a foreigner and not with a dentist back home, her nature put me at ease. She was incredibly smart, worked with me to create a solution that helped me, and their X-ray technology is better than the other clinic I visited in town. Amazing service. I came here several times to receive 2 cleans, an x-ray and 1 filling. The dentist was so careful and kind, always asking if I was ok. The clinic is very clean with modern facilities and a great price. It's also very simple to make an appointment, just call the clinic and the friendly staff will help you. They take credit card payments as well.

I have been going to Healthy smiles for going on 20 years now. I find their services to be excellent in all respects. I go to them for all dental services. This year, I’m thinking of getting some dental implants done. They are a bit on the expensive side, but they are worth every rupee! I would recommend them and I have many times, to anybody and everybody!
