I purchased a 30-minute flight around McLaren Vale as a surprise gift for my husband’s 40th well in advance of his big day. As we planned to stay a couple of nights in McLaren to celebrate the occasion he had no idea that this was part of the plan. Our flying date was September 3rd, and I was very excited when I saw that a sunny and warm day was forecasted. In my enthusiasm, I failed to take notice of a very important factor: the wind conditions, which surely put a damper on the celebration. Unfortunately, the day ended up being too windy to fly. Mel Ling and Paul were super responsive and accommodating and they offer to take us for a ride the next morning, while we were still in McLaren. Unluckily, the next day presented even worst conditions so went home without what was going to be the highlight of the trip. Since then we had to re-scheduled our flight two more times: one due to bad weather and the second one thanks to Covid isolation. Mel Ling was very patient and flexible throughout the bookings. We communicated by email and text and she was always quick to respond. We finally managed to take our flight yesterday and we couldn’t ask for a better day. Paul and Mel Ling gave us a fantastic and very memorable afternoon. We were extremely lucky with the weather and the whole experience was professional and very pleasurable from start to finish. Paul, our pilot was very experienced and the flight was exciting and informative, with lovely clear views over the wineries and the southern coastline. The views are spectacular and the sensation of 'floating' through the air is exhilarating. We felt very safe throughout the flight and both the landing and take-off were super smooth. This was our first ever helicopter flight and loved it. My husband is still raving about the helicopter ride and will always remember this experience. I couldn’t recommend this tour any higher, and we can’t wait to be back to explore another region of our beautiful South Australia! Thank you Helivista! :)

Mark and I had the best day to celebrate his birthday. With two scenic flights, an ancient soils tasting with Michelle at Shottesbrooke Winery. Which was very interesting and informative especially when combined with Paul's knowledge and points of interest throughout the flight around McLaren Vale and the Cliffs of Willunga. Then enjoying a five star lunch at The Current Shed ( we have since recommended it as a place to go all our friends) followed by a flight to our accommodation at Nest and Nature Inman Valley. What a treat to land just in front of our Eco Structure at our final destination. Thank you Mei Ling and Paul for making it truly enjoyable and memorable experience. What an amazing experience! We were met by Paul and Mei Ling, who were absolutely lovely, and so helpful and knowledgeable. We did a 30min flight leaving from McLaren Vale, and while we had the option of choosing where we flew/what we saw, we went with Paul's local knowledge and recommendations. He flew us over some of our favourite wineries, along Onkaparinga gorge, and out to the coast, where we had amazing views all the way to Port Willunga. We then returned via Selleck and over Willunga. The whole experience was seamlessly organised and booked, we felt so safe and were in very good hands. We live in Adelaide, and can't believe we haven't done this before - it was incredible to see our home from above! We highly recommend this to anyone, from locals to visitors!

For Valentines Day my partner wanted to surprise me with something different and extra special. He contacted Helivista and spoke to Mei who suggested a flight and lunch. It began with tastings at Penny’s Hill Winery where we chose a bottle of wine to take with us on the flight. We picked up lunch from The Currant Shed Restaurant and landed on a beautiful hill where there was a table set up for us to enjoy our cheese board, main course and dessert. The views during the flight were stunning and the service we received from Mei and Paul was exceptional, they were both thoughtful enough to take photos for us throughout the day so we truly got to enjoy our time together. The whole day was amazing, I highly recommend a Helivista experience!

The perfect addition to, and highlight of, our birthday lunch in McLaren Vale. A Birthday gift for my wife was a 30 minute flight around McLaren Vale and the surrounding area of the Fleurieu peninsula, taking us along the fantastic coastline. Paul and Sam were our guides with Paul piloting the helicopter. The trip was amazing and a fantastic way to see the area In which we live . With a great knowledge of the area Paul gave us a commentary on many of the landmarks along the way . The team were very friendly and welcoming with a good sense of humour. I would recommend Helivista to everyone. Go out and see the Fleurieu from a different perspective. Whether you are a local or visitor.

I recently used Helivista as part of my proposal. Mei Ling was great from start to finish, helping me organise all the finer details, as I was travelling from interstate. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't favorable at our scheduled flight time, however, the team at Helivista swiftly re-planned the day, including the proposal destination, and it all fell into place. Took my now fiancée Yuliya on a heli-swag adventure for a surprise proposal complete with our own fabulous chef Todd who cooked up an incredible feast! Paul and Mei Ling were outstanding. My partner surprised me with a 30 minute flight for my birthday and what a gift! The pilot flew us around the McLaren Vale and coast around the Moana beach area, before landing at one of the local wineries for a late lunch (Chalk Hill Collective). It was an absolutely incredible flight, with some of the most beautiful views of the region. The company was fantastic to deal with, even when we had to reschedule the flight twice due to lockdowns and bad weather. Loved our flight with Paul. First time for my husband and myself in a helicopter. The experience was amazing. We had the perfect weather and could see every thing so clearly. Could even see Kangaroo Island and we circled a pod of Dolphins. Paul was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about McLaren Vale and surrounding areas. Paul and Mei Ling gave us the most incredible experience on our honeymoon. It was a really cool that were picked up from our accomodation and flown around McLaren Vale before being dropped off for a wine tasting and lunch. Paul was a great guy and a really good tour guide.
