"This bridge is long wide and fast"
"I love to read these comments"
"my friends once told me this is grandmas bridge so i don’t know who this henry h is but he’s dumb"
"This bridge is a giant pain"
"Don't go below the speed limit, use your blinker when changing lanes well before you change lanes to be sure that others see you"
This bridge is long wide and fast. Plenty of room for a quick run up too 100mph or a nice video fly by. Really good site lines and best if all, most of the slow, bad and just plain in the way drivers stay out of the left 2 lanes. If you get the chance make run during early hours of the day.
I love to read these comments. This is a nice bridge despite some of the comments you may see. There is no passing on the bridge and if drivers would abide by the rules and speed limit it's a perfectly safe bridge. And if it's too slow for you get up earlier or go North around town!
my friends once told me this is grandmas bridge so i don’t know who this henry h is but he’s dumb. anyways really long and only two lanes. for its length they should add a loopy thing from the coasters. it also has a water airport near it so it gets a star for that
This bridge is a giant pain. Traffic either flies way too fast or is dead stopped. Needs more lanes or dedicated lanes. Seen way too many accidents and fatalities yet DOT states it's a safe bridge. The concrete wall doesn't even come up to
Don't go below the speed limit, use your blinker when changing lanes well before you change lanes to be sure that others see you. If you can't or they won't let you in, too bad as they- not you- have the right-of-way. Even if it means you
Long long bridge, four lanes on either side. Everyone drives a minimum of 25 mph over the speed limit unless the sheriff cars are out. Additionally, lane changes are generally reckless and without any signals. At least once a year someone
The most dangerous bridge in the city. So many deaths from falling off the side, broken down vehicles dont have nearly enough space to safely try to repair let alone exit the vehicle with hundreds of people flying a foot or so away at 80+
Buckle up on the Buckman! You have four lanes in each direction on a three mile span across the St. John’s River. Technically, two spans as each side is independent. The speed limit was recently reduced to 55 mph but most vehicles do not
High quality you know? I thought i was going to die on it or something but apparnelty not. WOOWOWOWOW. That is JUSt AMAZING. NO, im just kidding. This bridge took like 9 days to get over and i thought i was gonna die. VEry poor. Dont go
The bridge itself is disgustingly dirty. What an example we show anyone traveling through our town. Both sides are filthy. Not just on the bridge but the entrances on the grassy area to the bridge. What can we do to get this cleaned up
Fantastic bridge over the majestic St Johns River. Traffic is horrendous weekday mornings and evenings and too many stupid people causing accidents and cutting people off and no signal even cops don’t signal. It’s Florida nuff said..
4/24/2021 Thanks to the person that called the state troopers when my car broke down on the very left lane. THANKS to the 2 State Troopers that showed up in no time and helped me out get to safe spot. big respect to you all …
The Horizons a Super Therapeutic. It like being closer too God the sky feels so close. This bridge is long and amazing you can see the city and other beautiful waterfront homes. I love ❤ commuting on this bridge everyday.
This is a very scary bridge. People have lost their lives on this bridge for various reasons. Most people drive like idiots on it. I get anxious everytime I have to go over it and hope I get to the other side.
If anyone remembers the Buckman Bridge before it was four lanes on each side this bridge is spectacular and so awesome compared to the old bridge where there was wrecked every day.
This bridge is a traffic nightmare for most people here in Jacksonville. The view from it is beautiful but people look at the view and crash their vehicles daily.
It's the only bridge from the West area into Jacksonville. It usually completely sucks, but Monday afternoon on January 29th, the clouds made it a perfect drive.
Necessary evil with beautiful views. You will have plenty of time to watch due to the idiotic amount of traffic and bad drivers causing unnecessary congestion.
This route has tolls if you are not prepared to receive a letter with a fee despite the $0 posted on toll signs I suggest going a different route.
It's a bridge. I drive over it and it doesn't fall. I'd award more stars, but lots of other drivers try to use this bridge at the same time I do.
Driving over the Buckman Bridge is a pretty nice ride, I’ve never been caught up in traffic and it’s a very quick way to get to Orange Park.
It is part of I 95. When I went over it the traffic wasn't bad but this can be a very dangerous place with heavy traffic and crazy drivers.
If you have any fear of heights, do not go over this bridge. I did yesterday and it almost scared me to death. I will never do it again.
google is responsible for all accidents that happen daily on this bridge, the maximum speed allowed is 55MPH and google maintains 65MPH
This bridge is really nice. Except, it feels like I horseback riding due to the way it dips up and down throughout the entire bridge.
It's a bridge... A way to get over the water. So as far as that goes.. it's great. Driving over it at peak hours..different story.
Always some idiot speeding at 100mph & weaving. It's a mystery why there is always gridlock 24x7 due to crashes. …
Better now since they built the express lane toll lane. Most of the traffic experienced here are from accidents.
One of the longest bridges I've ever seen in my life ever 3 miles beautiful scenery in the st. Johns River
Scenic bridge....if you are a tourist. Beautiful views of the city and at times, the sky as well. :-)
The worst. There’s always a crash or someone camping in the left lane preventing others from passing.
If you are here long enough for it to be a visit the traffic is horrible but the view can be great.
It's a bridge, you drive over it. Sometimes its busy depending on the time if day & the holiday.
Smooth sailing ⛵️ today on Buckman no stop and go. I wish it was like this all the time …
Dangerous, deadly even. Not enough State Troops around to dissuade the speeders and weavers.
You can get across it most times. There are accidents that occurred there stopping traffic.
I'm not sure why I'm rating a bridge but I've never had a problem with the Buckman Bridge.
We get beautiful sunrise and sunset… and the way to connect I295 with I95 (South & North)
The worst! People need to learn how to drive when they're on this bridge & pay attention!
This bridge has come a long way since I was a kid. Still scary in bad weather though
It's part of my daily commute so you begin to love the view at sunrise and sunset.
Make sure u are driving very careful on this bridge because others dont
Spectacular open view, you can see all the way downtown over the water.
The trash on each side of the bridge makes Jax look as bad as Philly.
Worst bridge ever! Im terrified everytime i drive over it.
The bridge is 3 miles long. It's a really neat bridge!!
Awesome view but always pay attention to the road!!!
Most likely the top worst bridges in Florida
Very scenic and loovely
