This guy is a con man. The quoted price for any given item seems to be based purely on whim, and he is obviously more interested in making as much on a sale as possible rather than developing a clientele. I could be an on-going customer, but his price-gouging and dishonesty have convinced me that it is not worth doing business with him. Of note: I bought Item A for a certain price ($125) and went back to by a matching item (B) and he told me (clearly not remembering who I was) that he had sold Item A for $250 and asked the same for Item B. The man is digging his own business-community grave. Maybe he is not interested in retail-level business; regardless, I have trouble imagining anyone engaging with anyone so dishonest.
One of the worst antique shops I have ever been to. The staff never asked if I needed help and barely acknowledged me. One worker followed me around for 15 minutes pretending to look at things behind me in the store, literally following step for step, it was very strange. There's lot's here, but I feel that, unless you walk in pretending that you want to buy half the store, you're treated as a hindrance.
Ray was very friendly and I got a really cool floor candle holder at a good price. I usually don't like old, second hand items because of energy, but as I got home, and gave it a wash, I was pleasantly surprised that there was no dirt coming off, meaning Ray must of washed it very well before putting it up for sale, which I really appreciate.
Certainly the worst store I have ever visited. Nothing has a price. When I asked for prices I got the feeling different customers would be charged differing amounts based on what the owner though you would pay. Everything in the store is ridiculously overpriced. Try Ebay or a different store instead. Absolute rip-off and rude staff.
Shop around before paying his stoooopid prices...He gouges and will change the price based on your desire to buy it ....it always goes up. Tuesday it was $55 but on thursday had a price increase for a used part.... sleezy
Five doors! Five problems! No contract! Very unprofessional business wise. Labour price for installation was outrageous! Problems were all blamed on supplier! Would be a zero star if permitted! How do you say Shister?
Great selection of antique doors, knobs, hinges, candlesticks, and miscellaneous other supplies Found exactly what I needed today (which I could not find at about 4+ other places previously). Will be back for certain
Such a cool place if you are into finding rare pieces. Very friendly and lovely owner too who was helpful. Stumbled upon a Cartier 21 chronograph in a draw, definitely worth visiting :)
Very over priced for mostly fake merchandise. Bought an item and after I found out its newly made but only looks antique, they did accept my return. Be careful. Scam alert.
Ray is a great person to deal with. Extremely knowledgable about the industry and has amazing advice. Worked great supplying me custom items on my last couple projects.
Lost of antique choices but way way overpriced
