I am very disappointed in the way this business is ran. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter on a Monday morning for the next available day they had, which was Tuesday mid afternoon. Tuesday morning my husbands vehicle would not start. I called as soon as I knew he was going to be taking my vehicle to work (around 8:30 am) to let the office know we wouldn’t be able to make it. The manager had picked up the phone (I didn’t know who I was speaking to) and she let me know that there would be a charge of 25 dollars for not canceling 24 hrs in advance. I was absolutely blown away. She began to let me know that she would have to ask the dr about waiving a charge due to a one time courtesy charge being waived back in 2021. They waived the charge due to new ownership. Fast forward I scheduled with them again for Friday that same week in full hopes the vehicle would be out of the shop. Unfortunately Thursday evening at 4 pm we find out there is yet another problem the mechanic can’t figure out and we will not have our vehicle back tomorrow. I directly called the office and let them know. They informed me that because I’m not calling (exactly) 24 hrs in advance the charge will be required, and since they waived it last time. I understand cancellation policies and their purpose but in a situation that is out of a customer’s control, I can not even begin to find this acceptable. Money hungry is all I hear.

Today i went to Heritage Trace Dental for an appointment and I was greeted by a woman named Ally at the front desk who was extremely rude. I have been here multiple times but this was my first time seeing her there and being treated like this. She was obviously not in a good mood and it showed by the way she spoke to me. As I was talking to her she gave me a lot of attitude and even raised her voice at me which left me and the other ladies at the front desk shocked. I was very offended and she did not apologize. It was the worst service I have ever had there. I get that people can have bad days but there is absolutely no reason to project your negative feelings onto your customers. The whole time she was just very rude and I left feeling incredibly disrespected. Hopefully Heritage Trace Dental Can do better and hire other people who will treat their customers with respect and will have a positive attitude instead of yelling at them in front of the whole lobby.

I don’t even know where to start, this is by far the BEST dental office I have ever experienced! Having 3 kids it’s difficult to have dental work done, each one is so different on how they deal with the procedures. I was nervous for my 7 year old who has never had a cavity and welp wound up with 6 this time. Yikes! I can not even tell you how wonderful the whole staff is, just their tone and welcoming energy is something I am so very grateful for! The front office staff is so sweet and kind! Dr. Nelsen and his assistant took such good good care of my daughter during all her fillings. The way they explain everything, the terms and wording they use really put her at ease and made the whole procedure a complete pleasure! She had such confidence in them and loved the praises she received from them throughout everything!! So very blessed to have had them recommended to us! We definitely found our new dental family!

Today’s visit was one of my worst dental visit I ever had. I didn’t have any issues prior to this time with this dental office. I’ve been a patient there for more than 10 - 12 yrs. Every single dental hygienist I had was so nice and gentle. Today I had someone named Hope, she said she’s “ covering” for today.. was so aggressive. My gum is still hurting and swollen from the way she was cleaning it. She was splashing water all over on my face even after I told her.. Dr was attentive and took time in visiting.

My family & I have been coming here for years. We are always met with a friendly staff & short wait times. We are in & out & everything we need is accomplished with swift & thorough care. The office is always clean & the staff is very good about working you in if you need an appointment scheduled. I love that the dental staff is always kind & makes you feel comfortable by explaining what they are doing so you wont feel so nervous. Like I said, my family has been going to them for years & for a good reason!

The reception staffs are friendly and professional. The dentist was knowledgeable and professional, taking the time to thoroughly explain each step of the examination and answer any questions I had. They made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process, which was important to me as I tend to get anxious about dental appointments. The treatment I received was top-notch - the dentist was skilled and efficient. I felt confident that I was in good hands, and the results were outstanding.

I have been coming to this office for 13 years. They consistently provide great care. The staff at the front desk are professional, the clinical staff are prompt with services, and I have never had a problem. Alexis is a talented assistant who makes going to the dentist less stressful. Dr Nielsen and Dr Cross are wonderful. A great atmosphere in this office. I appreciate all of them.

Dr Nielson and his assistant Bailey were amazing! I’ve had previous work done before without any issues. Everyone there treats you well and makes sure the job is done right. I have recommended this place to several people in case they need a high quality dentist. Thank y’all for doing such a wonderful job. I really appreciate it!

Dr. Cross addressed all of my concerns, and my son's, with the procedure my son had done. Dr. Cross made every effort to help my son remain calm, comfortable, and confident in Dr. Cross' ability to perform the procedure painlessly. We are both grateful to Dr. Cross for being so caring and professional.

I have been going to this office for more then 15 years, the service was excellent with Dr Nielsen, and now that Dr Cross took over the practice after Dr Nielsen retirement, the service and consistency in providing a great service, the professionalism of the staff is just as great. Thank you to all.

I love the new dentist and the front office staff! It's the little things, like the front office calling me up to ask if we my son and I to move our appointments next to each other so we can ride together. That type of care is not easy to find these days. Definitely 5 stars.

Jordan cleaned my teeth yesterday, and it was a delightful experience. Mind you this is being said by a confirmed denti-phobe who has feared just about any interaction at a dentist’s office all her life. I would highly recommend Jordan to anyone and I actually already have.

Brooke did a great job cleaning my teeth. She listened to my concerns and requests. Office staff friendly and efficient. Dentist was friendly and informative. Overall great experience. Sad to see the free floss, toothbrush and mouthwash go.

I have been going to Dr. Nielson and is crew for over 10years and everyone I have encountered in this office has been awesome. From the person answering the phone, the front desk, back office, hygienist, dental assistants and Dr. Nielson.

Jordon was the technician in charge of taking x-rays and cleaning my teeth. She was efficient yet friendly and did a good job. The office staff was welcoming and courteous. I appreciate the rare, good customer service in today’s world!

I had a tooth extracted that I thought may have a possibility of breaking off at the gym line. The Doctor extracted it with no problem and completely painless during and after.the procedure. I was very impressed and relieved.

Brooke is the best hygienist! She is gentle and throughly cleans your teeth. Dr. Cross has great bedside manner and takes the time to listen to any concerns and for you to ask questions. Highly recommend this dentist!

I went because I had a bad toothache. Dr Cross was able to identify the tooth that was causing the problems. And then he was able to help me with the proper solution. I'm so grateful. He is very very kind.

Dr Nielsen is AWESOME!!!! He is so kind and gentle. I can get extremely nervous with dental work. When you are in the chair you can feel the calmness and confidence he and his staff bring.

My first time at the practice, for a check up and cleaning. I loved the hygienist and Dr. The only thing I dislike is that they ask you to pay half of any scheduled treatment up front.

Hygienist was most friendly. Sensitive to my TMJ while cleaning my teeth. Gals at the front are so knowledgeable it’s scary!! They’re great. Met new dentist. Very nice.
