Please stay away from this location. If I could I would give them a zero star. I had the worst experience picking up my car. I won't go too in detail but I do have video evidence, pictures, documents on how my experience was with this location. Yelp wouldn't have enough room for me to explain the whole experience to perfection. Started off with both employees showing up to work an 1:15 min late. My appointment which I booked with hertz online was at 8am. Not only did both employees show up an hour plus late. No apology, zero professionalism but instead I was told I was wrong because they open up at 9. The funny thing is there was another couple there with me who had an appointment at 8:30. So who really is in the wrong here. After not even getting a greeting from the first employee who showed up. He went straight to the computer but for what, because he had no idea what to do to get my car reservation going. Keep in mind I had work that day thinking my appointment was at 8. As the first employee was doing nothing on the computer I just stood there with no guidance. We had to wait for the second tardy employee to show up. The second employee who I assume was the manager was even more rude than the first, he was getting mad at me because I didn't want to get his insurance he was pushing onto me. Fast forward to finally getting my car. Not only was the car not clean outside and in the car was damaged severely. The first employee ran outside and with a dirty rag, keep in mind during Covid, and started wiping down the inside of the car and giving it a quick vacuum. Aren't these procedures supposed to be done before getting your car?? Zero Covid protocols are being taken place at this location. As I had to get to work I took the car I had no choice to argue but instead kept evidence to where I wanted to leave as reviews and to talk to corporate about. Not only was the car dirty after the second day the battery literally blew up. It's a two year old car. How can this happen? Aren't they suppose to do vehicular checks. Bet if you asked them for the car reports they would have no clue what to show you. My story continues but it's just too much to type out. Bogus customer service, bogus cars rented here. Rude employees Stay far away from this location. I've notified corporate about them and they should be looking into my case. Take your business elsewhere, trust me.

Was promised a car luxury (Chrysler 300- or similar) for Thabksgiving weekend , was told no worries, we will work on getting you the car you want, if not I will get you in a small SUV ... next day, of course they don't have it... so they work out a deal with my husband for the Mercedes AMG.. for what was suppose to be 20.00 more a day (4 days) ended up to be more Like 150.00 more than our original quote for our luxury car , def. not worth it, not for long distance car, or if you need space and comfort.. I don't blame them though, it gets super busy for holiday weekends... Chris is very pleasant to work with. He helped me over the summer for an Insurancd claim /accident - and he made sure to handle everything. SN: (Just don't leave anything in the car... last I saw my Burberry sunglasses was in the car Friday late Night but feeling ill Sat.morning , the day of the return , I didn't get to go through the car , called Monday and nobody seen it. :( hopefully it'll turn up still, I'll keep u all updated

So annoyed by this branch! I used to be so brand-centric, supportive and 'letter-writing complimentary to corporate about this location', but their service has steadily gone down hill. Yesterday, I asked Michael (because of my height and long legs) for a comfortable car to accommodate my frame. Instead, and despite the fact that their lot was packed with un-rented cars, I was given a clown car that truly was the most uncomfortable ride I've ever been in. My complaint to Michael brought on vacuous eyes and when I told him I had over-filled the gas, that generosity of mine was met with a grunt. I am now going to my chiropractor to get my back right. You lost me, guys. I'm not that hard a person to please, all I take is a little courtesy. Goodbye, forever! Back to Enterprise. They, at least, listen and respond.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! After reading a few comments I decided to give it a try and decided to make a reservation MORE THAN A MONTH IN ADVANCE. By the time I arrived at the location the person name WILL, which is the guy working there was very rude. He doesn't even greet people. I told him I was going to pick up a car and he just said, "Sorry there is no more, you are gonna have to go somewhere else". I asked him why if I had already place the reservation. His answer "it is not guaranteed"...He doesn't care about customers. I could continue talking about how bad this company treats its customer. I do recommend you to STAY AWAY from this place. I usually don't write reviews, but this time it is needed to prevent you from having a bad experience.

Very rude, very unprofessional and the manager who is Amenian he is very bullying. I have many Armanian friends I have never seen anyone as rude and as unprofessional as him. I had reservation he didnt want to cooperate with me. I called for a pick up, from a tow yard I had to go to since my car was just totaled on the 405Fwy, and he didn't want to come and pick us up. Took my business to 0.4 miles down the street to Enterprise. Walked in picked my car, they upgraded me for free and walked out in nice new washed car from Enterprise.

The guy that was working today it was really rude when he saw that we were speaking Spanish he told us to let him work that he had a hard day if we can go out side the offices !! we where going to get 2 rental cars I ask him is this how you treat the customers and he toll me in a rude way " bye " bye " bye after I left I want to enterprise and you can tell the difference and the customer service right away as soon as I got there one of the members open the door for me and smiled and said what can I help you today!!!

I was picking up a rental up from insurance and the guy was just not so friendly. I was asking him questions and he was talking back in a rude way. I didnt get even get his name or anything I didnt feel comfortable getting a rental at that place so I decided to go somewhere else. I wouldnt suggest going there in my opinion. It’s been the second time going there fyi. Decided to give it another chance but never going there again. Hope it helps someone when deciding to get a rental there.

8/14/2020 Friday. EXCELLENT service!!! from Sepulveda North Hills, CA The two gentlemen, Justin and Emmanuel are so helpful, friendly, thoughtful, sweet, polite, cool and very professional. Straight‐up fraud. Classic bait-and-switch at this Hertz. I shopped around and made a reservation then walked a mile and a half in 90 degree heat to get my car. "We don't have anything available for that price. We have lots of Economy cars but it will be $10 more per day. The reservation doesn't guarantee the price." Stereotypical rental car scam - I felt like I was in a 90s sit-com or something.

After diverting us to a different location because the car wasn't available in time, it turned out they gave us a car without legal registration. It expired four months ago. Luckily we caught that before our road trip. When returned it took them 45 minutes to figure it out and switch our car. Definitely the first and last time to rent a car from them. Complain to Corporate is on its way.

The employee that helped me, has no idea what he was talking about. I was having a slight issue getting a car. 1st I was told one thing then 2 minutes later I was told something completely different. I ended up leaving and going to a different location because the car had already been payed and placed on hold. I went to the Burbank location and had a much better experience.

Horrible they charged me twice I received an invoice payment was made after I returned the car never got my deposit back I made a claim to my bank they were trying to charge me twice they reversed it because merchant said I was charged for damages which there was none worst experience I have proof I have provided and nothing they robbed me so don’t ever go here

North Hills branch is one of the best customer service you will get. Chris was very personable and nice. The place may be small but it doesn't matter. The car we had was excellent--- no odor, fast and efficient. Just take note of the address---- drive slowly when looking for the Hertz branch as you might miss it. I will definitely recommend this branch.

Simply rude. I called this local office to ask question on my reservation which I booked 30 seconds ago. The guy who answered cuts me off and said in interrogating tone "before you ask the question, what car did you book?" I hang up on the spot and cancelled reservation online. Going with Enterprise. This happened at Fri, March 25th at 12:30pm.

The staff here is always amazing! Emmanuel & Kenny do what it takes to ensure you leave happy. My rentals always go smoothly if not they do there best to make sure I leave happy! Good service goes a long way! I truly appreciate their service which is why I keep going back! Hertz is lucky to have them!!

After reading so many negative reviews I was quite discurraged,but they offered the best rates in town for the vehicle I needed so I decided to give them a try, and I'm glad I did. Staff was polite and proffecional I got a great vehicle at a great price, smooth check out & smooth check in, Sweet !!!

The customer service was terrible! Will the agent was not helpful at all and was very rude. We made a reservation a month ago and they said there was no car available and for us to go somewhere else. I will not be renting from Hertz ever again due to rude customer service and lack of ethics.

Worst experience ever. The gentleman that help us was in a bad mood. He was mumbling and we couldn't understand a word therefore we had many questions. Every question we ask the guy just started at us and make us feel so stupid for asking questions. Do yourself a favor.
