I normally don't post so when I do you know something is great or horribly wrong. In this case its a great review. I had persistent leaks across several locations in my roof which I had engaged other "roofers" to repair... In each case prior to Jacob there was a half fix done with warranty which I exercised again and again until frankly I gave up... After these many poor experiences I searched long and hard for an experienced roofer without flashy websites, a true tradey that had tons of experience... This is how I found Jacob and I'm glad I did. He came out quickly, did a thorough assessment of the job, quoted quickly to the amount I thought was reasonable, was clear in his communications, told me when he would turn up and single handed manged the job over several days. Fast forward several months...yes I've waited a while to respond to Jacobs request for comment ... So far so good...a few good downpours and not a drop of water... am very happy with job and would recommend Jacob to anyone needing a bloody good roofer... Its a pity guys like Jacob will retire one day ... so get in fast before he does guys...not many like him about.

From the first phone call to ask for a quote right through to the completed project Jacob was extremely professional. Jacob took the time to listen to our concerns with the issues of overflowing gutters and spreaders not working efficiently with heavy downpours. The work has been completed and we are very happy with the outcome. No more overflowing gutter as the new rain heads and the old spreaders now replaced with extra pvc piping are handling the rain water easily. The problem has been solved, our only regret is we didn't have Jacob here to fix it earlier! He even made minor adjustments to the existing tiles where they were not laid correctly. Also, the rain head and new pvc piping were colour matched to our existing downpipes and gutter, a seamless finish that looks like it has always been there. The work was of high quality and his daughter Elise was his trustworthy, capable assistant. The worksite was left neat and tidy. We would absolutely have no hesitation using High Roofing if we need any other roofing repairs done in future. Thoroughly recommend.

I contacted Jacob on the 9 October 2018 morning. He inspected the roof on the same day evening. . The weather forecast for 10 October was heavy storm from about 9 am. So Jacob came in the morning first thing and fixed the roof leakage before the heavy rain which arrived at 9:30 am. His excellent timely through job prevented the roof leaking on the 10th and hence after that date. I contacted three other people prior to calling Jacob. He is the only one who acted very professionally ,communicated very friendly, and completed the job for me on a very timely manner within a very reasonable price. Jacob explained the cause for leakage and provided photographs before fixing the leakage and after fixing it as well. I very strongly recommend Jacob for any one who needs his service. During a recent storm, our roof started leaking into our lounge and being a Sunday night didn't expect any response, however, I was wrong. Jacob answered the call and arranged to come out first thing Monday morning. Jacob turned up as promised had a look for the problem, patched it up to stop the water from continuing to leak as it was still raining. He then arranged to come back when it had stopped raining to do a thorough inspection. Jacob returned to do a thorough inspection of our roof and found a few issues which he showed us. Jacob sent us an itemised quote for the work to be performed and once we agreed completed the job as quoted, on time and for a decent price. Would not hesitate to recommend Jacob for any of your roofing needs; very easy to deal with and a good down to earth bloke.

Oct- 17-Just had rotten fascia timber inside /outside replaced and leaking gutter repaired. The job was done professionally to very high standard. I am extremely happy with excellent service and quality works provided by J And LR Kikkert Trading As High Roofing. Highly recommended. Jan-20 -Our gutter down pipe constantly filled up with dirt and leaves. After determining what the issue was, Jacob provided a better solution to our problem by installing a diverter to stop further blockages in the future. He fixed the issue in a very professional and efficient manner. This is the 2nd job, Jacob has done for us and we are very happy with the result... highly recommend!

Had a wind tunnel come through and caused a bit of havoc. Contacted 6 roofers and only Jacob replied. He was out with 1/2 hour and up on the roof making sure tiles were secure and siliconed a few broken tiles until he could come back to replace and repair. The turn around was 3 working days. Jacob went and got the tiles and also left me with spares. I couldn't ask for better service and not overpriced. We used Jacob to install some flashing on the roof of our extension. We found him to be professional at all times - he communictaed well via phone and email and he arrived (to both quote and complete the work) when he said he would. We also found Jacob to be very honest when compared to other roofers we had sought quotes from - he quoted us less than half our most expensive quote and offered further advice and repairs for a better price. However there was another issue with our roof which I asked Jacob for his opinion and decided to engage him for the extra work. Jacob knows the roof and gutters very well, he investigates and finds out the real cause of the leak for me, instead of jumping to conclusions. His pricing is also very reasonable.
