As an introvert, I loved having my space in the hostel rooms. Constant light, internet and network. Plus they always kept the rooms clean. Although its very compact. I loathed the living rooms and the kitchen especially. They rarely stayed clean. The kitchen is fully equipped but sadly left unkept and just dirty throughout my 1 week stay. The management kept blaming previous guests and hoped by some miracle, a new guest would come and take up the responsibility of cleaning up the place. The kitchen was unpleasant. If you're an extrovert, you'd find solace in the bar and the living rooms. There were game nights held at the bar and chances of networking and socialising were open in the living rooms, where also, the cable network tv was always on. All in all, my stay was comfortable enough. And i must add, the outside compound was a bit disappointing. Well there's a reason why they didn't put it up on their website. That's all I'll say about that.

HighGarden Hostel is an okay place depending on your purpose and then your budget. As the name implies it has hostel arrangements with double bed bunks for sharing. The single room is a very low budget plan, lesser than the usual hotel set up. It's just meant for a stranded traveler to have a place to lay his head. It is in any way fanciful nor is it that convenient. You will just have a random room to rest in. The price for the single room I would say is overpriced for the facilities available. It could have been a bit lower, then it would make sense. There's a bubbling bar with drinks and edibles and also snooker tables for recreation.

A well positioned hostel facility. I suggest a relocation to highgarden hostels if you need to meet up with an appointment on lekki and won't want to be disappointed with the traffic condition you'd have to experience in catching up. However, remember it is an hostel and you might meet with individuals not satisfactory to spend the night with under a roof. All the same, I made a good choice staying there.

All the times I have been to High Garden have been socially inclined - to meet/hangout with friends for the Saturday Games Night and/or a casual meal with friends. Their new Smoked meats menu is quite the deal, if you do make it there, make sure to check and try it out. The setting is informal and casual so many of the people there are friendly and casual. Seating is outdoor with wooden furniture. An awesome experience especially if you go there with friends and the food is generally decent.

I moved into HighGarden in April as I was looking for a short-term lodge.This place has been nice that it allowed me to meet good people and very few troublesome people. It's at the center of the island which allows you to easily navigate the area. The food is very expensive compared to food on the island. The water is NOT TREATED and it is bad for some people as it caused rashes but it's fair generally. There is free Wi-Fi so its nice to stay in for frequent lodgers like me.

Is a Kind of good but definitely not 3 start hotel but is safe and in good environment and secure place, no disturbance, you can enjoy football match, u can play snooker and u have fun, but I feel is expensive base on service deliver, they have good staff but room is expensive to what u enjoy in the room, they have good and fantastic food, u can pay cash, transfer and POS. But they need to do some touches and make sure there is AC everytime. Keep it up

Had a nice experience. The service was really good, nice smiling faces, power was always on and free WiFi, the staff were very willing to help and very understanding. Highly recommended for people travelling or need a nice place to stay in a small budget.

When looking for less fair hotel in #Ajah #lekki to stay try #Highgarden. The hostel is neat. Good services water and light are available. foods and drinks is there. #Smokingarea available. Located inside #ikotaVilla. They show #Livematch. Nearest busstop is #megachicken along the lekki express way. The estate is secured.

Very fiendly staff, cheap big rooms, also dorms for backpackers. Super safe. Cheap bar with many Beers and delicious barbeque meat for dinner. Its a hidden gem. If you're looking for a cool and relaxed place to stay, this is every travellers paradise with good rooms and party in one building. More

Love it its like being at a tiki bar lounge. It's calming and a rush at the same .time.. the food is on point...and they have different activities for their patrons every time... I have a wonderful experience everytime I go there.

For the budget, a shared room works great if you need a place in a pinch. But bear in mind, this is Lagos, so don't expect the standards of clink and meninger hostels. The staff here are pretty nice. All in all a good attempt at affordable stay on the Lagos island axis.

Its been and always will be home away from home. I just love the warmth and the feel good effect it give me. Will always come back again and again.

Had a good time. The yam and sauce is what everybody needs to kick their experience here off with. Place is really decent and calm. And they have a hotel model that’s apparently the first of its kind. Ridiculously affordable too.

Nice sit out in ikota villa estate, good chicken. Nkwobi and roasted fowl(you might need to call and book for this one ahead) but you would love the experience...also heard they have a game night on Thursdays... Great!

High garden hostel is located in lekki and not too far from the conservation center. Their rooms are neat and it's a good hide out for a solo traveler. They only need to improve on their bath room .

Feels like home, very affordable accommodation for a traveller who's looking to stay on Lagos Island. I loved the hostel option. Great food and BBQ..I'll definitely stay at highgraden again.
