Wow! I finally managed to get my 11 year old daughter to meet with Poornima & her lovely team of ladies today. When my daughter was only 6 she unfortunately had to get 2 teeth pulled out. A nightmare neither one of us want to experience again. The whole ordeal was so traumatic (for us both) that I have not been able to get her back to a dentist since!! I needed urgent dental treatment late last year and was looking for a local dentist when I came across Poornima's dental surgery add in the local paper, checked it out and really liked what I saw. Meeting her was even better. Such a professional & warm woman. So that's how we met! I also explained to Poornima about my daughter's awful experience. Recently I needed to go back to her and I made an appointment for my daughter also. She was as reluctant and as nervous as I expected BUT the friendliness, kindness and reassurance that was shown to my daughter by Poornima and her beautiful team today - Poornima even managed to properly clean my daughter's teeth! And we all know even that can be sensitive!!!! My daughter needs two tiny fillings and she asked if could we go back next week! I was so proud of her!! Cut a long review short (which I've not done a very good job on) I am thrilled and relieved to have finally got my little one to a dentist after all these years and that she had the calm & safe experience she had today. No one likes going to the dentist, let's face it. But if you can leave your dentist happy and laughing, you can't go past Hills Dental Design!! Highly, highly recommend.

Somewhere in the vicinity of 15 years ago my granddaughter was suffering from a tooth ache ,I couldn’t get an appointment on the day with any of the dentists in the Thornleigh / Pennant Hills area other than with Dr Poornima who made an effort to fit her in between appointments. Treatment was excellent so I continued to take my granddaughter for all her dental check ups and any treatment recommended by Dr Poornima until my granddaughter and family moved to WA about 10 years later. Recently my wife required some expensive dental procedures and I had no hesitation to take her to see Dr Poornima even though we had long moved away from the area , an excellent result both my wife and I are extremely pleased with the result . We are now looking forward to Dr Poornima treating or should is say curing my wife’s Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome I consider Dr Poornima to be the most modern up to date dentists I have ever encountered as well as a genuine caring practitioner with a most pleasant personality

Wow wow wow. Dr. Poornima is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced! After getting bombarded with different treatments and diagnosis’s from other dentists, not knowing WHY or HOW, we were referred here by our friend for a second opinion. Her way of explaining my treatment plan was so reassuring in the way that I finally understood it (instead of all the technical jargon stuff). Her caring nature and patient-focused care was great and she really listened to my concerns without brushing it off. Also, she is very funny, which helped ease the nerves!!! Even after nearly two decades of experience, she showed so much passion and interest in my case which is why we all recommend her. Very clean environment and spacious waiting room. The receptionist was also extremely lovely and made conversation with you which is so nice.

My experience dates back to when Dr Srrinavas set up as an independent practitioner. The location wasn't quite so convenient, but her obvious expertise set her above other dentists of my experience, and I have always since been glad to be one of her patients. My first sight of her came as I prepared for my last appointment with the man whose practice she took over (though I don't know any of the details). My initial thought was that she didn't look old enough to be doing the job! But it didn't take her long to establish her skills as my preferred practitioner, and I have appreciated having her and her colleagues to visit for my dental needs ever since - no more worries about what I might be in for! Thanks to Dr Srinivas (correctly spelt this time, & co).

Although it had been some 12 years since I'd visited a dentist, and I arrived with a raft of problems with my teeth, Poornima and her team made me feel so comfortable at each and every visit. Their friendliness and concern for my comfort was genuine. When it came time for the bulk of the major work (two root canals and a handful of fillings), Poornima discussed several sedation and comfort options with me to try and help alleviate my anxiety. And consequently on the actual day of the work, most of my anxiety had gone. (I did choose to take one of the sedation options, which was also handled very professionally.) The whole experience has left me absolutely comfortable to return for future check ups - which I haven't been for years!

Small world! As I was getting my teeth looked at in Australia for the first time since I arrived in 2017, I wanted to ensure I saw the best doctor in business. I googled up and shortlisted a few and visited one of them to only return back not fully satisfied. Just then I remembered a common friend/relative had referred Dr Poornima while I was in India. My issue was diagnosed as Wisdom tooth infection and it was removed in no time without any pain although it was quite complicated. Big thanks to Dr Poornima and team. I walk home as a happy patient and I know where I need to head to next time I have an issue with my teeth. I would definitely recommend Dr Poornima and team. You would not be disappointed.

Amazing Team I was diagnosed by 3 neurologists that I was suffering from Trigeminal Neuralgia and only way to cure Sensations on the right side of my face was to operate. I was having difficulty in opening my jaw at the same time.Decided to see Dr Poornima and she was amazing in diagnosis and started working on relieving the tightness in my jaw muscles that was causing my jaw pushed outward and hence the pain. On second visit I was showing signs of getting at least 90% relief from sharp pain on my face. In a month I was completely cured. She is a great listener and a very good adviser. Very Friendly and professional. Never went to any other dentist from that day onwards.

If you are looking for trust, value and sound dental advice, this is the place to go. My 4 year old had a terrible fall and another dentist that we initially visited advised us to have his tooth extracted. We decided to get multiple opinions and by stroke of luck we visited Dr Poornima. Sometimes a "do nothing" can be the best course of action and that is what Dr Poornima advised us. That ended up as the right decision eventually. We had couple of visits already including the latest one today and my son is really comfortable with the staff and the ambience. On the way back today he told me "I am not afraid of the dentist anymore".

My son and myself are long time patient of Dr Poornima. Her team takes good care of us and I trust and appreciate her professionalism, expertise and caring. I had a rebellious front tooth from the unsuccessful orthodontics in teenage years, and my previous dentist advised me that to fix the front tooth, a couple of my healthy teeth would need to be removed to make space for that. So I never considered it. But Dr Poornima suggested otherwise and without losing any healthy teeth and with minimum intervention, my front tooth was back to where it should be in just 8 months time. I’m happy with the result and wish I saw her earlier.

I have been seeing Dr Poornima for many years now & will keep doing so. The service & treatment is excellent. I am one that is not very good at dealing with dental treatment's, but Dr Poornima makes the experience as comfortable & relaxed as possible. I highly recommend Dr Poornima. Even from a standard X-ray check, she was able to detect I had blocked nasal passages affecting my breathing & gave me a referral to see an ENT specialist to get it seen to. I can definitely recommend Hills Dental I was super scared to begin with to go and see them, as I have an extremely bad experience with another dentist. It was so bad I had not seen a dentist for approx 13 years. So I got a bad tooth ache and off I went to see Hills Dental. I can say that from start to finish they were amazing. They took the time to calm me down and answered all my questions I was so at ease with everything that i left feeling very comfortable! Thankyou to the whole team! I saw Dr Poornima yesterday for a regular dental checkup and mentioned about my troubling left wisdom tooth. She said she can do the removal in the same sitting. I had this brain fog or mental limitation that the procedure will be very painful. So I got anxious. While explaining the process, she and her assistant got me to calm down n kept me positively engaged..and in less than 20 minutes..the tooth was out…as if magic was used. From start to end, the experience was so smooth and painless. I Highly recommend her !!!

I had implanted my tooth (almost all on my lower jaw) about three years ago, so far so good with great satisfaction! I would like to express my appreciation to Hills Dental Design team, for the excellent and professional services provided to me. In the past three years after implantation, I felt that the implanted tooth fit into my jaw very well, I can enjoy various food normally as earlier, it certainly has improved my lifestyle greatly!

I had made two visits to Hills Dental Design recently for regular maintenance and some fillings. The procedures were carried out gently and carefully by both he Doctor and her assistance. Also, it was good that they constantly communicated with me through the whole process so that any discomfort could be addressed and eliminated. With all of my work being classed as major dental and the thought of going to the dentist for hours on end each week became quite scary, the team made me feel so comfortable and got rid of my anxiety the moment I met them. Today is the first time I went to this clinic and paid almost $350 for cleaning teeth. Their charge is almost double what I have been charged before. I did not ask the price before going otherwise I will not go. Nurse is inexpeienced and the equipment is old. Water keeps leaking from the tube. My face is washed as well. Will not go second time. I wonder where the 4.9 rating comes from.

Dr. Poornima is a great dentist! She errs on the side of conservative when making decisions about your teeth, gums and mouth. I had an excellent cleaning done by her recently. Dr Poornima has a great bedside manner. I recently got a crown done and she was great in articulating the procedure and what to expect through out the entire process. I traditionally have not liked going to see dentists and am always nervous however she has certainly put me at ease they check ups and teeth cleaning is no longer an issue for me.

I am not a fan of going to the dentist - that is an understatement! However, at Hills Dental Design I am able to relax and trust without feeling embarrassed about my fears! Poornima and all the staff are friendly, accommodating to individual patient needs and will do their very best to put a patient at ease, no matter what dental work you require. As a long term patient, I'm happy to travel up to an hour to attend here once or twice a year, as they offer such excellent care.

It is a long wait for the implant to settled but it is worthed and they will last much longer. 5yrs warranty that awesome and they keep an eye on my implant that the main thing. Although it is quiet expensive but you can pay on installments basis at interest free term. Thanks Poornima they looks good.
