Unfortunately, I was out of the country at the time, and worried as to what options I had in terms of receiving immediate care. I called Hillsborough Dental Centre and Dr. Vincent Lo readily assessed my concerns via telephone, and even prescribed me necessary medication at my local pharmacy abroad. Additionally, he provided me with detailed instructions on after-care steps I could take until returning home to Scarborough. Upon my return home, Dr. Vincent Lo immediately made himself available. In a phenomenally hospitable manner, the staff welcomed me by name. Dr. Vincent Lo thoroughly and patiently investigated my concerns, exercising all potential avenues to ensure I was not experiencing a serious complication. After discovering I had no complications, Dr. Lo cleaned and polished my teeth and gave me an in-depth explanation on how to properly clean and care for my teeth- sharing important information I had never heard before. Needless to say I was absolutely baffled by Dr. Lo’s service- from my time abroad until my return home. From the moment I walked into Hillsborough Dental Centre to the moment I left, my entire experience was highly impressionable. Moving forward, I will only attend this dentistry! If you’ve been looking for a dental office that provides exceptional service while truly considering your personal needs, this is the place for you.

If I have choice I would have given this Dentist minus 10 stars. Greedy and unprofessional doctor, i was surprised how he got the license when he does not know the the 'basics' of this profession. Here is the story, almost a year ago i had sever pain and infection in one of my tooth. Went there, he checked and told me that my tooth filling has gone and i need new filling, which will cost me $ 400. I said okay,i am in really bad pain if it is the solution please do it. Her assistant was good lady, she recommend me not to do the filling again, instead take the tooth out which was absolutely right thing to do. But i preferred the doctor's advice and got the job done. came home and my pain started getting worst, waited few days but it was getting worst, i went to another dentist and told him the story, guess what he said, he told me that no dentist in the world will do the filling in your tooth if you have infection, it is very simple case first of all dentist must have give you some kind of medication to treat the infection and then he suppose to do the filling. I was shocked with that information, how can a professional doctor can do this kind of stuff ? Just to grab few hundred dollars, you are cheating a common person who doesn't know the ABC of dentistry ? You are trained for this profession and you are doing this kind of stuff ? What a shame ? Soon i will be filling a complain against you to Ontario dental association.( went back to my country for few months that's why review is late)

Last year I moved to Scarborough and decided to go to this dentist because it was beside the condo I lived in. Dr. Lo on my third visit said he would like to redo a filling I had done a couple years ago because he believed it had an infection. He did the filling too high and when I told him this, he argued with me and his staff were more knowledgeable then him and when he tried to take it down he did a horrible job because it was still too high. so after a couple months I decided to go to my previous dentist in Richmond Hill who confirmed it was too high but it was too late the damage he did was done my tooth was cracked. This greedy dentist touched my good tooth and back then said it had an infection which it did not at all so he could do a root canal. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to spend more money and damage your teeth. The 5 star reviews must be paid for because there is nothing 5 star about his work. I am in so much pain.

I had a very curved wisdom tooth that I needed to have pulled out. After my original dentist refused to do it because she said I needed a specialist, I found Hillsborough. This doctor is in my opinion extremely talented and skilled, he cut my tooth in half without any pain, then proceed to pull each cut out individually to deal with the curve problem. Later that week I chipped my tooth on a piece of bone, I immediately went back to Hillsborough dental centre. The same doctor again super meticulously went to work. This time I had a cavity that was very close to the nerve on the chip tooth. So he careful cleaned the cavity out without hitting the nerve, and then filled my tooth in exactly the way it was before. I honestly don’t give to many 5 star reviews but I will vouch for this Dentist any day.

This Dental Office is amazing! I have been coming here with my 3 children for more than 10 years. I now live more than an hour away and still make the effort to come see Dr. Vincent Lo. This Dentist is so kind and gentle that even my young children have no fears for all the work that is required. I personally have never in my 40 plus years been more happy with such a fine Dentist Dr. Lo is very clear in his procedures and takes the time to explain in detail what he has to do and why? I cannot fathom how anyone can give a negative review as we have had dozens of appointments with great experiences and results. If you are not coming here, you are missing out! I can’t describe how grateful I am for Dr. Vincent Lo and his amazing team. My severe dental anxiety was addressed with so much care and patience. The attention to detail was flawless, I have never had half of the cool modern tools and supplies used on me before! Most of all it was incredibly gentle. I felt nothing from the needle to the drilling, and he even accommodated my TMJ with a mouth rest while he worked on me. This is my first time going to this Dental Office. They're super professional and caring. When I first came in, they have given me a form to fill out, since it was my first time. They inspected all of my teeth first, and did an x-ray as well. I came in with a fallen cavatity filling. They asked me in grave detail, what was wrong with that tooth, and how hurting it was. Even though one of the nurses kept on pressuring me that, I had to do a root canal, it was the ONLY option. But they still allowed me to speak with the dentist. The dentist, helped me fixed the filling. And helped me shaped it back to fit the design of the rest of my tooth. Took the time out, to polish my tooth. Helped me clean the rest of my teeth as well.

Out of this world personal service. I have recently been here on two occaations and I can tell you hands down this is the best dental office in Toronto. They are always pleasant, and they take the time to get to know you and Dr Lo always comes out to great you while you are waiting. The staff are friendly and treat you respectfully. Even after my appt Dr Lo spoke to me about future needs and excerises for TMJ. Their hours are great and are open late at night, its easy to get to and I cannot state how happy I am to have found this dental pratice. Today I accompany go to Hillsborough Dental Centre with my husband for his normal cleaning and polish. I wait at the waiting area, and I find out a new air cleaner is located at the area. This is good for people who waiting here. I get inside with my husband and see some new instruments have been add on to the centre. Dr. Lo is very patient to explain the process to us, and show us how to take care our teeth to make it healthy. I had taken out one of my tooth and realize how important to take care your teeth before too late. I don't like to see dentist, but the dentist and staff are very friendly and patient. So I will recommend to friends.

Dr Lo and his staff at Hillsborough have been all very professional. I have been going to see him for years. For me what I want from a dentist is a person who considers the patient first by providing superior service. I starting going to Dr. Vincent Lo because it was so very convenient, they were located on the first floor of my condo. But as time went on I was always impressed with the work I received. Dr. Lo is very kind and non judgmental. He is great at informing you throughout any procedure on how it’s going and if be about any problems. Dr.Lo is unprofessional and unethical. He will say your tooth is infected and that it needs filling done. He will do the filing too high causing your tooth to crack over time so he can recommend a root canal. He is greedy and does not care about your dental health. I wish I never went to this nightmare of a dentist. It was like a horror movie. I have never had any major work done on my teeth and now thanks to his idiotic idea of doing a filing my tooth cracked and now I require a root canal. please do not believe these 5 star reviews they lack detail and are easily paid for.

Dr. Vincent Lo and his team are personable and thorough, which are the qualities I look for in a dentist. I'm also pretty happy about the late office hours as this makes it convenient for someone with a 9-5. He's helped me fix problems I knew I had but other dentists didn't address - fillings on teeth with abrasions. Often times drinking cold beverages or brushing that area, it would sting and I didn't know how to resolve it. I would say Dr. Lo is approachable and receptive of feedback. Hillsbrough dental centre have the most professional and caring staff. I have been a patient for about 6 years and would never change dentis, even if i moved from the area. I am glad that I made the decision to go with Hillsborough Dental for my wisdom tooth extraction. I had the good fortune of having Dr. Vincent Lo as my densist. The extraction went very smoothly; Doctor was very nice and welcoming as he made me feel comfortable. It was the first time I was not scared of going to a dentist. The assistants at this place are also very perofessional and charming. Towards the end, Doc offered me a complementry whitening treatment that I am going to get done soon! I've been going to Dr. Lo for the past 2-3 years for my braces and other dental care routine. Due to my frequent visits (monthly adjustment), I've gotten close to their amazing and friendly staffs. I even had an extraction here before and that was quick and painless. It healed nicely and fast!
