I went there for a haircut and the stylist had no idea how to handle a hair texture which was curly. She first gave a quote for blow dry after assessing my hair and half way through the haircut, she suddenly started straightening my hair and started cutting it very short. When I tried to explain that they should not go so low in length if the hair is temporarily straightened because when the hair curls back it will end up being extremely short. A good stylist will know this themselves. Instead of trying to understand my point , the stylist started getting very impatient and started making disrespectful comments about my hair texture. She even had the audacity to drop the ball and left half way. The owner never even tried to correct her when she left the haircut in the middle . Totally UNPROFESSIONAL. I would give a zero rating if possible because they not only made it extremely short but also left it half done. Now I need to wait for 6 months to a year for my hair to grow back , in order to fix . Ended up with with a horrible haircut that can not even be corrected. Clarifications to the most rude response received: —————————————————— Firstly, please mention that you started being disrespective when the customer only gave constructive feedbacks to drive the haircut in the desired manner. Secondly, you did not throw me out, I walked off after seeing your throw tantrum and exhibit obnoxious and unpleasant behaviors. Even if others reading your response were to believe you, they will not attempt to even visit a place that throws customers out for sharing feedback Thirdly, please mention that you dropped the haircut halfway only because you assumed that customers who share feedback might also not pay. You clearly mentioned that “I am leaving because you will not pay”. That only rang a bell in my head! “MAYBE YOU THROW A TANTRUM WITH EVERYONE AND NOT BEING PAID iS NOT NEW TO YOU ” Your very tone in your response speaks of your character, NiNa. I don’t have to explain more to other . If they will read other 1 star reviews, they will know that you have shown this behavior to many other customers. Finally , only a person filled by insecurities around being tagged as a “psycho” will readily call the other person “psycho” - which you proved in your response .

I explained my hair needs, I showed a picture of a style and color blend I thought would be better for my age and so on. I did not get that style or color blend...in any sense. I never expect even close to a photo of the hairstyle if I bring in a picture, but I'm never doing it again after this. I was mortified that there was zero technical color skill. They were swatch matching against a digital image on a phone in poor light and I should have cut and run then. Dye was slapped on, that I knew was the wrong color, but I AM NOT THE PROFESSIONAL, so stupid me assumes it has to be started with one color and then others added. Because that can be done. I was a day from leaving town and had been assured several months ago by the owner that they would be able to help. I gave them a chance. I really wanted it to look good at the end. They knew it looked bad. I paid and just wanted to get out of there. Pretty sure it's my fault for having finer hair, and having had the blessing of going to salons in other places where there is no question they care about what they do, and arent just waiting to see how much the tip will be or if you want other services. But one of them said "You look cute." And I almost died laughing. So thanks for ending on a big punchline, salon. The owner left right as I sat down, then it seemed they cared even less. I was chastised for the screen brightness on my phone being too dim for one stylist to see my suggested style, would have using a complete sentence in a tone that doesnt make me want to leave cost me more? Apparently. I look like a circus clown now, the gray is still there in places, and now I have to spend twice at least to get this unruined. But I assumed they were colorists or at least stylists who had a creative sense. So fie on me. Expensive lesson.

To the rude comment I got from the very unprofessional owner of this salon. I am not the lady in question. Apparently you had chosen to turn her away, I on the other hand unfortunately had the displeasure of receiving your hairstylists terrible work. I left the salon with some sad excuse for layers and a style I did not ask for, and a hairstyles worth of money less in my pocket. I was a walk in, and communicated that all i wanted was an above shoulders length haircut with you and the hairstylist. Now befor you tell me that i should have communicated it further like you have with other customers that had left reviews, it is not my job to need to continually remind you of what I want. A simple haircut with a few inches off, left above shoulders length should not be hard to remember. If I didn't ask for layers, maybe don't give me them. From what I've seen through your reviews you hold yourself on a pretty high pedestal, with a great example of you feeling the need to gloat about your meaningless spot on some neighbourhood website ive fortunately never had the displeasure of hearing of. You also refuse criticism from anyone who gives it, Not only that but insulting past customers who are not pleased with your hairstylists hack jobs, and telling them they shouldnt have left a review if it was just going to be negative as if they dont deserve to voice their constructive criticism. This is not a respectable establishment at all. I have even had complaints from relatives of mine that they weren't allowed to just stand outside of the starbucks next door with their skateboards because you would shew them away over the intercom. All in all, this place is run by very disrespectful people, and by the way you handle the reviews you can add unprofessional as well. Have a nice day.

So a salon that makes men feel comfortable too? Well sign me up. Wife and I noticed this place is open now and decided to get our hair cut to try it out. After our first visit now, we couldn't be happier. Customer service was excellent, they give you a complimentary drink with service, the place looks clean and sanitized , and everyone was friendly and professional. They have some great service options to choose from and are competitively priced... A plain men's haircut is only 20 bucks and that's what supercuts charges now, so I'd way rather come here! Happy to feel like I'd love to come back and try other options. I've only got one pedicure in my life, which was a little awkward, but it's safe to say that I would feel comfortable trying it again at this place after seeing how nice their stations were! Especially when you can grab a beer and relax a bit...

I had my haircut today along with my husband. Frankly speaking, my haircut was not bad and am satisfied with it. But my husband dint like his cut at all and i see that he is hugely disappointed so he honestly posted his review to let others know of their quality. But this owner replied in a rude way to the review and then when my husband responded to his comment, he flagged it as inappropriate. I am attaching screenshot of his comment and this shows how this people are running their businesses with only positive reviews and flagging negative reviews. (To the owner if you gonna delete or flag this i have all the proof and would definitely take action on that). Sorry google doesn’t show the images attached. I will comment my husband’s review.

I told them my hair was darker than the desired color. (Medium/light brown to a burnt orange) I know it'll likely be a bit more than the $75 on the website but I get there's and she has a brown color already mix and seems shocked I needed bleach, thinking for a moment then quoting me $200. Because it "takes a long time" my hair hardly has to be raised to get the desired affect, you could even use weak developer. They didn't ask me any questions before springing an extra $130 on me. I was only going because I wanted to help with service before they closed but that was no good. If they could have just been more transparent regarding bleaching costs on the website this could have been avoided.

I specifically asked her not to touch the top part of my hair. I grew it out for a reason. I am not an outspoken person so it was very difficult to stop her as she did her work. At the end of the day I trust the hair stylist, but as she trimmed and trimmed, she paused once to ask if the length was good. I told her I wanted to keep it longer, she moved her fingers to the length I agreed to, then proceeded to ignore that measurement just to cut my hair into what she felt like. I am very displeased with this service and after one time coming here I will wholeheartedly tell you I will never come back. Happy Holidays, you ruined my Christmas photos.

This is more towards the customer service aspect of it. The gentleman at the front was very sweet and patient and accommodated me but the problem is that I was going for a pixie. Short pixie. The hairdresser insisted I pick a higher package that include hair washing otherwise I wouldn’t get the style I want—I get it my grandmother as a hairdresser is the same but there’s no style, I wanted to cut away my hair, and I’ve cut my hair dry by myself before. It’s nice and hospitable. If you like to collaborate with your hairdresser this is the place for you I think. If you’d like to be more independent this might not work too well for you.

My Son and Daughter n Law scheduled me for a pedi for my birthday. We walked in and I was greeted at the door by Mike, friendly, exuberant and great personality. We were offered an assortment of drink choices including wine. The pedi was relaxing and professional and just as they were finishing my sparkling toes, Mike began an amplified serenade of Happy BirthdayBelieve it or not, he can carry a tune! I was so impressed with the overall Star treatment, I booked an appointment for a mani the very next day and now I plan on going in for a haircut! I highly recommend this establishment bc ... who doesn't love being pampered!!!

Nina cannot do hair! I’m sorry I went for a couple highlights and left with a full on brown hair color! Even my previous highlights vanished into one big brown color mess. My hair looks worst than how I went in she charged me full price even though I told her she did not do what I asked for and I was not happy with the outcome. Save your money and go somewhere else. I should have known from the technique of how untidy she was foiling and putting the highlights which turned into a thorough brown color that she had no idea what she was doing. Worst hair salon I’ve ever been to I’m sry I wasted my time and my money stay away.

Uhh! Horrible haircut!! First things first, those nasty Asians (especially those with almond shaped eyes) need glasses so they can see better when they're trimming human hairs or their  cats. okay, so being a barber involves a lot of physical traits, including a little brain and a sissy ability. Because your squinty eyes seem to be impacting your ability to cut hair, you may start advertising "blind haircuts" as a new service. Obviously, I should not have expected high-quality someone whose pupils are small as their attention to detail. As much as you love your mushroom/bowl cuts, not everyone shares your taste. SMH!!

I have had good and bad experiences here. this last experience was bad however. My hair was long not its not and very overly thinned out she over used the thinning shears left with uneven wispy ends and the layerying is a joke.. I dont get it. I want it cut the same each time. I just want consistent Haircuts. I dont like that if I dont want a shampoo that I am forced to have a dry cut. Now it will not lay right!! I will NOT go back for a haircut. Now I have to wait for my hair to grow out to get the mess cleaned up!!! so unhappy!!!

Let me first off say it, i absolutely hate my haircut from here. I mean I thought it was going to go great because they were so friendly and nice and it was a clean salon, but I asked for a tiny trim and light, long layers. She cut it and it was fine and I said I think it's good now and she said I'll cut it more and this kept going until my hair was 5 inches off! Horrible. Will never go there again. Sorry but if you can't tell the difference between 1 inch and 5 inches then I'm out.

Needed a trim on vacation & saw His and Hers Hair Bar through the window while getting my morning coffee at Starbucks. Made an appt on over the phone. To my delight, Mike and Nina were so welcoming and she did a wonderful job. A hearty recommendation to anyone who wants a great haircut or nails done. They have a fantastic shop, proper COVID-19 safety protocols, and a wide variety of services for a reasonable price!

Went in as a walk in last week early. They didn't exactly make the 9:00 am opening time and apologized profusely to which I said, no problem. I received a great hair cut and blow out but like the previous person mentioned, the cut is so nice I don't have to blow it out. Thank you to the wonderful staff, very kind and gracious. My go to place while in the area Forever!

Just today, I had one haircut at this place, and I have a bad opinion about the lady who attended me. I explained how I wanted my haircut, and she did whatever she wants. That’s not a great idea, I paid for it... I know $20 it’s not too much but she have to be accesible and respect what the customer wants not what’s she wants. I’m feeling disappointed

I moved here 1 year ago searching for a new salon I got my fev one now.. This is my 3rd haircut from them. I did the highlight 1st time ,so wasn’t sure how it will look on my skin tone.. she helped me to pick the color… love it. I did a mistake about payment. They handled it so politely . My daughter cried for 1 hr after hair cut here because the lady kept pulling the hair so much that her scalp is red now. I made appointment here based on reviews on Nextdoor but I’m so disappointed of this type of service. My daughter has prom night tomorrow and this has totally spoilt her mood. This is mistreatment and abuse to customers

Love this place, they do good work and really make you feel at home. I walked in for only the second time and the manager says Goodmorning and addressed me by name! He either remembered my face or prepared for the mornimg by going over the appointment list. Either way, im impressed. And only 5 dollars for beard trimming.

Went there for the first time today and I couldnt be happier with my hair cut and root touch up! Nina did an awesome job!! I hadnt let anyone touch my hair in 4 years, so I was nervous, but Nina cut my long hair to the perfect length & matched my color perfectly!! Highly recommend this place!! Super nice staff!!

I had my hair cut, colored, highlights and nails filled. If I was just reviewing the color it would be 5 stars. Cut isn't great but worst was my nails. Paid $38 for a fill and it was really poorly done. There are lumps on my nails. I did better when i did it myself. Not in anyway worth the price i paid.

So upset with my service and subsequent treatment when I tried to get a refund I just filed a complaint with the BBB. ‘Nuff said. I asked for my gray hair to be blended with shades of blond and this is how I left. Pictures were taken the morning following my appointment.
