Hockley always go above and beyond to ensure top customer service and a 10/10 experience. Besides the fact I have used Hockley multiple times in the past, my latest visit was a little different. After a very negative and rude experience at a neighbouring jewellers who refused to resize my ring the same day even though they advised that if I arrive A.M it wouldn't be a problem, I arrived at 11:00am and it went from a 2/3 hour lead time to a 48 hour lead time. After feeling very disappointed after travelling to the Jewellery quarter on my only day off I decided to see if Hockley could help me out. Of course they could , despite their shop being busy as usual it was no problem for these guys, they even gave me an extra discount because I had to wait half an hour longer than first advised which really was not a problem to me as I was just glad that it was being done the same day. Thank you so much, my fiancé and I will most definitely be returning to purchase our wedding rings!!! Fantastic family run business.

Ordered an engagement ring from these people, with specific requests of an address to send too and they ignored it and instead shipped to my address where my girlfriend lives. You can't have a more careless mistake than that, even after they rang and confirmed it with me before sending. No one was in to receive the parcel and so is now in the back of a van for another night and I need to take a day off work. Useless! I will not be coming back for weddings bands. Response to reply: I DID provide it when I placed the order in store, and was reassured it was perfectly fine to have it shipped to the address I PROVIDED in store. I was never once told it was a problem to not want the ring delivered straight to your partner's front door, funny... You'd think it would be a common request. There is zero excuse for this mistake except carelessness. Another company that needs babysitting every step of the way. Shame because I had a great experience in store, but I have zero tolerance for blunders of this magnitude.

After perusing what felt like most of the shops in the jewellery quarter, we were not far off calling it a day. We popped into Hockley Jewellers to have a look around, but mostly to escape the rain. We were greeted by Mike - the super friendly, personable, knowledgeable and clearly passionate owner of the business. Mike knew what he was talking about. He listened to what we were after but actually knew even better than we did what we would eventually end up with. He was efficient whilst still making us feel like he was just there for us and ultimately, we left with 2 gorgeous wedding bands that are perfect for us. I don't even know where to start with writing this review! Myself and my partner randomly picked Hockley Jewellers as the first shop to look for our wedding rings! Well we were both blown away with the customer service we received from Mike and his Team. Right from walking in Mike put us at ease and already knew what we wanted and what would suit us best before we could even say. All I can say is thank you Mike for your help in picking out mine and my future husbands perfect rings and making me feel at ease with ring shopping. Omg where to even start, we had no idea what we were doing when we set out to choose our wedding bands and engagement ring (our wedding journey hasn’t been a traditional one ) we decided to head to the jewellery quarter for sentimental reasons, and stumbled in Hockley Jewellers, to be greeted by Angela and her warm welcome. She had all the knowledge we needed, without being pushy or salesy! With a little help from Mike and his magic wand, Hockley jewellers went above and beyond to enable us to take home our dream rings that day, with 3 shops and onsite jeweller they were able to re size, and inset our diamond of choice to the mount I’d fallen in love with! This was our second visit to Hockley Jewellers having purchased an engagement ring from here earlier this year and yet again I left here with another purchase made. This time with a pair of wedding rings Walked in and ended up chatting to Mike, who has a very relaxed approach to showing us then different styles of rings that they have and uses his many years experience to present what he thinks would go best with my partners engagement ring and the best style of ring to suit myself (which he got spot on) There is no pressure put on you to buy there and then and they also recommend a good watering hole to go and have a drink to talk things over. I’ll definitely come back here when I need to and highly recommend this jeweller for wedding and engagement rings

We were in Birmingham only for several days and visited Hockley Jewellers because my husband wanted to make me a present. We spent a lot of time there because I was looking for something interesting and when I found the ring it happened that the size was bigger than I needed, so we started discussing delivery options because it was our last day in England. A few minutes later we met the owner, the real professional and I already knew I could not leave the store without my ring. The jeweller made the ring of my size while we enjoyed our coffee in the nearest cafe. It was a unique customer experience and I highly recommend this place. We recently went to Mike at Hockleys jewelers to buy a ring We decided to have the ring made to exactly what we had wanted when we went into the store. Me and my partner visited to buy our wedding rings. From the moment we walked in the door we were welcomed and treated so well. The gentleman was knowledgable and really helped me decide on something within my budget. He was able to get an idea of our budget from looking at my engagement ring. Not once did he try and sell us something out of our price range. He took his time with us to make sure we had made the right decision. The atmosphere was wonderful and we felt completely at ease the whole time. I can not recommend these people enough. It’s an experience we will remember for the rest of our lives. Incredible service - Ernest Jones left me in big trouble by not ordering my wedding ring and telling me 3 days before my wedding. I was recommended to Hockley Jewellers before hand and I wish I had of come here to start with. Mike Senior dropped everything and made me a ring there on the spot and even engraved it for me whilst I went down the road for a pint. Mike Senior and his team are incredible I can not recommend them enough, Izzie and Angela were amazing in sizing my wedding ring finger and resizing the ring till it was perfect and even polished and reshaped my wife’s engagement ring for me. I owe them a lifetime of favours and I will be back.

Me and my husband popped in to see if they had any ankle chains for us to look at, Mike was on hand to help and what a wonderful experience we had. We had searched high and low to try and get a replica of a gold chain my Dad had 30 odd years ago. After almost resigned to the fact we wouldn’t find anything similar we drove down to the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham from Manchester for one last shot. After reading the reviews we tried Hockley Jewellers and were amazed by the selection of chains! The manager, Sandra, was really helpful and found a chain so close to what I wanted it almost brought a tear to my eye! Super friendly and couldn’t do enough help. Went here back in November 2021 to look at engagement rings and so glad I did! Fantastic service from start to finish from very knowledgeable staff. Went back at the beginning of 2023 for wedding rings and a personalised necklace for the wedding and the service was still first class. Complimentary ring shining for the engagement ring and even when the necklace design didn’t come back as we wanted (difference between our ideas and the artists ideas) they happily remade it within a few days. Incredibly happy with everything we’ve had and will be using Hockley Jewellers for the foreseeable future!

Last year via the nextdoor app liaised with Michael with reference to my engagement ring,18ct white gold and wanted platinum to match my wedding ring. We visited the shop, and was greeted by Michael, nothing was to much trouble, they sourced the exact same setting and band and put my diamond in from my original ring, I am over the moon. Having had a look in a few shops and some pretty hefty quotes we headed into Hockley Jewellers hoping for a better outcome and thats exactly what we got. Went looking around jewellery quarter for an engagement ring and bumped into a lot of people saying the same kind of things to me. However, when I went into Hockley I was met by Michael and he made a real effort to personalise his service to my needs and find out exactly what I was after down to every little detail including changing things to suit my budget. I left the shop after speaking to him and didn’t feel the need to look around anymore and I was pretty clueless a few shops before! Highly recommend the store and Michael as he is very knowledgable.

Hockley Jewellers is definitely the best jewellers in Birmingham. I have purchased from here three times now and they have always been very accommodating. This time, i went in to buy a bracelet, and Angela really took her time with me to help find the perfect one. She was very thorough in explaining the difference between each material, design, and what was more durable etc. Angela also allowed me to take my time in making a decision. My finance bought my engagement ring from here a year and half ago now and always said how good the service was. I went back yesterday to get my ring cleaned ready for our wedding in a weeks time. Mike greeted and served me and promised he would ensure my ring looked as good as new. It only took half an hour to fully clean and was amazed by the results. Not to mention the service is free! We also bought our wedding rings from here back in December and again had great service all the way through. Would highly recommend this shop to all!!

Selina was absolutely fantastic when we came to choose an engagement ring. We hadn't fallen in love with any of the rings on show and she was friendly, helpful but not pushy and very knowledgeable. She sourced a range of stones for us to choose from and helped us make the perfect ring. We felt so at ease that we then chose our wedding bands! Mike and the team were fantastic. Popped up to the Jewellery Quarter today needing a new bail for a pendant. Mike advised that I would be better to repar the existing one as it was fairly unusual and designed with the pendant and they could within the hour. It was a tad more expensive than I had expected but I went ahead and they did a fantastic job in the time specified. Also discussed some new balls while I was there and will definitely go back for these Great guys and I'll be sure to remember the Osbournes platter!

Being the right opposite the train station, Hockley Jewellers was the first jewellery store we went to during a trip to the Jewellery Quarter to purchase our wedding rings. The staff were very helpful in showing us range of options. The lady who served even wrote down prices so we could shop around but because of the great customer service we returned. They stored our rings until our wedding in July and even re-sized and re-plated my engagement ring for free. Would definately recommend and would return in the future

Me and my fiancée went into many shops in the jewellery quarter looking for our wedding bands and were glad we checked out this jewellers. We got served by Lynn who was extremely welcoming and friendly and she gave us so much advice which really help us both out. Beautiful shop and lovely staff all round. My fiancé purchased my engagement ring at Hockleys over a year ago and it needed resizing due to weight loss. I was told to come down to the store and it would be altered that day, we waited less than half hour and it was complete and at no extra charge. The ring fit perfectly and was like new again. Myself, Mom and Nan went to Hockley Jewellers today while browsing in the Jewellery Quarter for several items for us. The selection was brilliant and the staff went above and beyond, especially Angela, to help us find items within our budget and to our liking. Visited yesterday to purchase a wedding ring and to get a quote to have my engagement ring reset in platinum. We were served by Ann Marie who was very pleasant and helpful, showing me a variety of rings. Huge thanks to Matt ( possibly the manager) who came to talk to us about my engagement ring. He offered us a discounted price to reset it and polished it there and then free of charge! ( usually £60) He also offered to resize my new wedding ring free of charge. Great customer service! We got our wedding bands from Hockey Jewellers and had a great experience. We booked an appointment online which meant we didn't have to wait around at all. Sandra, the manager, was extremely helpful in showing us both the variety of styles and materials. Sandra wasn't pushy at all, focused purely on what was right for each of us. We chose there and then what we wanted. We were able to take a quick walk to Costa whilst the bands were adjusted to fit us perfectly. Great service, highly recommended.

Got served today by Angela and Lynn. We didn’t get there until they were closing at 4:30pm. They were more than happy to accommodate our needs and helped us design a custom necklace for my wife which had her nan’s wedding ring fitted to a chain. They even polished the ring that got attached to the necklace. Very professional service. My wife actually shed happy tears in the shop which got us all emotional. I cant thank all the staff enough for the class service.

Sue helped us chose our wedding bands, she was extremely knowledgeable and patient with us whilst we tried on different styles, we had already been a few months prior and had the same great service with another member of staff (cannot remember her name) which is the reason we returned and bought our bands today. Can’t recommend Hockley Jewellers enough. From the first initial meeting with Mike until receiving my bespoke ash memory ring for my grandad, everything has been perfect. You knew exactly what to do to suit my style and you listened to everything I wanted and gave the best advice, and suggesting adding my grandads handwriting on the inside of the ring really just tops it. Fabulous Jewellers ordered two platinum and diamond eternity rings. Sandra the manager of the store was so patient and helpful. We weren’t sure of what we wanted and tried several styles. Eventually settled on rings without being pushed at all. We are now in possessions of two stunning rings, were so please we also purchased another two rings whilst we were there. Cannot praise the store/ staff enough, I don’t think we would go anywhere else in the future.

Bought my mums 50th ring from Hockley Jewellers 2 years ago and loved it. More recently I have bought my wedding ear rings and necklace from here. Really helpful and friendly team, great quality jewelry and provided a valuation form for insurance. Whilst there I was supported by Angela but also other people (unfortunately I did not write their names down!) The whole team have been professional and helpful! Went to the Jewelary Quarter. With dozens of shops to choose from where do you start? 3rd or 4th we went in was Hockley Jewllers. Great shop layout wide choice [managed to get a 1966 Soverign my wife was after] friendly smiles all around. Sue who servered us was really friendly, helpful,knowledgable, professional and nothing was too much trouble.Ended up buying 4 of our 5 purchases from here . Highly recomended and now our go to jewelers from know on.

Amazing customer service today from Selina whilst shopping for wedding rings. We went in without an appointment and she took the time to show us both loads of choices and was very knowledgeable explaining the differences and what might suit us. We purchased an emerald and diamond ring with matching earrings to celebrate our 55th emerald wedding anniversary. We could not have asked for better service anywhere. Angela was superb and ultra professional in assisting us with the task! The ring required rebanding with 18ct gold which took one week and it was mailed securely to us. Just perfect! We will return to Hockley Jewellers for our 60th !!

My fiance purchased my engagement ring from here 3 years ago and as it's just a few weeks until our big day I popped in to get my ring re dipped and cleaned. Expecting to pay full price, obviously! Especially as chains charge £50+ and take weeks. They did it within 15 minutes and said as we bought my ring there initially, the clean and dip is a wedding gift to us. What amazing service! This is a fabulous jewellers. Louise looked after us really well, listened to our ideas and was very patient. Her colleague went to fetch stones from their other store to show us. Nothing was too much trouble. We felt we got a really good price. It was such a bonus to be able to have the rings sized and made up with the diamond of our choice within about an hour. Tina has been so helpful. She helped arrange a quick repair of my broken clasp and was extremely patient with me when I was buying a bangle and earrings. Having bought my engagement ring from them 3 years ago, I needed an insurance valuation to ensure my insurance policy is up to date. I contacted Hockley jewellers and spoke to Micheal. The best jewellers in jewellery quarter in my opinion. Anne Marie was so lovely in helping me choose my wedding ring and I had it designed for the perfect fit against my engagement ring. After horrible experiences with other jewellers, this shop was a breath of fresh air. I would highly reccomend, such a lovely experience.

This is my third visit to this jewellers and I can honestly say it’s the best jewellers in Hockley. Family run and always very helpful whether it’s a chain, ring ,earrings or repairs . Always prepared to give a discount. Not many jewellers have the owner working the counter . Cannot praise them enough brilliant .

We walked into many stores before stopping here, I was looking for a small dainty diamond necklace and he pulled out exactly what I wanted and showed me afew chains that would match, price was very decent as well compared to other shops! For years I have been searching for a neck chain to match a bracelet I have. Hockley didn’t have exactly what I wanted so they made it for me using the bracelet links as a template. Refreshing to find a jewellers rather than a retailer. Thank you to Sue and Lynne I couldn’t be more happy.
