"It has many blind shots"
"Something for every outdoorsy person! Great playground for the little ones, nice fields for the bigger kiddos, wonderful pavement trails for strollers and my favorite the rocky bike trail for the adventurous people!!! BUT with all of that I only spotted 1 porty potty which is questionable, I just hope there is more"
"It's a great place for kid's to play with a soft surface for safety! There is equipment for different ages, but probably preschool ages and up through maybe middle school age"
"It's amazing park"
"Nice old lady living there in the woods in an old cottage asked me if I wanted to come in for candy and cookies but I told her I was laying off added sugar"
It has many blind shots. Be prepared to shoot above your handicap. It is a challenging course, especially if it is wind. If you make a Tee Time with an third party, you cannot arrive early to play. Also, the greens are superb and fairways are watered, they are green, and they are narrow, well at least me they seem narrow.

It's a great place for kid's to play with a soft surface for safety! There is equipment for different ages, but probably preschool ages and up through maybe middle school age. There is a walking path all the way around and through it, so the adults can walk while the older kid's play, and you can still watch them.
It's amazing park.children will love it more because of the new park with so many options to play with and of course for people who love to walk in the trail before it' s so rocky but now it' s fully concrete if you want to walk in the nice and level path but there is a real trail if you want an adventure.
Nice old lady living there in the woods in an old cottage asked me if I wanted to come in for candy and cookies but I told her I was laying off added sugar. Walked a bit further and stumbled upon The Village from that M. Night Shyamalan movie. Saw some bison. Pretty typical walk in the park.
A lot of the park is under construction or in need of major repair. The parking lot is a mess and filled with impressive pot holes. The main walking trail I went on was well paved but had a couple of very large trees blocking the path and didn't wrap around back to the rest of the park.
Just wonderful got a chance to see a Bison cousin to Buffalo that was neat. Took plenty pics of 1800s town and different shops and buildings during that era would recommend to other tourist. Had a chance to ring school bell. I treated myself as a gift to me recent college graduate.
I don't like to frequent this park because it is geared more towards older kids and they have no respect or manners towards smaller children and the parents don't care. I have watched several kids get mowed over trying to go down the slide by kids running up the slide
I love the buildings and the buffalo. Great back drops with buildings for family pics. Very nice fence with fall leaves in the back ground. One of our favorite Easter egg hunting places to go not to mention the fun weekend activities they do once and awhile.
My grandson loved playing on the newer kid playsets here. I like that they spaced the equipment apart, so that there is plenty of room for all the kids (and parents) without stepping over each other like some of the other playgrounds tend to be.
This is a cool park. It has some old buildings. Some bison. Some chickens possibly. A big stage theater dome type thing. Lots of grass. A golf course. Everything you could ever want. Though not really a playground. So I guess not everything.
Such a great addition to our community. Turf throughout is nice, but I wonder how hot it will be to play on in the summer. It also has a huge pavilion with maybe 15 tables and some shaded benches. I like the fence around it and the walking
This is an awesome playground area for children up to 12. Toddlers can roam on a safe soft field and there are more swings than most places. Plenty of climbing apparatus for all the kids in the family. Zip line is fantastic. My 3 grandsons
This is a slice of history from the 1800's. I brought my kids here and now my grandkids also. I knew one of the people that rebuilt these houses when they came in needing to be built back from being deconstructed elsewhere. He loved doing
It was very child friendly. I just wish there was a place to barbecue and a splash park or water park. Also it would be nice if there was a water fountain or some type of water source. The children were asking for water after running and
I was actually at the RC field to the east of the Rugby field for National Model Aviation day. The Kansas City Northern Knights has operated he field there since the late 80s when I first became a member. We fly electric Conway and pylon
We absolutely love this playground. My one complaint is the bathroom situation. I thought by now they would have an actual bathroom facility. Yesterday the one Johnny on the spot they have was COVERED in pee. It was absolute disgusting.
This review is more for the walking and biking trail that runs through Hodge Park. Had a great ride through there on my bike today! Park is maintained quite well, every person I encountered was friendly, very rare these days. Please be
A nice, somewhat undiscovered Park. It has some walking trails around football fields and baseball diamonds. There aren't usually many people here, typically there are only four or five cars in the parking lot. There also aren't any
On a weekday this place is calm and fun. On the weekend it is crazy and fun. My 5yo loves the slide area. My only issue is that the “little kid” area is so separate so there is no way to watch big kids while playing with little kids.
Went here for the solar eclipse. Was one of the few areas where the overcast skies cleared up. Toured the historic buildings. Overall, an awesome fun time. I understand they have a call festival. We plan to go and check it out.
Outstanding recreational activities. There's a golf course, playground areas, hiking/biking trails, and a museum. I went for trails, and stayed for approximately four hours. I enjoyed it thoroughly. It's also dog friendly.
The field for the senior teams looked really good. Parking will be an issue if the soccer fields are in use at the same time. The junior field is lacking in width. Parking was adequate even with the Kids Park being used.
Beautiful park but the trash can up by the tables was over flowing with trash. I blame it on the people that visit the park more then the grounds keeper. If you see the trash is full please take it with you..
This is a great place to walk!! Take the dog. Play on the playground with the kids with artifical grass. The trails are great and wally along the river. Safe place to ride bikes too. Play Frisbee etc.
A beautiful place to go walking. Many trails. Open pavement trails and woodland trails. Marked very well. Also had a living museum in the park which was really cool as well. Loved this park.
Always have fun here. If your golf game is going bad this is the course to get you back on track wide open green could use some help. Fairways are in great shape. The price is just right.
Great walking trails, paved and natural. Make sure to wear old sneakers if planning to walk the natural trails. Extensive kids climbing, swinging playground with an area to picnic.
Always a nice park to go to and have fun with the kids. Plenty of climbing towers and activities for kids to play on even when it’s busy.
Great trail system and beautiful campus. Highly recommend during the fall and is a quick detour during a long road trip
Great park, however there are too many long confusing trails that get you lost. Found a morrel there tho!
It's a great park, but no place to pee.... It upset my 3 year granddaughter to pee behind a tree...
It was great day for a walk with my daughter and granddaughter it was 68° with a 10 MPH wind
Fantastic park! I'm glad I started biking because now I can appreciate the park more.
It's like a walk back through time. Great atmosphere and we'll preserved buildings.
