Home and hutch is very nice place....I love this store ........ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ This place is amazing you can buy everything...whatever you want..... The prices are reasonable..... And the staff are nice and friendly too .... They have so many options for party .... I recommend anyone to take a look at this place and you may find something useful and interesting....... Lots of trinkets, gifts, homewares, party supplies and so much more.... Plenty of parking spots available..... Disappointing customer service. I wanted to purchase number foils without helium, as we want them air filled instead, and was told that I would still need to pay for helium inflation if I wanted to purchase the balloon. I shop here all the time and often purchase balloons in store in inflated with no additional helium cost added. I understand things in lockdown are different but I don’t understand how or why this is necessary or in anyway ethical to charge a customer for helium which they don’t need or want. When I explained this to the lady on the phone she said “that’s how the boss has done it so that’s how it is maybe shop somewhere else”. Very poor management of the situation and treatment of customers who have been loyal to the store and small business.

Bought a 1000 fairy lights December 2016. Christmas 2017, before putting the lights up, I realised that, luckily, we had avoided a fire in our house as the lights had melted. Brought this to the attention of the assistant manager and told her, I didn't have the receipt but I could find the transaction on my bank statements. She said she would talk to the manager and asked me to come back. When I saw the manager for an answer, he was condescending. He was not interested in finding a resolution, he just thanked me to bring the problem to his attention.... refusing to consider any resolution as I didn't have the original receipt. It used to be my go to shop, not anymore... Beware of their Christmas lights.

Usually staff are very helpful. Today I had a very bad experience with checkout late afternoon. Was second in line to buy the staff member left the counter to go to the back of the line to ask customer last in line to go around to be served. When it was my turn I asked why she did that a she said she asked us to be served and her explanation was very rude in the way she said we weren’t listening . I am all for being patient with younger staff learning but loose the attitude. I am elderly and can't stand for long periods.

Disappointed in the customer service received today. I approached the balloon counter and the balloon lady was busily inflating many balloons, I didn’t get any recognition, I then began to ask her if a particular balloon was “gold” or “rose gold” (as colours may change when inflated). She responded back with “look at the picture” and kept going on with her work. I will never buy balloons from this place. Took my business to Big W next door, who happily gave me such great customer service.

This was my first time at Roni's and im definitely surprised and happy that i chose to have a look while i was at winston hills mall for BigW and BWS. They have a few items that aren't usually available at kmart target bigw etc for example food covering umbrella. And for some items that are available elsewhere, found the prices are lower too. Surely I recommend anyone to take a look at this place and you may find something useful and interesting.

I have been here a few times and always have a good experience. Customer service has been wonderful here. Recently a staff member called Georgie helped me through their range of balloon options for my son birthday party. My son loved his dinosaur balloon. Her kindness and positive attitude is why I love coming to this shop. Will always be shopping here!

Rude owner or manager Indian man. He was blaming us for the things on the floor and giving us sarcastic response for not picking it up. Things were already on the floor which he or staff should be looking after. Hope learns respecting customers. He was chasing my family and keeping an eye while we were shopping a bit disappointing judging us this way.

so much better than a standard variety store. So many unique and interesting things, if you are shopping for a particular thing such as Easter, Halloween, Christmas, they have a fantastic variety and all reasonably priced. The balloon center while I did not use looked fantastic and I will be trying out for the next birthday party.

Great customer service in particular from Rachel. I ordered balloons and had a balloon garland made which looked amazing. Rachel was very accommodating as we had to change the date of our party several times due to covid restrictions. Highly recommended home & hutch :)

New management is useless, never seem to know what they are doing and are constantly seen to rely on younger staff members to instruct them on what to do. It is obvious that they do not treat their workers with any respect.

Disgusting service from the male store manager. Asked to pay by card and responded patronisingly. Little did he know that my friend, a party planner, spends $100-200 per event. We will both be taking our business elsewhere.

Don’t buy helium balloons here. We did, and they started deflating the next day. Called and emailed pics to the store - with no response. A waste of money.

Staff were helpful when I wanted to exchange something. Maybe the store can be a big more spacious as I do find I am walking through a maze.

I have always found the Staff to be very polite and willing to serve. They also have a great range of craft items at low prices.

Please refrain from having your staff domestics in front of the customers. It's disrespectful and makes ppl feel uncomfortable.
