My husband who is a Hilton Diamond Member booked this location to celebrate our wedding anniversary primarily for their rooftop experience. When we arrived on Saturday, July 22, 2023 to our room we were greeted with an awful smell. It smelled like a doggies' daycare. We could barely walk fully into the room. We immediately walked back downstairs to let the front staff know that we were not pleased with the room. We waited for his lead and he then offered another room, I asked if we could view the room since the first room was not pleasant. He said he could not for health precautionary reasons, so to prevent us from dragging all of our luggage because they could not find a luggage cart to assist us as we had 4 large suitcases and two bookbags, back up to another room, we opted to leave the hotel. The young man said, it would be no problem. Not an apology, just that we wouldn't be charged. He specifically stated the charge would be reversed. After a few days my husband noticed that he was charged for the full stay. We phoned the location and was advised that they can reimbursed the money less one night stay because that's their policy. We informed them that the Rep did not say that we would be charged a night. We were then transferred to a Manager who stated that she would have to contact the Rep who serviced us to get his side of the story. She said to give her a few days before he returns to work. I informed her that it's unprofessional to hold a charge with a customer at the convenience of your employee and she stated that he works nights so he might be sleeping. I can not express the level of unprofessionalism and lack of service this location offered. The nicest person was the gentleman who worked the valet. My husband travels weekly and prefers to use Hilton locations but after this experience, maybe it's time to make another chain a preferred choice. Now we are at the mercy of waiting to hear back from the location regarding the charges. This is so wrong on so many levels!

** HIGH PROBABILITY OF THEFT PLZ READ ** The hotel itself is okay for the price, rooms are small but anyone who knows the concept of an express hotel would know this. The room was clean enough but our view was a brick wall. They do have a rooftop lounge which enhances the experience. HOWEVER the area is absolutely terrible. The hotel itself does not own a lot or garage on property so you’re limited to parking garages around the area that close at various parts of the night. We had to park in the public lot across from the hotel after coming back from a show and when we woke up, our car window was smashed in along with 7 other people in the lot. The closest 24 hour parking garage is three blocks away, and probably not the safest walk. If you know what’s good for you and your vehicle, choose a different hotel with their own parking so they can at least pull surveillance and potentially do something. A man mentioned that they (the thefts) do this every weekend?!?! But no one warns us lol.

This hotel was chosen based on the positive reviews on several sites, the proximity to what needed to do, the parking, and finally the cost. Other than the location this was a very disappointing stay. Upon arriving after a 14 hr drive, we were given a room that was an absolute mess, had no air conditioning and not been cleaned. We had to trek back to the front desk to inform them of this because the phone did not work. The staff member barely looked up from his screen while I was standing in front of him. When he looked up long enough, I informed him of the condition of the room. He said, "These damn people.". I said l, "Excuse me sir?" He didn't repeat his comment but asked if I wanted another room to. I said of course. The new room was in somewhat better working order, but only minimally. The breakfast was not very good either. Overall a poor experience. If considering this place, keep looking!

The staff here are so professional and guest focused. The level of care they provide to myself and other guest is a 10 out of 10. Shout out to Tee for being so professional and to the General Manager Chris Bryant for being hands-on and willing to help when needed. There was also a young lady who made the breakfast who heard a guest say she could eat the sandwich because it had cheese on it; she told the guest” i can make you one without cheese”. These things may seem small but as a guest its what makes them all stand out! Caring and Great customer service never get old and us paying customers appreciate it. P.S. the rooftop view was amazing

The room seemed clean for the most part but definitely mildew/mold in the shower along the track and caulking so it gives the impression they're not cleaning thoroughly. The iron was also damaged - the tip was broken and the hot surface was completely scratched. I've also never been to a hotel where guests cannot control the thermostat from the room, the staff controls it from downstairs. That might not be a big deal if they'd adjust it when we asked, but 4 requests went ignored until I went to the front desk and refused to walk away until they got up to do it. The staff was really friendly other than that and the valet guys were all great as well. No good views and it's not the best part of downtown but it's still downtown and convenient location.

Overall, this stay has been terrible. The staff have been kind and responsive in a bad situation, but the facilities are awful. The sofa bed sagged to the floor when my daughter laid in it. There were no sheets, blankets, or pillows to put on the sofa bed. The living room tv didn't work or have a remote, and when someone from housekeeping was kind enough to help, that remote didn't work either. We were greeted by a homeless man who tried to get my kid to give him money while I got bags out. The area was so loud, I am writing this at 1 am, because I am unable to sleep. All in all, it's terrible at a price that is 10x the amount we paid at a much nicer hilton hotel on the way down here. I wish we had stayed somewhere else.

Stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights. The staff was great, they were extremely helpful and well mannered. I have no complaints at all with the customer service. The hospitality was ultimately the best thing about the hotel because everything else was underwhelming. There was a couch in my room that was dirty and had spots all over it. The sheets had large holes in them, which was surprising for a Hilton. The gym downstairs had no water in the water dispenser which was annoying but the staff gave me water once I mentioned it. The worst thing was I asked for fresh towels THREE times and never got them. Twice over the phone and once when I went all the way up to the front desk and I still never received anything. I was ignored. I was excited to stay here but got disappointed quickly.

1 star is way too much! We had a reservation for a double bed room, when my family and I arrived the give us a room with only one queen bed!!! YES ONE BED! My two kids, husband and I took the elevator downstairs and spoke with the clerk and he told my husband that there was nothing he can do to accommodate us. I mean WHAT!?!?! We have stayed in Home2 suites before and never never ever had experienced something like this. Oh and that's not all... as soon as we walkout of the elevator towards our room it was a very strong marijana smell. We are not saints or some people against that but we honestly thought this was a family/kid friendly hotel. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!

Room was sufficient and the employees were helpful and quick to solve any issues. The breakfast was very good and dining area kept clean. Rooftop was nice and had a great view. Only issue is the bathroom doors are sliding doors that leave a large gap and you can clearly see into the bathroom even with the “door” closed. Meant that parts of my group had to leave the room so the others could shower modestly.

The hotel staff is very nice and helpful, but the location makes it very undesirable. Understand that there are urine stains at the front of the hotel and panhandlers all over the immediate area, including at the hotel entrance/exit. The room cleanliness was marginal and out bathroom had several broken tiles on the floor. Additionally the shower was very slippery and we needed buy purchase a non slip mat to keep from falling. All of which was brought up to hotel personnel. Very dissatisfied.

I wouldn't know how the rooms are at this hotel, because after arriving after midnight, we were informed that our room was oversold. We had no place to stay, no backup options offered, and this was a nonrefundable room on our end. My husband had to drive around downtown Atlanta hotels, looking for a new hotel. I resolutely do not recommend this hotel, simply because you may not have a room at all. You will have no warning either. I provided my email address and phone number at booking (almost two months in advance, mind you), yet no warnings were provided. Please choose another hotel, if you'd like to count on getting to your room!

My experience at this hotel was fantastic, with hospitality, friendliness, and attention from all staff at every moment of the stay. The rooms are fantastic, and the hotel infrastructure is very good, especially the dedication of everyone to ensure a pleasant experience. I highly recommend it. If I am ever in Atlanta again, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

Room was very dirty, especially the bathroom and kitchen area. There was hair, dust, and grime all in the shower and toilet. The HVAC system was also broken. It said “filter needs to be changed”. We also experienced a slow check-in as a lot of people were checking in and we arrived early, but that was resolved. We would have preferred to receive a call telling us that our room was ready ahead of time, rather than running back to the hotel as the room we booked was “first come, first serve”.

Close enough to Mercedes Benz and State Farm arena but prepare to have a dated room. You may have to clean after previous guests. Odd stain on pillow case, wrinkly sheets, an open show cap on a towel hanger, and the plates had caked on gunk. Dishes were in the dishwasher that I noticed on the last day, so I know the room was turned over with the quickness. I would not go out of my way to stay again, the Embassy is closer and nicer but was more expensive at time of purchase.

Would give ZERO STARS if I could. Unprofessional and extremely rude staff. The system was down at 4pm, which made check in with the incompetent front desk a nightmare. Trash greeted us at the room door and the room was tiny and dingy. Icing on the cake was the valet talking about HOW MANY PEOPLE GOT SHOT OUTSIDE THE NIGHT BEFORE. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT STAY HERE!

not the worst hotel i’ve ever been in, but all i’ll say is this… barnyard style doors to the bathroom? with a crack over an inch wide, and positioned so that you can easily see someone sitting on the toilet from one of the two beds? seriously?

Great location, doesn’t look like the pictures. Definitely in need of a refresh and renovation. The service is subpar. Room is clean… the shower is better. It’s within walking distance of most attractions and food spots so the location is five star, but as far as the room only 3. More
