I just left this dental office and had the most horrible experience with my 6 year old. Let's start by saying we went in a few days ago because my son was complaining of tooth pain. We scheduled the appt for today and was quoted one price to get there and find out the visit was $200 more. Thank God the office Manager Kristin was nice and was able to grant me the price I was quoted. She was very professional by the way. We were told the owner was supposed to do our sons procedure but he didn't. They sent a Dentist by the name of Dr.Kelley back. He was so rude, impatient, and got mad at my 6 year old son for being nervous about the process. He threw his instrument down, yelled and threw his hands up saying he's not going to be able to do it and that we need to send him to a Pediatric dentist. My son was whining a tad bit but not enough to yell and throw in the towel. When I asked for a refund he told me he's not sure about that in a very distasteful way. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. The owner was there and heard the confusion and not one time did he step in to intercede. Thank God for the ladies who showed compassion to my family and our 6 year old son on his birthday. Oh and I forgot to add we waited over a hour just to be called to the back!!

Went in for a cleaning as a new patient, but I won’t be going back. I apparently had the 1st appointment of the day and was ten minutes early to find the doors were still locked until a few minutes after my appointment was even supposed to begin. Finally after my scheduled appointment, I notice two employees in scrubs park in the closest parking spots to the office(in my opinion, this is very unprofessional. There are people that have difficulty walking and those spots should not be occupied all day by employees with no difficulties other than getting to work on time) My X-Rays had to be re-done due to them not using the proper equipment. I was given an oral inspection that lasted all but 2 minutes and was told I have 2 cavities that need to be filled and they would do them today. I declined because I didn’t trust that diagnosis. The cleaning itself took only ten minutes and was of very low quality. All of these good reviews have me very skeptical that they are posted for the free whitening as posted in this office... Overall, I waited 50 mins to get to the cleaning for a lousy 10 minute cleaning.

I am a medicare recipient meaning generally speaking my dental benefit is not too much. For the last 2 years, I have attempted to just get a general cleaning from a dentist on South Hulen. They wanted to charge me $2,000 in addition to what my insurance paid (FOR A CLEANING!!!). Well I didn't get anything done thinking I really had no coverage and wasted my benefit. This year I decided to check with HomeTown. I used to go here, but moved to the other side of town and so it was not convenient for me anymore. Anyway, not only did I get a cleaning, but they also performed 2 extractions that I needed done and also prepped a tooth for a crown that I need....all for under $1,000. I am very happy with the care I received.

I went to this location last week and dealt with Dr Wilson he was great and the staff was great so I referred my daughter to this location and the dentist that she saw told her she needs three teeth pulled when she's only having problems with one so we scheduled for 3 today and he started texting her telling her she had to be there by 2 that it's a difficult extraction he was more less saying he's ready to go home he didn't want to wait until 3 to do it. So she text him back and said he didn't sound too confident in his Dentistry practice and he text her back and said "I'm the best good luck to you" If he was the best it wouldn't be a difficult extraction

They were nice and patient with my (handicapped) sister and I, but I personally was not impressed with the services. Had conflicting information regarding scheduling. One worker Faye was quick and scheduled me immediately whereas the other workers said there was no availability until another month. Didn't have nice toothbrushes to give out after the visit. I wouldn't bring my kids here, not really kid friendly. Problems with the original work (fill) and ended up needing additional work (crown) on the same area with a few months. No real motivation to come back other than the convenience of location.((Shrug))

First time at this location I must say I'm very impressed with the service here.. first off the front office lady Cindy is simply amazing, super friendly and explains everything to the T... The friendly welcome she gives to you the conversations are always unpredictable makes u feel at home.The doctor is very very calm and friendly always willing to answer any questions you might have By far the best dental office I have been to in quite some time Will be coming back My assistant was super friendly and never felt rushed,prices are very reasonable and payment plan are available

The doctor was really good I would go back to him the staff not so friendly thou and not really good at their job. I was told if I got the discount program they offer with my insurance I wouldn't pay out of pocket but I still paid out of pocket not happy with that when one girl said I was covered and the other girl said I wasn't. They need to get their facts straight. Plus both times I went early and still had to wait a long time this last time I was there before the workers even were. But the doctor was good I was very calm while he worked in my mouth.

My wife and I are seniors and we have seen it all. So...well, we want everyone to know that Dr. Guram is just a great dentist! We are absolutely sold on him because he has performed several different procedures for both of us and it always turns out well. He really cares about doing really good work and does! For my wife and I, he has successfully performed root canals, crowned teeth, filled teeth, and even reattached a bridge another dentist put in many years ago. Dr. Guram can do it all..do it VERY well... and he makes the whole process enjoyable.

Great Doctors and staff! My family and I have been going to Hometown Dental for years.Everyone there is friendly and there is never a long wait to see a doctor. I've had a cavity filled, teeth cleaned and 3 wisdom teeth pulled by them in the last 10 years. They even made me a custom mouth guard because I train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA. I've tried other dental offices in the past but Hometown is the best. My kids aren't even scared to go there for a dental visit. They used to cry when we tried taking them to other places.

Dr Pooneh Najafi, is very passionate about the work that she does. She care deeply for her patient (me) . I am deeply anxious about having any dental work, she definitely caters to my needs. She assures me that I will be fine and she backs that up with her actions. I felt minimal discomfort . All of the staff members are so welcoming and nice. They all go far and beyond their job title to make you feel at ease. Making me feel at ease from the financial side to the actual procedural side. You guys are the BEST!

Had a toothache, came into the office and was seen in a timely manner. The employees were very nice, made me feel very comfortable because let’s be real who wants to go visit the Dentist. My experience here was great I recommend anyone that’s nervous or ashamed of their dental situation to come here! The Assistants made me feel like family more than just a patient. Thanks for the excellent customer service and not making me feel guilty for my years of negligence with my teeth!

If you have a toddler I don’t recommend coming here. Had an appointment at 2 wasn’t even seen at all. Left at 2:45 asking what time we would be seen. Come to find out they were calling my daughter their patient by her middle name and not her first name which I signed her in by her first name. Just a chaos and big confusion and headache. So crowded no where to sit..smallest waiting room ever. Disappointed..a 20 minutes check up turned into a 45 minutes waste of my time.

I was a little scared coming to my appointment but Bryan made me feel very comfortable while taking my X-rays. Dr.Guram was so nice and he explained everything very clearly and did an amazing job cleaning my teeth. Estella was so sweet making sure I was okay once the cleaning was done and Rosa was so helpful with explain the payment plans of everything. It’s safe to say they have an awesome team here and I’m kinda excited to come back! Thank you everyone so much!

Absolutely love coming here the ladies here are all so sweet especially Cindy, she is such a beautiful soul who brightens my day and is very friendly who also makes sure all patients are taken care of! I can really feel the positive energy radiating the whole office as I walk in, I never feel out of place I always feel as if I’m spending time with my own friends and the dental work is top tier I had the best deep cleaning here I have ever had in my life!!!

This place is horrible. The girls that work at the office cant seem to understand how to verify insurance. They tried to look mine up 4 times and failed. Even after i gave them the number the group number and even called the insurance myself. They lie to you and say they did one thing , then you show up and nothing is ready. So dont bother here find a dentist that has some competent office staff it will save you time and frustrations.

This is by far the friendliest establishment I have ever been to the doctor is just so knowledgeable and explains all procedure very well. The assistance are super friendly and answer any question u might have. And the fro t office are so funny I do recommend come out and giving this place a try you won't be disappointed Thank you Hometown for all your wonderful work keep up the best customer service

The HD @ Sycamore school Road location is hands down the best location! Me and my family had been going to a different location (closer to our home) until an unprofessional occurrence. But I called this location and received the best and most professional treatment from Cindy Navarro. She is amazing and set the tone for the office. Thank you Cindy for all of your help! We will be back soon.

Three of us went in there for cleaning and x-rays. I was told my teeth did not need to be cleaned, which I found very odd since it had been 3yrs since I've been to the dentist, my wife also did not get her teeth cleaned, during visit as promised. Staff was nice, but they should have at least made me feel my insurance was paying for something. Place felt like an underground lab.

They are very respectful once you are first time customer. During payment process, they are extremely liars. They said to me they can make 12 installments with my credit card. 3 weeks later, once crown was ready, I have to make full payment to have crown. That is ridicilous, I have to wait 1 more year to have that crown. I definitely do not recommend this liar dentist.

My daughter had work done for the very first time. She is only 4 years old but they made the experience very fast and painless for her. The RDA that was working with her was so sweet and gave her a Cinderella tooth brush that my daughter loves. That gesture really helped my daughter know she did a really good job in the chair. Highly recommended dental office!

Dr. Guram and his staff were very nice and helpful. Rosa at the front desk made me feel comfortable when I walked in the front door. Leilani his assistant made it easy for me not to feel no pain. Dr. Guram is good at what he do he knows his stuff an make your teeth look as new. It's easy and quick . You will not be disappointed when you leave

The dentist didn't believe I had pain he kept tapping other teeth to see if I was faking it. The 500$ porcelain cap I paid for that was supposed to last 10 years had just fallen out after a year. The entire time I've experienced pain. I think they do a bad job JUST so you have to come back and spend more money you don't have. :( in pain.

The doctor is amazing and very kind. Hes very gental and makes sure i know what hes going to do. The reseptionists and nurses dont rush to give all the options I have for appointment times and they always have the tv on for kids to keep them entertained. Theres hardly a wait time and am always welcomed with a smile.

My daughter usually hates the dentist. Our first visit with Dr.Guram was wonderful he was patient, and kind he explained the entire exam and procedure to us. This made both of us feel safe and relaxed on what was going to happen. I will recommend everyone to come see Dr.Guram it is worth every penny. …

We have been going here for 14 years, and always was a great experience with very nice staff. That was until Dr. Najafi came along. Don’t care for her bedside manner, and she gives root canals when they are not needed. If told by her that you need a root canal I would definitely get a second opinion!

I highly recommend this Dental Clinic! They are so professional, nice and educated since you open the door. Dr. Najaf and her team, Marcos & Rosa (at the front desk) as well as Cynthia (Dental Technician) treated me so well and made me feel very comfortable. Prices are fair and they do a great job!

Staff are very professional and friendly had a very good experience and my children loved the office my 3 yr old was very nervous but they played her favorite movie and made her feel comfortable Absolutely loved them would recommend to anyone!!! No long wait and the office is very clean.

SET AN APPOINTMENT WITH DR. NAJAFI! I haven’t gone to the dentist in a while due to a previous bad visit. Dr. Najafi was very kind and truly cared about helping me. As I am paying out of pocket, she worked with me to do what is necessary first. I will never go to another dentist again.

Very quick in getting an appointment I called and same week I was able to get my checkup done. You get friendly reminder emails for reminders. Staff is good and greets you when you walk in. I came last year and the doctor was great and went over all my findings and recommendations.

One of the reasons I've came here is because I've read the reviews, and the reviews were on point!! Thank God for Dr. Najaft, Victoria, and Nancy. They were extremely patient and nice. Therefore, I will be going back. I was very nervous and anxious and just being there it subsided.

This Dentist is the best...I went in with a wisdom tooth that needed to be pulled and they took care of me right off the back. I am now so relieved and feel like I can be myself again pain free. I shall return. I highly recommend this dentist...Great Dr Great staff....thanks again

I love coming to the dentist here. The Doctor is so nice and always makes sure I know what he's doing. When we came one Saturday at 1 because my little brother was in pain the doctor stayed late and did a root canal on him with no rush. I totally recommend this dentist office.

Customer service the best. Dr. Guram made me feel so comfortable. This is the best dentist office I have visited in my life (I have tried several). The best cleaning ever, I can't wait to come back to get my bridge done. I highly recommend him and the entire staff!!

Staff was very friendly. However, I waited for the doctor for too long. Staff said she hit traffic and was running late. She was in the back of the building on her cell phone. Very unprofessional. A little bit of honest communication would have been great.

When I have a tooth problem, they fix it. When I want a tooth out, its a smooth procedure, they will try to change your mind and give you options but your decision is respected. I hate going to the dentist, but I like coming here. 5 stars

Had an appt on Friday and they had quited me a price the month before. Due to some confusion I was told I would need to pay more.but I didnt because they followed their word. Dr. Canyon was amazing!!! Filled 4 fillings no numbing!

The staff and Dr. Najaf are awesome. She will do everything to save your permanent teeth. She will give you all the options that will fit your budget. They also offered a payment option. She is very talkative and funny also.

All went well as expected for an extraction. Later on when I went to get my script, I was told that it was called into another Pharmacy and that I could not get it until tomorrow. So that would be my only complaint.

The office is in a convenient location for me and my family. We enjoyed our visit. The doctor was polite and patient. And the staff explained what needed to be done in a way I was able to understand. I'll be back.
