I had brunch here on Sunday. This is by far the best place for value in Brooklyn. My wife and I had two coffees, a bacon and egg roll and a quiche (veg) with salad for under $29. The place was clean, however the outside of the building could use a hose down near the tables. Order at counter, served within 10 minutes. Various lunch and breakfast options catering to special dietary needs. Salad was dressed perfectly. Quiche was nice and light. Bacon and egg roll served on Turkish Bread, hot and fresh, two eggs, sauce and bacon for under $10. Would definitely go here again. 3.5 stars.

Terrific new place in Brooklyn. Very quick and friendly service. Coffee is the best. Our cappcucinos were hot and delicious. We didnt have any but the cakes, quiches and croissants looked very good. Bacon and egg rolls were running out the door. Menu is very well priced and there are some great gifts and cards. We will definitely be back and would certainly recommend it.

We dropped into Homers before and after our Houseboat holiday. My husband LOVED the pies. The coffee was delicious and the prices were very reasonable considering all the adds ons I get with my coffee. Great service by the busy staff and a gorgeous puppy to pat while we waited. Thank you!

We had a late breakfast before heading off to Danger Island. My wife had an omelette with mushrooms and I had eggs, bacon, tomato and mushrooms. Both meals were of generous proportions, tasty and satisfying. My cup of tea was surprisingly good, leaf tea served in a cast iron teapot. Stayed hot till the last drop. Price and service were both very good. Recommended.

Very friendly, relaxed non-fuss family business. Always very good food at great value prices. Away from the tourist strip so faster, friendlier service. Three generations of smart women, Gen 2 is experienced chef. Wilma the caboodle will sometimes curl up at your feet, or play fetch with you out the front. The locals' cafe. Highly recommend!

Food was okay. Service was terrible. 3 people there and took us 25 minutes to get a pie from the heated shelves and a cup of coffee. The coffee was only 2 sips with 3/4 being filled with froth. Tomato Sauce was offered in a bowl which was near impossible to put onto the pie. Remind me to never come again!

Tucked away in a little corner of Brooklyn just up from the pub. This cafe is an absolute delight, simple and friendly. The food, most of which is home made, is super yummy and very reasonably priced, the coffee is great too. We will be returning soon.

I tried the chicken burger and was disappointed although the Turkish bread was nice to much carrot and red onion with no cheese and no tomato makes for an interesting chicken flat bread for $15. The chocolate milkshake was worth the money

Homer’s Kitchen has good old fashioned hospitality! The food is delicious and the ladies serving are friendly and extremely helpful. It has lovely little gift wares for sale and an adorable fluffy fur baby to pat. I will definitely be visiting again! Thank you.

Great food, Great price! Running a small business is hard.... these guys take your order over the phone in advance so there's no waiting! The pies are delicious and I just experienced the massive and newly released Chicken Burger - try it..... Go team!

The sign said " Best Bacon & Egg Roll in town! " A bold claim even if it's the only B&E roll available in town. However it was excellent in both quality & generosity.

Got a couple coffees and a bacon and egg roll. People were lovely, roll was nice but could have used some cheese and the yolk made half of the roll soggy but perfect otherwise.

Try the steak sandwich ....a top "yum" experience for sure. The egg and bacon rolls are also very good and the Sunday roast is always excellent and very good value for $ as well.

  • David Hudson

Very very nice bacon & eggs. And a dog that is very very insistent that you play with her.

Customers are an afterthought. Food and fresh juice was very good, service was terrible (waitress forgot my order, didn't clean table, no water, forgot our coffee).

  • Michael Tickle

Definitely one of the best coffees on the central coast. If this place wasn't hidden away people would be lined up around the corner for their caffeine hit.

Pulled up for a coffee in the sun, seen the sign posting best bacon and egg roll in town and took on the review ! 10/10 and coffee and service backed it up.

Limited menu and no toilet, so not great for kids, especially when the pub next door is closed and you have to walk to the public toilets.
