I own a 2016 Audi Q5 and was referred to Homestead Elite Automotive to address a coolant leak. I dropped off my car for assessment, and the staff was pleasant during our interactions. After some time, they informed me that the required part wouldn't be available for several weeks and advised me to pick up my car. The next morning (Saturday), upon entering my car, I noticed several screws in my cup holder. Proceed to drive away and noticed a loud scraping sound underneath. Upon inspection, I discovered that they had removed the undercarriage cover but failed to replace it. Moreover, the other half was left loose, dragging beneath the car. Since it was a Saturday morning and the shop was closed, I contacted them and left a message but received no return call. In the rain, I had to improvise using tie clips I found in my car to reattach the other part of the undercarriage cover. The following Monday, I called, and they apologized, explaining that they had kept the undercarriage cover off to clean it and only made sense to hold onto it until the part to fix the coolant leak arrived. After over a month with no part in sight, I visited the shop to request my undercarriage cover. Unfortunately, they claimed they couldn't locate it and promised to call me the next day, but I never received a call. Today, I visited again to inquire about my undercarriage cover. They repeated the same story, took my number again, and assured me of a call by the end of the day. Regrettably, no call came. This lack of communication is unacceptable and incredibly frustrating. I plan to visit one last time on Monday when they open to request my undercarriage cover. If they fail to locate it, I have no choice but to report them to the Better Business Bureau and initiate the process of filing a claim in small claims court. I no longer have the trust in this company to work on my car and will make sure this will never happen to anyone again.

Homestead Automotive came to our rescue! While travelling from Brantford to Ottawa, we heard some noises coming from our car. We ended up speaking to Gord at Homestead who not only diagnosed our problem right away, but rearranged his schedule to accommodate us since we were so far from home. Gord even had his dad drive us to the nearest hotel. How's that for service! We were back on the road the following morning and feeling safe again. Thanks to Gord and his staff!

Had to get my tires swapped from winters to summers with storage, Gord was happy to help and prices right. He fit me in on the schedule and assessed and fixed another suspension and drive shaft issue I was having agian very responsible price and got it done fast that was key. I'm back to work. Gord and his team did a great job for me. My Mazda 3 had an ac problem. I had been to 2 different Mazda dealerships and they could Not figure the issue out, replaced pressure sensor and pcm, all worthless. Gord found the issue to be in one of the connectors and ac is working now.

Very happy with my service experience and Homestead. Honest, only fixes and replaces what needs to be fixed and replaced. Does not over charge and what needs to be fixed Homestead fixes well. Have come to this shop 3 times so far and will definitely be returning and recommending.
