"Small plaza but is awesome"
I've been seeing Dr Itoh since 2018 and refuse to see any other dentist while I'm living in LA. While he used to be conveniently located when I lived downtown I now live in Burbank but after a horrible experience with a local dentist I travel to specifically see him. He has placed one implant which the local dentist noted was perfect I just wish I could afford to have the majority of my molars removed and replaced with implants by him. As I'm leaving Los Angeles in the next 6 months this unfortunately won't happen but certainly any work I do require before leaving I will be having done by him alone
Parking is terrible but I don't drive. Leading the all star lineup in this plaza is Sushi Gen. Walk across after to the matcha shop for their soft serve. The Japanese Italian pasta have good lunch specials. Kinjiro can be pretentious and won't seat you without a reservation but it's one of the better izakaya options in the area. Kagaya have quality wagyu if you must boil your meat. Men-oh is not a bad ramen option despite the numerous options in the area. Aloha for Hawaiian breakfast. There's even a pharmacy as well as a post office with a grumpy worker.
Have recently enjoyed eating takeout for the first time from Men Oh, which specializes in Tokushima Ramen, an area in Japan famous for their quality pigs. Noodles are in a separate container so they don't get soggy. And from Aloha Cafe, ordered takeout salmon, a combo beef/chicken teriyaki plate lunch and saimin with extra veggies (noodles in a separate container). Nice substitute to going to Hawaii. Need to come back for Tous Les Jours Bakery goodies and Rafu Busan which has lots of Japanese gift items. Tea Master Cafe sounds interesting too.
I've noticed some reviews of this place are for the nearby Japanese Village Plaza. This is Honda Plaza, a much smaller plaza that is perhaps best known for being the home of Sushi Gen. Parking is paid (discount with validation) but even so, the lot often gets completely filled during peak hours. Aside from the generally excellent restaurants you can also find a pet groomer, pharmacy and post office. You won't find any anime shops here, those are at the near by Japanese Village Plaza.
Small plaza but is awesome. They added a platio for restaurants and bars so people can enjoy themselves. It gets busy through out the day and is steps away from little tokyo plaza. Also right across the street is Angel city brewery, which is located in The Arts district. Have yet to see another place where the patio is a decent size as this one. Friday and Saturday night are fun here.
Absolutely delicious ramen. Their black garlic ramen has a very good flavor, just rich enough without overwhelming. Their spicy ramen (picture) is just spicy enough if you enjoy spicy food. Mix a little bit of both broths and OMG -incredible flavor. Will definitely go back. Add the pork belly to your ramen, totally worth it.
Picked up RX at Little Tokyo Pharmacy, staff is always available right away, efficient, friendly, very knowledgeable and a pleasure to be served by, I recommend this business to everyone, parking is validated and always available at Honda plaza.
Start a few years ago when it was empty suddenly a lot or people came by to enjoy Saturdays evenings and the food getting better and the price it's right you will fine anything from Japan Korea and tiguan things go check for yourself and enjoy
There are very many delicious restaurants. Japanese Italian restaurant, Raman restaurant, sushi restaurant, Thai tea, Korean fried chicken restaurant, Korean style bakery, and etc. And free parking space in little Tokyo. Very nice spot.
My daughter turned into a trooper. She did not permit the "torture chamber" aspect of the ear piercing get her down. She had loads of fun buying and just being in the store and looking at the whole lot and ingesting within the cafe.
Great spot in little tokyo. Has one of the best Sushi restaurants I've been to in LA! Sushi Gen. There is also a gorgeous tea shop that has ceremonial grade matcha. And a ceramic store. And a beauty shop.
I read so much about the Aloha Cafe and guess what? I was very disappointed, Ono Hawaiian BBQ was more authentic Hawaiian food. They should take the word aloha out of their name for the restaurant.
Owners of the stores are very rude. They don't help you even if they see you struggling. Specially the owner of the pharmacy. Just rude, rude people, disapointing how people can still be so evil.
This place charges u 3 dollars even if you accidentally come inside and just exit right out. The cashier also treats you like a thief if you ask basic questions about what your options are.
Not much in terms of curb appeal, but it does have a solid ramen restaurant and a great bar amongst other establishments. Never had to park here since I normally Lyft to downtown.
Allways being a good place to visit, but this time we run into a lot of homeless people insulting us, begging for money,we don't know until when we coming back.....!!!!
Good outdoor area where you can enjoy drinks and food. Went here on Saturday night and it was pretty busy. The server brought our food and drinks out fairly quickly.
Good. But there are homeless who live next to the restaurants. They will try to get money from you and harass you. Nothing will ever be done about that.
A gem of great shops ! Want an ice cream? Want a great pasta? Want a great pasty? Want a great jeweler? The best dead in sushi go see the lines!!
$10 flat rate parking and no validation. No wonder it was empty. And the parking attendant was extremely rude. we went somewhere else.
The cashier of the parking has attitude, impatient, rude! And charge you even you accidentally drive in the plaza. That’s ridiculous!
Haven't been here in years. Went to a chiropractor's appt. Businesses seem to slowly be reopening. Lots of positive energy.
Parking is free but not enough So you will have to park on a street sometimes so learn to read the parking
Many good Japanese restaurants and shops in the area, however, some roads are closed due to construction.
I only come here for the parking and walk to arts district to drink. Lol Or little Tokyo to shop
Little Tokyo Market, an awesome place to buy sushi stuff and other Japanese delicacies.
Restaurants. Asian fare. Paid Parking but validation available, shortage of parking
Great sushi options inside at Little Tokyo Sushi and other food options throughout.
Walking around the Tokyo Japanese Sushi restaurants, yummy delicious foods, drinks
ARTS DISTRICT ON ONE SIDE AND LITTLE TOYKO ON THE OTHER. Not much in Honda Plaza.
A few good restaurant options, not terribly expensive for parking for the area.
Starbucks at the Honda Plaza Is clean and very busy from opening until closing.
There are a lot of restaurants in a variety of menus, especially Korean menus.
There's some pretty good places to try out here but parking might be tricky.
Tons of shops to visit and eat at. A good place to explore a bit of K-town.
I went there to shop cars ended up no cars for sales there. What a bummer!
Amazing #shopping and #eatery #spot for #MeetUps and #Children #PlayDates
Great restaurants for a little square. Don't park there. Scooter or walk.
$5 to park on weekends for parking/traffic control. Pasta place was nice.
Good parking for Sushi Gen, Tous Les Jours Bakery, BBQ Fried Chicken ...
Man oh ramen. Go there and order soy ramen bowl and fried chicken.
The restaurants are great but parking is really really difficult.
Always Friendly service with a smile!!! I recommend this place☺
I always come here for Japanese food. Honda Plaza's the best!
the bbq chicken place was great, but otherwise nooo parking.
Lots of parking and nice shops to dine at and have a snack
Part of an integral area of los angeles, cherished ground
Great Japanese food can be had at the various eateries.
Looked interesting, but didn't have time to check out.
Great shop we found bowl here, but had to pay to park.
Love The Pasta Japanese infused Restaurant at the End.
I ate at Aloha Hawaiian and the food was fantastic!
Parking is a bit hard since it's in a popular zone
Great food selections here. Parking is $5 in cash
