"Food was way over priced for what it was"
"Came in to grab a take out lunch"
"Wasn't sure what to expect and was simply blown away"
"This place is right in the middle of USC village"
"They're crispy chicken sandwich was good, nothing to excellent but still had enough flavor to satisfy me for the day"
Food was way over priced for what it was. They ask for a tip on take out orders. Charge extra for ranch dressing etc. On top of that, the cashier talks like she’s in the hood and not working and representing a company. They also forgot my order and I came back for it, didn’t get an apology. They need to lesson on how to run a business. More
Came in to grab a take out lunch. Ordered 2 piece combo with chipotle macaroni and cheese and the coleslaw (~11$). The chicken was very tasty while still Being crispy. Definitely better than what you might get at KFC or Ralph’s. Mac and cheese was bomb and adequately spicy. Coleslaw was very rich. Would come back.
Wasn't sure what to expect and was simply blown away. Every single part of the meal was delicious. Chicken was very flavor, waffle fries had a fresh taste to it, mashed potatoes were very tasty, and biscuit were definitely an expected surprise. There was no lull in the meal and every single items shined.
This place is right in the middle of USC village. Seating is very limited but the staff is very efficient in getting customers through the line with their food orders. My favorite is the Fire bird chicken sandwich pictured below. Waffle fries are separate or sold in a combo.
They're crispy chicken sandwich was good, nothing to excellent but still had enough flavor to satisfy me for the day. The chicken sandwich had coleslaw, tomatoes, this orange sauce, and pickles. I also had a side of fries which were extremely crunchy and well-seasoned.
OMG. Must try their fire bird chicken sandwich. Mac and cheese was so delicious along with their slaw. But if you’re gonna try one thing along with your fire bird sandwich. It’s the honey butter dip with their biscuits. I died and left a new man.
The menu does not specify the ingredients of the meal, for example the BBQ chicken salad has bacon in, and it some people don't eat that due to religious restrictions. Add that to avoid confusion, there are lots of Jews and Muslims in USC.
ATTENTION!! I really hoped this $16.97 bagel would come double sided, or AT LEAST have fresh ingredients. But no, I got an acid smelling bagel with the most unappetizing sliver of disgusting grayish farmed salmon. Garbage it was literally
I've come here a few times. I've had the chicken and waffles, the combo meal and the spicy chicken sandwich. All of them were delicious, crispy, and juicy, but I think my favorite was definitely the sandwich. I also got a side of Mac n
Amazing flavor when it comes to there chicken, uhh wow collared greens with bacon, also there bacon and chives biscuit is so good i had to by more then one. Lets not also for get the amazing home made pies, like banana pie, orange pie,
Chicken seasoning was good, the chicken was not cooked all the way through, pink/blood inside so I could not finish it. They charge 50 cents extra for the sauces. The ranch was good, the comeback sauce was too tart for my liking. The
Great place for a lunch between classes or just to hang out with friends. Entrees are slightly overpriced but the waffle fries are delicious and can definitely be ordered for a quick snack. The sweet tea was slightly bitter. More
Awesome chicken sandwiches and mac and cheese. I will say they have a great staff. Seen someone get angry at staff for something small and staff kept there cool and adressed it quickly. More
First of the area it’s in is just beautiful, the food was amazing. Very clean location, lots of options, and the price is reasonable. I would highly recommend and would eat here again. More
Chicken was undercooked on the inside, had ordered 2 of the firebird sandwiches, was fine on the outer edges but once I got to the inner middle of the chicken, it was 100% undercooked More
Can't speak for the other items on the menu since I almost always get the Firebird chicken sandwich here, but IT'S JUST THAT GOOD. Plus fries, you can't forget the fries.
i had high hopes but it was kinda meh. i dunno. maybe i got the wrong thing but i got about halfway through and it was obvious the chicken wasn’t fully cooked.
Food taste like it was reheated and reserve , fries cold and hard chicken taste plain But yeah I guess the collard greens where just warm but taste good More
Asked me what my religion was in my interview a few years back. Made me feel uncomfortable and put off. The food is not good either. Ugh my stomach hurts.
I really like the honey bird sandwich but $15+ for fast food like this feels a bit expensive. I would give a 5 star if it's like $3~4 cheaper. More
first time here, food was great and fresh, chicken n waffles was the bomb and the nashville potatoe salad had a nice kick. will definitely be back!
Amazing chicken sandwiches. Firebird is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. This place crushes Chick-fil-A and you can eat here guilt free.
Very solid food. Pretty greasy, but hey, it's fried chicken so what can you really expect. I like their sides, especially the mashed potatoes.
Food was very good, BUT one of the people in the kitchen was not wearing a mask. We threw most of the food out out of caution of Covid-19
Incredibly good spot to hit for extremely good fried chicken, and the overall aesthetic and atmosphere and service was fantastic. More
Update: I think their chicken sandwiches got better here. It was spectacular. My boy loved the wagfle fries and grilled cheese.
I love Honeybird, love there sides, especially the Collard Greens, they also have fabulous desserts lil pricey but good!
Chicken is absolutely delicious. I can not find any place that has the phenomenal taste of Honeybird's chicken. More
The chicken was too fatty, I couldn’t even finish it. Pretty much spent $20 for fries and a drink
