Tonight, December 16 2020, was our first time ordering from Hong's Asian Kitchen and can honestly say, we're very impressed. There was a mix up with our order which is easily done when busy, but Shaun fixed it immediately. We ordered Mongolian Beef which was so fresh and delicious. We also had the main combo which was a very generous serve with a great balance of meat and veg. Sweet and sour pork and satay skewers were very much enjoyed by our young children. The fried rice and Singapore noodle is awesome. Our only complaint is, the sesame prawn toast was slightly undercooked and the fried dim sims are steamed first so you don't get the crunch of a fried dim sim. Other than that we are definitely happy and will order from there again. Thank you to Shaun for excellent service.

As my partner grew up in Springvale, she has found it hard to find any Asian cuisine in the area that she enjoys or measures up to what she grew up eating. After most meals she says “not as good as Springvale”. We had the lemon chicken which was fantastic not too oily or doughy like I’ve had at other places. My partner said she actually thought the noodles she had were not bad which is a good sign from her. Her only comment was her noodles were a bit dry and could use more sauce but that’s the best I’ve heard her say about any of the Asian food around Carrum Downs. The service was friendly too which was good. Will be back for that lemon chicken for sure.

We have just had take out for the first time, photos looked OK, store looked a tad grubby but we weren't thrown off and the menu seemed good, only takes cash which is fine, crab claw is actually 4 tiny frozen tasteless deep fried mess the sauce appeared to have a dead daddy long legs spider in it, chicken and sweet corn soup was a bright dark yellow and no taste, by the time we pushed that aside and opened the gluggy Singapore noodles we felt sick and through $32 down the drain and ordered a pizza. I'm concerened and am actually going to report them to the health dept!

I wandered in with two friends on a Friday night, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. We ordered the spring rolls, chicken bao, popcorn chicken and singapore noodles. Everything was cooked to order and very quick. Popcorn chicken was the highlight - super crunchy and the dipping sauce went perfectly with it. The spring rolls were like none other that I've had before, and I've tried a lot. The flavour combo was spot on. Extremely satisfied with our meal here, and looking forward to make this our regular

This has to be the best Chinese take away shop I have ever tried . Their fried rice is just like one that you get in a Chinese restaurant in chinatown .. traditional and delicious. Their service is impeccable and I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone :)

Very impressed with the quality of ingredients, speed at which the food was made and flavours. Presentation was as good as take away could be and Ill be going back. Upper end of this cusine price wise but if the quality is this good, pay the $2 extra for the main and you will not be sorry. Well done guys, keep up the high standards. *there is no delivery opposed to what Google suggests.

First time take out at this venue. Seeking a replacement chinese takeout from Kwongs in Frankston North who closed 12 months ago . After trying many different shops around Frankston, we have found Hongs to be a place which is ALMOST an equivalent. Recognizing it is a different business Hong's has found a new customer hereon with food that was excellent!.

Recently moved into the area and coming from Clayton I was looking for some good asian food. Came across this place and was amazed by the food and service they provided. Shuan the manager was helpful and suggested the spring rolls and Szechuan main. I got both and the mi goreng, all had great flavours and cooked fresh to order. Friendly bunch working there definitely coming back again.

The wife and I have eaten here twice now trying trying 4 different dishes between us. The food is so tasty. The explosion of flavors is really intense and that is something I haven't experienced in any take away food for quite some time. Quality, fresh ingredients, made and cooked with passion it seems. Make this your go to place for Asian cuisine. You won't be disappointed

Had to feed 8 people hongs were fast and quick great service as well as great food !! The Char kway teow is to die for thank you some much guys will definitely be back next time !!

Wow After stalking them for 3 weeks, i am soooo glad we came It looks very unassuming, from outside, but once u get ur food, u will be amazed. We had 2 fried rice, 2 serves of dumplings, 1 pop corn chicken and 1 mi goreng, between my 3 babies and i, and they were fantastic. The best Me Goreng i have tasted, im years ❤ ❤❤❤❤

Ordered a meat lover's noodle soup & substituted out prawns for another meat, after agreeing on the price went and got the money out came back and got charged even more..?? He said as i assume bad things in his native lounge and I left..not a good experience at all, not surprisingly it was 70% vegetables and was really under cooked..

ordered my favourite curry laksa soup before I realised the new owners had taken over, and it was disgusting. the old owners were a lot better. I couldn't even finish my meal that the new owners had given me because it was that bad. if they produced the meals half as good as the previous owners did then id consider going again.

Our first time ordering takeaway from this joint today and we will definitely be back more often our meals were tasty, we’ll cooked and great portion sizes…we ordered while it was busy and the staff cooking up a storm we received our meals promptly within 15 mins…can’t go wrong too with the massive spring rolls for $5.50

One of the worst Asian places I've ever eaten at. Decided to try it because the reviews are pretty good. Was truly disappointing. The worst Sweet & Sour pork ever. Sauce and deep fried donut ball things are separate. No seasoning at all. Not worth the money. 17 dollars for this?!

I've been looking for a local Chinese restaurant and decided to give Hong's Asian Kitchen a try. Wasn't too sure on what to order and the manager, Shaun suggested the chicken cashew. It was absolutely fantastic! Friendly staff and I'm looking forwards to trying the other dishes

My wife and I have been coming here regularly since moving into the area, absolutely love the food and how accommodating and friendly Shuan and his team are. Can't wait to keep working my way through everything on the menu

Food was really great! We had the fried rice, combination main, pork dumplings, dim sums and spring rolls. Fried rice some of the best I’ve had lately. The only negative really was that 3 spring rolls no bigger than your thumb were $5. Will order again for sure.

Simply amazing food. This is the best in this area by far. We ordered a selection of dishes for pickup. They were ready quickly very well prepared and cooked and delicious and cheap. What more could you ask for? We'll certainly back again and again and again.

I lived in the CBD for 20 years and this place is the closest i’ve found since living on this side of town. Food was delicious and the service was great. Will absolutely be back!

A hidden gem. Service is great with cheerful and friendly staff. Food comes fast. The menu lacks the variety of the usual Asian restaurant in the area but it makes up for it in quality. Do yourself a favour and come here; you won't be disappointed.
