The bartender on the first floor at the end of the bar was extremely rude after I asked for my 2nd drink of the night. Very unprofessional and very inconsiderate after I asked if I could get my 2nd drink of the night and eventually just ignored me. If she’s there every night I want no part of this place. If you want great service and people, every other restaurant/bar on Broadway is so much better than Honky Tonk. I just couldn’t believe the service from the bartender on the first floor at the end of the bar on the first floor on the night of June 16th. And she proceeded to make very rude remarks about me when I was around just saying that I was trying to get another drink in a rude way to her coworkers around me and thought I was being unreasonable when I asked once for the drink. Overall if you want to have a amazing time on Broadway as a tourists or even resident I do not recommend this bar when there are so many better ones with great service and people.

The whole street breathes crazy. The restaurants, bars and the live music scene in almost all the pubs is crazy. The vibe is electric and it charges you for a few fun filled hours. The staff is most of the restaurants were great and the crowd was pretty cool. They have small balconies that offer a great view of Broadway and the city. We had a pretty good time for a mid-week visit but since it was St. Patrick’s Day, we were greeted at every 5 stops.

This place is always hoppin' on Broadway. With three stories of great music, each level different, you can't go wrong... Not to mention the building offers great views of Broadway! Come for the view, stay for the awesome music. Drinks are a bit pricey (but they don't skimp on alcohol), the bathroom lines usually take forever, and sometimes it can be so crowded on the first floor that you can hardly make it to the stairs to go up to the top floor. If you're lucky enough to catch the band, "The Third Wheel", you know it'll be a good night! They are a great mix of country, rock, a little punk, and pop... So no need to worry about being stuck only listening to country while on Broadway. All in all, Honky Tonk Central is a must on your Nashville to-do list.
My friends and I had our VALID IDs rudely denied here while visiting Nashville for my 21st birthday. The bouncer took one look at our IDs and said “he was not comfortable” with our IDs. We offered to show second forms of ID, asked if they had a scanner and even told them they could show our IDs to the cop on the corner but the bouncer would not even give us a chance. We asked him if he could at least explain his reasoning but he would not. Meanwhile, everyone else on line who appeared to be around our age was let in or given the chance to show a second form of ID. This was extremely upsetting to have such a frustrating experience on a trip that we’ve spent so much money on and have been looking forward to.

They do not care about female safety. I am female and was with one other friend who was female when they closed the door for closing time. I was in the stairway when they did this. The two bouncers on the middle level would not let me back in. I tried to explain to them my friend was with a group of men we did not know and we were the only two people together. They did not care. At all. I proceeded to wait outside for over a half hour trying to get my friend out and asking them to either let me in or go in to bring her out. They cared more about not letting people in a door after a certain time than letting a woman be by herself at a bar with men she does not know. I have a voicemail for proof.

First time ever to Nashville Tennessee, my wife is a huge country music fan so I googled places and came upon Honky Tonk Central. I myself am not into country music. However... coming here, listening to the live performances, watching this live and fun crowd, eating this amazing food, enjoying their amazing customer service here. I am definitely not totally against country music now lol. This place is amazing!!! It’s so much fun, it’s an amazing atmosphere. Wow!!! Mind blown!!! Highly recommend this great place if you’re ever in Nashville. If I ever comeback I’m staying at the Hilton next door and I’m eating and getting smashed so I can truly experience the whole fun experience of this place and wonderful city.
I love HTC. All the bartenders are fantastic. Teal, Brittany, Afton, all of them are the best. If you get the nachos loaded with pork I suggest two people eat it. It’s a meal for two but it’s delicious. The bands on 1st floor are a mix of country and rock and they are open later than any other bar. Last call at 2:45, they play one song and done. Everybody out by three.

I was here for a convention for work and my company held a private event here on the second floor. Apparently, there is a third floor as well although I never went up there. The second floor where we had our event had plenty of room for our guests to spread out and not feel crowded. The views of Honky Tonk Row were great. The service was phenomenal as well. The bartenders and servers went out of their way to accommodate our over 150 guests. The food was delicious and the drinks were tasty as well Not to mention that there was a live band there to perform as well. You couldn't really ask for more from this establishment.
Worst experience ever, when I first came everything looked great but after ordering 2 drinks for me and my wife I found out that the waitress’s charged me 21 dollar’s instead of 12 in cash. not a mistake you can make by accident.. the only reason I found out was when I told my friends that the drinks are expensive here in the Honky Tonk and he noticed that she probably felt really comfortable cheating me as I’m a tourist.. be careful when you order your drinks not a comfortable feeling at all .. after my friends talked with her she gave us the money back.. So watch out when you go there and always check the price before
I went here with my wife during CMA Fest. the place was packed of course and they had bands playing on all three levels which was pretty cool. We sat on level 3 facing Broadway so we got a pretty cool view of everything going on. The food here is average bar food nothing too special. We got the appetizer sampler platter and it was all right. Lots of nacho chips but you had to pay for extra salsa. The southwest chicken egg roll was probably the best part of the appetizer sampler. The service was pretty good. Overall an okay place to go but definitely nothing to go out of your way to get to.
On two separate occasions we were removed from the bar by the same bouncer for having what were deemed fake ID’s (they were passports), even though every other bouncer had no issue with them and our passports even had our VISA’s printed on our passports. I understand people use fake IDs but not passports. We are tourists from Ireland so really annoyed at the supposed level of hospitality. Even the other bouncers told us that this one bouncer was always doing this, and told us to come back the next day when he wasn’t working.

This is a good place to use cash by the order and enjoy music. This is a three level venue offering a different band on each level with no cover charge at the time I'm writing this. The drinks are pricey as like every venue on Broadway. Pay cash, don't open tabs, I say this because when you feel like jumping floors you can do so without having to worry about closing a tab, or if you're having a REALLY good time, not being able to remember which floor you got your drinks on. Enjoy the blue collar feel, the good music and the balcony view!
Atmosphere is nice having live bands but bar an wait staff is clueless on how to accurately take orders when I asked for a angry orchard only to get a blue moon and a attitude of hey dude what’s the problem attitude and ordering food only to forget the nachos I ordered so sure the atmosphere is nice but it’s your call if you want it w mediocre survive and price food and drinks you didn’t want or never receive

Awesome Atmosphere! First time in Nashville. Brought my teenager to enjoy some Good Food and Amazing Music! HTC did not disappoint. Staff was awesome from the front door to the waitress. I'm sure it kicks up at night but the afternoon scene was Clean, Fun and Rockin. 5 Stars all around.

It’s the ghetto of country bars. Security hovering over you always as if the bar isn’t already overcrowded and violating Fire Marshall codes. Oh and don’t stumble cause then they will think you’re super intoxicated and make a scene while throwing you out the bar common sense says, slippery floor gives someone the ability to potentially slip maybe I should just sue next time. 10/10 do not recommend going to this bar. Find another bar to enjoy a drink and have fun.
Like all Nashville bars, there is entertainment from opening to closing. We spent the afternoon at the Honky Tonk and had a great time. They had a killer band and served some great appetizers. Our server, Angela J, kept the house in order as she seamlessly navigated our party of 8 with no bill confusion. It expensive, you're going to spend a ton of money, but it was fun!

Hip massive bar serving some great whisky with groovy tunes and three different floors. Honky Tonk Central welcomes all walks of life for great drinks, great crowds, and great music. Special shout out to one of the best bands, Carolina Company for their stellar performance. Public parking garages for a fee surrounding the Broadway Ave area amongst other hip bars. You will leave this bar awakened by the crowd, music, and drink. Respectable prices!
Got kicked out for using the men's restroom, as a man. No shenanigans. Walked in. kindly asked the janitor/attendant ( a female,) to exit so i can use the restroom. She told me no. I asked again and she left and grabbed a police officer. i exited the bathroom and this officer escorted me out. Mind you, this was at 11pm. No where close to closing and she was cleaning the bathroom. I kindly asked her to step out and here we are.
The nachos were very large but I think I'd do without the lettuce next time. Still very tasty. The pretzels were best I've had in a while. We went to third story where it was less crowded and easier to get service. Nice area to people watch from window. Band was good too. Domestic bottles were $9 each but I guess it comes with the location.

Went for lunch with my 19yo daughter and we had a blast. Found a table as someone was leaving. Stayed for 90 mins and thoroughly enjoyed the bands. I was impressed how the bands tore down and the new band setup so quickly. I had fried catfish Nashville hot and it was some of the best catfish I’ve ever had. Cheers to Honky Tonk Central and the many amazing bands that are cutting their teeth on Broadway!!!
It was a fun end to my business trip to Nashville. The food was good and portions well sized. Music was hopping and the band was lively and fun. Thanks Michael Riley Band. I gave four stars because most of the bar stools were fairly wobbly. It was a frequent topic of people coming in after us. I settled in and sat still. Other than my fear of falling off the stool and breaking a hip, I had a good time!
Found hair in our food. To our server replied " this is the first she ever hear of anything like this" wasn't look for a free meal, just passing it along. We go to Nashville 6 times a year and will pass info with friends who stopping here. Yeah, hair in food happens, but our server was just rude. No thanks Honky Tonk Central Thanks for the memories

3 wonderful floors of music. Our first stop off the shuttle. Started on the first floor. Many genres of music were played. Ventured up to the second and third floors and the bands up there were just as good, but hardly anyone up there. If you want great music, a veranda that overlooks the street, quieter area and enjoy a snack, head upstairs. We had chicken tender basket, very fresh and good.
I've been to Honky Tonk Central twice now during my visits to Nashville, and I have had great experiences both times. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The bands playing have been top notch! I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a fun place to visit! Also, during COVID, the tables have been spread out for social distancing and all staff wear facemasks.
Cool Honky Tonk on an impossible to miss location and great views of Broadway St. And all the bar and action. Cold beer and diversity of bands and styles across the 3 different floor. Band quality may be varied, but one of two of the three will always be putting a great show. Good place to start the evening.

Another "not my first time here, but first Google Review" for this place! First came here in July 2015 and this spot is still rockin' out! Their huge nachos are a popular hit. A Broadway classic and hanging out on the patios facing 4th Ave and Broadway is always a nice people-watching view.

If you're coming to Nashville and you don't go to Honky Tonk Central you're doing something wrong! They have live music on both floors with artists that are always amazing! I'd highly recommend checking out this iconic spot! If you don't want to be there during a massive crowd, then head here earlier in the day and it should be easy to get in and enjoy yourself!
Lively place with good vibes. We have been here twice. Both times they had a good band with good country music. Band has been good too with engaging crowd. Some space in the front to dance. They have 3 bands playing on each floor. Better check out upstairs for different bands. Food and drinks are decent. Staff is friendly. Casual atmosphere. Good crowd.
Very cool, upbeat atmosphere with plenty of live bands, BBQ food and Western shops. Really enjoyed walking Broadway with our kids and listening to all the bands during the day. We ate at Jack's BBQ and it was incredible food. I highly recommend this for a cheap way to spend a day in Nashville. Would have given it a 5 star if there was a bit more to do.
We bellied up to the bar and enjoyed 2 bands and some cold beer. The bartenders are amazing and fast, especially Matthew K. This place fills up quick, so if you find an open barstool, you better grab it. Can't comment on the food, we didn't eat. Good atmosphere.

Loved the atmosphere here. Very lively and the live music was lit(really) on fire. Drinks were on the bit expensive side but it's totally worth it for the vibes and liveliness of this place. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who is visiting Nashville and would want to have couple of drinks and enjoy good music. Cheers! …

This place makes you feel like a mini Las Vegas Nevada. It's so many different restaurants and bars to go to the live music and peoples interactions on the street is definitely entertainment all night. Be prepared to walk and see tourist landmarks. It was a good time and I definitely can't wait to come back and visit!
The beer is cold, the music loud, service was ok. With only a short stop in Nashville, Honky Tonk Central served up enough of the Country Music vibe to make it a memorable stop. Family friendly enough for a road trip stop with grade school aged kids. It enjoys a good view of street activities for people watching too.
A fun, happening multi-level bar with live bands. It can get quite busy at times making it hard to get a drink. It's definitely one of the main bars in the downtown area to visit. You can also get a bite to eat. If it's not too packed, there are tables to sit and order food at but be fast in grabbing one.

Visited last weekend. Not too bad but not the best option. Sitting at the bar it smelled bad like dirt not sure if it was the place or someone. It didn’t have enough fresh air circulation for a hot day. The stage for the band is very small.

Bouncers we’re EXTREMELY RUDE. we waited in line. He let half of my group in then yelled at the rest of us that we needed to get in the back of the line. The manager (I’m assuming) who finally came to talk to us even stated he wasn’t sure why he’s bouncers we’re being that way.
Visiting Nashville? Come here for sure! Nestled on the famous Broadway strip, the party starts early here and continues late into the night. Not feeling downstairs or too busy? Hey there is an upstairs too with another live band! Great tunes and fun vibes. 10/10 would return.
Very inviting place with different styles of country music on every floor. We grabbed a table by the window balcony with a great view of Nashville. Good beer and friendly staff, ended up attempting a bar crawl but came right back to Honky Tonks as nothing else topped it!
Entertaining and fun! I love the delicious food served and the music played there. They’ve got the most incredible fries and blue cheese sauce. Kid friendly, families can go there with no worries. 101% recommend!

This place was ok. The band was very pushy when asking for tips, between every song they had to talk about how they needed money. Also, the drinks were a little high, even in comparison to most of the surrounding bars. The service was friendly though.

If you get the hot Nash chicken sandwich-please be prepared. They say hot on the menu but it should be like a marketed challenge where if you dare finish it, you get a free beer or something. While it was delicious at first, my friend and I
I like this bar because it has 4 levels and each level has a different kind of music everything from country to 90s rock love bands. They also have a great selection of local craft beers. I recommend the Tennessee Brewery Wit beer.
This place is pumping every night. I went here on a Monday night and wasn't really expecting too much. It's better then alot of places around the country on a Saturday night. Definitely head to the Honky Tonk for a good fun night.
Loved the atmosphere! Lots of fun, and they had great bands playing! Our group of 10 all enjoyed this bar! It was awesome to stand out on the balcony and watch the streets packed with people everywhere! Great birds eye view!
Great place to go on Broadway! This place has several levels of floors and each one has a different band or DJ playing. The top two floors also has a spot you can go outside and great for a picture with the honkey tonk sign!
Although very crowded, we went to honky tonk central 2 times on our week long trip to Nashville. And once more to get nachos to go, which were amazing! One of my favorite spots downtown, just be ready to wait for service.

We spent a couple nights here in Nashville liatening to bands. The bands and music were great. The bartenders were great. Drinks are expensive but they are expensive everywhere. Prices in line qith the rest of Broadway.

We were there a few weeks ago.The two bands we heard were great. The second band had a female fiddle player that was absolutely phenomenal!! They were so good! We didn't leave and walk around to the other bars
We went here on out road trip across the USA. Great bar to start the day/night. This was our local starting point everyday on Broadway. Really good energy and great service. All the pics are from the balcony.
Fun place! Three floors of live music. Band played variety of country, AC DC, Bryan Adams, & other fun party songs. It’s always good to get seats at the open windows overlooking Broadway. Great server.
From the 1st floor to the 3rd floor you'll always hear a great band. First floor is the most active highlighting veteran musicians. 3rd floor has a balcony with a great view of the action on Broadway.
A lot of fun, VERY busy all the time but each floor has different music. If you can make your way out to the balcony on the 3rd floor you'll get some awesome photos of Nashville's historic Broadway
Food was pretty good, and the bands we listened to here over a few different days were a lot of fun, and overall very good. Definitely a louder and more traditional idea of a honky-tonk to me.
First place I found a PBR. Better yet, they had premiums (in a bottle). Great environment and great service. We had a great bar tender and he was always on it to keep our drinks filled.
LOVED this place! Super awesome live music, good drinks and awesome location!! Funny enough the night we were there, there was no country music being played but still had so much fun!
I visited at lunch time; good music and although the ground floor was packed, there was plenty of space upstairs. Standard bar food, good service. Good view of broadway from upstairs.
Went on a tuesday afternoon and the vibe was great! excellent live bands and delicious food. Older crowd when we went, but we preferred the more laid back vibe and loved our visit!
This bar was a lot of fun. They had live music on every floor and a balcony on the top floor. The drinks were a bit expensive - about $13 each, some coming in small 8 oz cups.

Three level bar, loud, crowds of drunk people everywhere, expensive beer- it’s Broadway and it’s perfect.
Amazing service and great bands! Great food also. Probably the best buffalo chicken wrap I have ever had!
