So I’ve came to this place twice for their night market which is always fun , yet unusually slow. Place is generally full of good vibes & energy. The staff their are welcoming and non- judgmental, which I can always appreciate. They also always have nice background music playing. Ordered food last time I came and it was delicious. However, the portions are ridiculously small. It makes sense because they are considered bar snacks, yet it’s still pretty expensive. I was definitely impressed with the wings and the brussels sprouts , it was full of flavor. My experience went downhill when I ordered a coconut & honey iced latte from the cafe. It was horrible and honestly they shouldn’t be serving coffee of that quality. It tasted like watered down instant coffee. I definitely don’t reccomend their coffee to anyone ,and my $6 was wasted . All in all, I would definitely come back for a nice chill night at the market, and to enjoy their food while I’m there .

Cool venue for live music and drinks! Went during one of their event nights, this one posted is Glam Night. Hung out to get a bite to eat and they have a nice menu of classic bar foods with some cool ingredients intermixed. I got the truffle fries (not pictured because I devoured them) which were good. They have a full bar with speciality cocktails on the menu and non-alcoholic bevs, too! The staff was nice and accommodating, where I asked for adjustments and I ended up making one of their non-alcoholic bevs, a pickled lemon lavender lemonade, into something harder with a shot of my liquor of choice. Great ambiance, attentive staff. A cool gem in Tampa, looking forward to going again. Paved lot parking around the building, kinda limited, but I think street parking is available in the area if you look at signs posted.

I went here for brunch on a Sunday, and it was alright. They have a DJ outside playing deep house music. We ate inside, the menu was small, but they are more of a bar with bar food, so their brunch menu is kind of the special menu. The food was okay. I had steak and eggs with grits, they don’t ask how you would like your steak. It wasn’t bad, but I’ve had better. Their drinks are kinda pricey, especially for a mimosa. But I do recommend this place if you’re looking for something to do on a Sunday, just maybe eat beforehand. Haven’t tried their regular menu throughout the week, so I might go back to do so.

Fantastic chill ambiance venue just located outside of downtown Tampa and blocks from University of Tampa. The outside seating bar top area is shaded and you can catch some cool AC spilling out from inside bar area, beats the direct Florida heat. They have a decent selection of beers on tap and bottles but it's their artesian cocktails that steal the show and anchor their full service spirits selection. My wife and I sampled about 6 of their artisan style cocktails and all them were well crafted. I especially enjoyed the spicy bloody Mary. If hunger is prevailing they have an excellent selection of small bites, burgers and sandwiches. The ambience is super chill relaxing and laid-back.

Interesting bright spot in an area that needs more positive growth. Chill hangout spot that has amazing DJ’s and great audio for the limited interior space it was working with. The dual bar area was sufficient to handle the largest of crowds. The motif was top notch and if the latest trends and in fact was holding a local artist spotlight, which was phenomenal. The food was pretty good and reasonable. The house named drinks were fun, well made, interesting and actually tasted of quality mix and were reasonably priced. I personally loved the mixed and eclectic crowd this location drew. I’d come back and recommend anyone to at least visit and hangout at least once and give it a try.

First time here but it was absolutely beautiful inside! I didnt get any food or any of the signature drinks. Vodka sprite was about $7.50. Staff was friendly. I came to see Loose Talk play and i thought it was really cool that coul could watch the band on tvs all over the venue.. That way if youre ordering from the bar and your back is turned to the stage there are plenty of tvs above the bar to still watch. They even had them projected onto a wall. Really neat! This place also has the most beautiful and unique chandelier ive ever seen. You cant help but notice how great it looks. Outdoor patio is really nice too! Cant wait to come back here.

Hooch and Hive is another local favorite. Their drinks are reasonably priced and the bartenders are so friendly. Often have live music, but I will say it’s always just a little too loud even when you’re outside you can’t hear the person next to you.

If we were local we would totally be here all the time! Great bar w/ plenty of patio seating and super awesome staff, like Alanna, Tom, & Steven! We came down from Atlanta for a week at the beach and turned out that Tim Cappello (the sax player from The Lost Boys) was performing the night we got in so I had to go #bucketlist!! The concert was amazing, including a local group Alpha Quadrant who performed before Tim. The sliders and cheese curds are amazing and plenty of drink options. Restrooms were clean, there was plenty of parking w/ the side lot, and overall just a great place!

  • Shelby Lakey

I know that it was an event the night I went but the service we received initially was horrible. We sat there for 15 mins without being served just to be told “I’ll be with you in a minute” In a somewhat rude tone- and then forgotten. We had asked another server and she was as sweet as can be- she made some good drinks. Over prices for the service received. If it wasn’t an event I would not have come here. Do what you will with this small business but from someone who has come from a corporate company- it needs to be more organized and attention to customers and details.

Everything here is so unique :) Best sound system of the Bay for a reason the musical acts are absolutely phenomenal. The food is so tasty it's just delicious you can eat super healthy you can eat vegetarian you can be a meat eater and have the duck on waffle... And the coconut curry cheese curds I must have :) Large covered patio with fans everywhere so nice and breezy overlooking a fabulous field downtown. Sit inside at a large booth or sit at the bar and plug into USB port and get your work done on your laptop. The staff is just amazing ~

  • Hazel Voss

Great environment, high vibrational atmosphere and exquisite drinks. The staff is overwhelmed by a moderate crowd and deserves the opportunity to make genuine connections with their consumers. Please ensure that your customers feel worth acknowledging when waiting for 30 minutes to place an order. Compassion and empathy will help this establishment grow and thrive. I look forward to seeing the changes six months from now. Have a blessed day and know that a positive mindset means having two solutions for every challenge.

Riki and Andrea are great, always live music when I go which is fun, then a silent movie with subtitles ranging from Godzilla to Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas plays in the background. Outdoor bar seating so you can smoke. If I ever opened a bar, it'd probably be identical in composition. Oh, and $3.50 Happy Hour specials..can't beat it. Wife and I go every week.

Brought to women here on a Saturday night to watch the live music, foot and drinks. It cost $10 per person to get in. The owner and the manager out front collecting money. We're very awesome. They were very friendly and the food was good. They even had vegetarian and keto friendly options for one of the women. They made a friendly cocktail. Definitely a great place to go for live music and entertainment. We had a great time and will definitely be back again with more of our friends. Thank you for the experience!

  • Scott Harrell

I may be biased because I know the management and perform here occasionally, but the food and community vibe are really the stars. H&H has a unique and extremely tasty menu - familiar dishes like sliders, wings and street corn are reimagined and offered alongside innovative dishes like a brilliant take on Brussels sprouts. It's extremely vegan-friendly and the beverage/cocktail program rules. After dark, enjoy live entertainment of all kinds, from acoustic acts to hip-hip or DJs.

  • David Johnson

We really dig this place! We went to Hooch And Hive for the first time the other night to see RM Johnson & The Tomcats (excellent real blues players) and we loved it. Nice atmosphere, good drinks, and great live music are all we could want from a bar. They don't have a lot food (burgers, etc.), but what they do have is good (the French Toast bites are excellent too). PS: No relation to RM Johnson. LOL

This place is INCREDIBLE and so beautiful. I brought my crew here for my birthday and had an amazing time trying out different items from their bar, kitchen, AND café - which were all delicious. My favorite was the Bake and Wake drink, a beautiful liquor medley infused with CBD. The amazing Zamira made it and it tasted like chilled heaven in a glass. I've never had a drink described so well by someone so inviting and friendly. Thank you so much!

We brought our,8yr old and 17.month old For a clean fun atmosphere, it was great. Thay treat you like royalty.. Exit it with regard to write a new tip on out formal that is if nothing I came back in to give a tip because that wonderful they were.. Truly a family and fun atmosphere.. Am sure it with me a lot more fun after Family hours... Great with social distancing and clean atmosphere! Definitely going back. And had rig parking ..

Very cute and welcoming environment. Super inclusive so everyone can feel comfortable. The drinks are delicious and there's plenty to chose from. They close earlier than other bars which is the only downside. Often have live music and art events. It's tucked away near University of Tampa but it's definitely worth it. Very nice variety of drinks, even offering porters which most bars don't have much to choose from.

  • Jack Walsh

I went to see Mishka and of good nature. IT WAS GREAT! The food was good and the staff were very nice. MISHKA was so good that I recommend if you get the chance to see Mishka do it so you don't miss this great concert with a lot of the music off his new CD This Love... Of Good Nature ROCKED THE HOUSE. Don't miss this show... I hope to catch another show before the end of the tour.

Totally was not what I was expecting for as the ambiance. Very chill spot with good music. We are always looking for a place to sit, eat, and listen to music. This place hit the spot for food and music. I had their Duck & Waffle with Brussels Sprouts which were sooo good. I would say the prices are bit high for tapas food and small menu. Either way we will still return.

  • artssygrl

I really like this place. There's plenty of parking; it's well lit and very clean. They have a full bar including a variety of coffees. The food is small plates which are reasonably priced. I had the cheese curds and the fried geeen tomato slider, both were yummy. The music is at a good volume, you can still have a conversation without having to shout over the music.

Greetings, Dean the General Manager definitely has a sweet gentle soul. He was very kind to me during my short employment there and in my time of needs. The establishment is beautiful, food is fresh and really really good. The Sangria is my favorite! I absolutely love all the hippies, artists, and beautiful artwork! A+ ✅ Best wishes, Gena G IG: the_hippie_masseuse

Beautiful space that is always bustling with live music, local art, and some of the best snacks in town! Creative selection of cocktails as well as the standards, like an Old Fashioned that cant be beat. Try the duck waffle or the cheese curds and you will not be disappointed!! Very comfortable vibe with an indoor and outdoor bar and lounge seating.

Amazing venue. Sound was awesome, huge for a smaller place without being overpowering. Love the layout, food, drinks and staff exceeded expectations. Lovely balance of a well stocked bar with excellent non alcoholic drinks and thoughtfully crafted teas and coffees. Truffle fries were out of this world. Can't wait to go back.

I was looking for a different place to have lunch. It was early in the day and we beat the crowd. Cool atmosphere and they have live music at night. It has an artsy feel. Food came fast and was very good. They have the best bloody Mary’s. If you like it spicy then you need to come here. I would recommend this place.

  • Raehyeon Jeong (Rae)

My all the time favorite place. I love all of their food and vibes/energy. Brussels sprouts/truffle fries are my go to always. Staffs are very kind and friendly + Dog friendly, I bring my dogs here sometimes and they always gives so much love on my pups. They are also very supportive for artists/musicians.

I would give Hooch and Hive a 4.5. I really enjoyed the place, it's a good bar with live music. The waiters were super nice, but the service wasn't good that night I was there - maybe bad luck. The food was really good, but I wish they had more options.

Came here to see a friend's band play last night. Great vibes, I ordered a signature drink that was just ok for my tastes, but the food is surprisingly good. You have to try the street corn empanadas and cheese curds, you won't regret it. Overall a great experience and would go back again.

  • Melissa Marie

What a great place. There was a small outdoor market with jewelry vendors, clothing etc. They have a large cocktail menu. The food menu is a little small. Everything we ordered was amazing. I loved the cheeseburger sliders. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The ambiance was killer

  • Chris Brown

This place is kind of awesome. The food is excellent and I highly recommend the Honeysuckle Collins. The live music was fun. The only criticism was our waiter wasn't great. Kinda had a poor attitude that bordered on rude and spilled a drink on me. I'd still go back for the drink though.

Check out this cool new spot Hooch and Hive. We took our evening walk and a nice music from DJ JASK drew us in. Then we walk inside and discover that it's a really cool new spot. And the best part? Aside from it being walking distance? They carry Xander beer from Bay Cannon Beer Co.!!!
