TL;DR - Hope Plumbing employs sales people that know little about plumbing, and in our case broke our plumbing and were unable to fix it, wasted 2 hours of our day trying to sell unrelated chlorine mitigation and water softeners. Service tech admitted most of their compensation is commission-based and wouldn't answer about whether he had a state plumbing license. Longer story -- Purchased the annual service subscription that included drain clean, camera inspection, plus $100 in services. Been using them for 10+ years, every time they do a camera inspection they've recommended $10k-20k of sewer line replacement. I've always disagreed its needed and declined the work, and drain line keeps working fine, but it's an inexpensive way to get a camera inspection to see if the roots are getting worse. This time we chose to use the $100 service credit to clean out a slow draining trap in a bathroom, I told the tech it was a "bowl trap" instead of a p-trap, he had never heard of it but seemed fascinated. He came back with the trap broken in pieces, said it would be $450 to replace the trap he broke with parts and labor, we asked him to call his supervisor since he broke it and it's literally $5 in parts. As he waited an hour for his supervisor to call back, he "tested" the chlorine level and claimed it was above the EPA limits and cited the health impacts of high chlorine levels and recommended we buy a $3k carbon filter to neutralize the harmful chlorine. He also tested water hardness and claimed the hardness would destroy our tankless hot water heater in a matter of months and quoted $20k for a water softener system. After 2+ hours wasted from our work day listening to sales pitches, he finally came and said that the trap is "rare" and a "strange size" and he can't get parts to replace the trap so he can't even fix it. At that point we asked him to please leave which he did. Later that week I went to Lowes and buy a 1 1/4" trap kit for $25 and replaced it myself (paid $20 more for chrome vs plastic). I received my estimate from them on 7/29/22 and agreed they would be completing the hookup to city water from well water in our home. Come September the work had still not been started. They dug a hole for my meter pit on September 6th,22. 3 weeks later they come back to finish the job with a completely different scope of work. The crew that came to "finish" the work broke my sewer line leading from my kitchen to my septic, they "repaired" it. However now I have issues with my kitchen drain. They left my yard an uneven mess, and informed my that the final grading was up to me after I paid them over $9,000.00. They also left a patch of road that still needs to be repaired 3 months after the work was complete. I have made multiple attempts to get in touch with only to just be able to make contact with management today and be told they "thought the patch was done". Please do not waste your time or money. Find a plumber who actually cares about their reputation and customer, because they sure don't Update it is now almost 11 months since my city water was connected. The work is still NOT finished and not one member of management will return my calls.

11/15/23 - We had Hope Plumbing out again, mostly because our house is old and has some sewer line issues. Ed came out again and cleared our main sewer line quickly. He is always great and very personable. Can't say enough about Ed. Hope sent another plumber out to perform a camera inspection of our main sewer line. Dave came out and performed the inspection. Unfortunately, our main line needs some serious repairs, However, the only portion remaining to be replaced lies underneath the sidewalk and street. Dave was quick to identify the responsibility to be the water/sewer company's. Dave submitted a repair request to the utility company on our behalf and attached the video to confirm the repair needs. Hope hasn't made a lot of money from us for the small repairs we've needed. Regardless every time we've worked with them has been amazing and they have gone beyond our expectations. They will have our future business for sure. Ed showed up on time and was very communicative and professional. Diagnosed the problem and quickly resolved it. Very nice young man. Always welcome in our home.

I called Hope Plumbing to service a plumbing need at my home. I love that Hope Plumbing sends you get a text and picture of the person coming to service your home. Today Grant was sent to my home. He was friendly and knowledgeable about my plumbing needs. He took a look at the issue and provided me with three different options with prices to close off a water line to my fridge. I ultimately decided not to get the service done today on my fridge water line. Grant explained my options and I plan to wait to buy a new fridge so a full replacement job can be done by Hope Plumbing. Hope Plumbing has serviced my 74 year old home repeatedly for a leaky pipe in the basement, a slow draining sink, and a toilet issue. I love having the service of Hope Plumbing and the benefits of membership! Great benefits for a very affordable membership, just $8 a month. Membership includes a waiver on trip fees for a plumber to come out and a discount for other services and more. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable plumbing services!

Our General Contracting company does not have a plumbing license, so we called Hope out to assist in running underground plumbing for a renovation we will begin. Our client called and scheduled the appointment & told the technician to speak with us about what needs to be done. The technician said he'd have to give the quote later, and after two business days, we received nothing. We called the main office for an update & shortly after that, the technician left a voice-mail that the project is outside of their scope of work. It struck us as odd because there is a picture of the work we need done on their website. Their commercial says, "Hope is the plumber for me & you," but our hope was crushed. We have a timeline to complete this work & we called a company that we thought to be reputable. We are moving on to find another company, but we just wanted to share our disappointment that we couldn't rely on Hope Plumbing to assist us.

My technician, Richard VanDyke, called approximately 30 minutes before his arrival to let me know he was on his way. He came to my home today to look at my faucet. Upon inspection he immediately figured out that a part of the faucet was defective. He found the model number for me and suggest I contact Delta to see if the faucet was under warranty. He even gave me the number for Delta so I could call them while he was still here. Turns out that even though the faucet is 11 years old, it is still under warranty. Delta is sending a replacement part free of charge. I appreciate Richard's professionalism and honesty while diagnosing my plumbing issue. He was very friendly and personable. He was quick and efficient in solving my problem. I will definitely use Hope Plumbing for all my plumbing needs. They are the best!

Tried to swindle me out of $6,000 for a new water heater! The sales man told me my water heater was too hot and leaking, and he was afraid it would blow up! He turned off the breaker for it as well, leaving us with zero hot water. I didn’t appreciate the fear he put into me saying it could blow up and pressuring me into making a decision so quickly without processing the situation. He also called me later that night at 8pm to make sure we didn’t need him to come back out and replace everything since he was closing the shop for the day and didn’t want us to have to pay an emergency call fee (what a guy!) I ended up only needing a new valve ($364.00). Nonetheless, I will never appreciate the way the salesman treated us or tried to thieve us out of money. Never use this company EVER.

I used Hope plumbing in February 2023 and had such great experience when I needed a plumberJuly of 23… (for a different issue than before) I called Hope and the issue this time was more than last and I must say again it was a pleasure and great job by Hope!! The plumber Ed Boyd was very professional and a great person all around could not have asked for a nicer person to explain and walk us through the process… very helpful! Ed did a nice job cleaned up! I mean made us comfortable with the uncomfortable plumbing situation!! Thanks Ed Boyd and Hope plumbing for all the great work… thumbs up and will recommend and refer anyone who needs any plumbing issues resolved! And definitely is my go to Plumbers!!

A fix I tried on a shower handle, went south quickly. System failed and shower would not turn off. Jonathan Hunt from Hope Plumbing came out in a reasonably prompt time. He was professional. I asked him to teach me a bit about how my plumbing worked and where to turn off the water in the basement. I feel smarter now. Initially it looked a little grim in terms of the fix. But Jonathan evaluated a cheaper option and was able to resolve my issue efficiently and for about half the price. Hope had a system that was very communicative while I waited for Jonathan to initially drive. They even gave me a little bio of Jonathan when he was a signed the project (a nice touch). Very positive experience.

Eric was my plumber. I had a potential emergency situation and I called HOPE because my normal company could not come out right away. I am SO PLEASED with the professionalism and personal touch that I received from HOPE! It turned out that I didn't need the valve replaced. He showed me the problem which saved me money and my sanity!! I am TRULY GRATEFUL for the "hope" that was given to me today!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company! The representative from Hope, Edward, was courteous, professional, knowledgable, and friendly. He listened intently to my description of my problem and offered up a free exchange of information and ideas. He was very forthcoming in answering all my questions and in explaining the course of action, as that proper course was determined through his investigation. The use of deduction and reason to reach the conclusion was impresive. I have no buyers remorse and I wholeheartedly recommend Hope Plumbing and Edward. A very good job was done in diagnosing and addressing a partial blockage in the main sewer line.

I received friendly and prompt service, and a professional gentleman took care of my plumbing needs that were expedient. He additionally showed me that my main valve was leaking and replaced the gate valve with a more modern version and replaced the pipe on either end of it. He was very helpful, out where I might have further problems down the road if I didNot address the issues at this time. He plans to return on Monday and do multiple services for this house that was built in 1968. I feel that it will be good to have a sense of security after the work is finished.

Tylor was very professional and courteous during his visit. We looked over the concerns I had and he also conducted an overall check of the house's plumbing to ensure there were no further concerns. He explained that there was nothing else that needed fixed at this time, but provided some estimates for future projects should the need arise. He was very down to earth and did not act like a pushy salesman in any way which was much appreciated. Tylor fixed my two issues timely and cost effectively. We will be contacting Hope Plumbing for future plumbing needs.

I had a 20 year old toilet removed and a brand new one installed. Seth and David did an amazing job! They cleaned up after themselves, they were respectful of my home, funny and I am super pleased with the work they did. Alissa was a delight to talk to while I was scheduling as well! They are not cheap, but I've had much higher quotes and I feel good with the service I got. I have a warranty on everything, they've been around for almost as long as my old toilet so I know you're not going anywhere and they're still a local company. Thank you! I love it!

We had a great experience with Hope plumbing! From now on if it’s in the budget Hope plumbing is who we are doing business with. Grateful we could afford to fix the issue and we were presented with multiple plans until we felt comfortable with what was going to fix our issue long term or in the short term. We didn’t feel pressured and the situation felt handled from the start. The work was very skilled and the plumber was very polite considering having a plumbing issue at your house is awkward. They were quick and efficient and even nice to my dog.

This has by far been the best experience I’ve had with a service technician that has come to my home. JP was prompt, efficient, knowledgeable & very friendly along with taking the time to explain in detail what needed to be done to address my issues. Not only that, but the staff that reached out before & after JP’s visit were also a pleasure to speak with. Eric Camper arrived and promptly took action assessing my whole home, in addition to the new water valve access I had requested in my kitchen. I appreciated Eric’s eye for detail, he caught a few minor issues that he repaired on the spot at no additional cost & offered me realistic multi-optioned pricing for my home. Eric answered all of my questions and ventured down into my crawl space multiple times to make sure things were working as they should be. Eric knows his material & I am grateful to have had him our to our home.

I have had MANY dealings with Hope at my current residence (thanks 1995 plumbing) but this most recent one fixing the root cause of an error code on my dishwasher (some piping issues), was the best. I called Hope plumbing to fix my outdoor faucet that was leaking. After coming out to analyze the problem, Connor made an appointment to come back the following week so the work could get done. On Friday, Brandon and Jeremiah came to do the work which included going into the crawl space. They did a terrific job. They were efficient, polite and professional. Also I was showed pictures of what had been done in the crawl space. I was very pleased with the quick response to my call for help and for a job well done!

I've used this company multiple times and they've always been great. Called this morning, Alex P. Came to the house by noon and luckily it was a quick fix. I have an older home and all the plumbing needs repaired. They have fixed / repaired about 5 or 6 items and have been great each time. I would never use another plumber. All the employees I've worked with have been great. They also work with a company to finance large repairs. I would have not been able to get my repairs completed without this financing.

The plumber, Richard, went over and above repairing a water leak. He kept working after 5 pm and until the issue was resolved which meant staying until 10:30 pm. He treated me like he would want his grandmother treated. I have used Hope Plumbing several times over the years because they work with integrity and honesty which is very hard to find these days. Hole was extremely helpful and prompt. Their responsiveness was very quick (less than 12 hours for non-emergency). Alex, my plumbing specialist, was great. He explained everything to me and helped give me tips and tricks. He helped get me scheduled as my problem was bigger than originally thought and was very communicative, personable, and polite. I definitely recommend working with Hope, especially if your house is on the older side (mine is 85+ years old).

Seth Taylor did a great job! Very professional and friendly. Helped me understand everything and make things clear like quotes, labor, etc. Great with my pack of 6 crazy dogs. Had Richard Parkinson (technician) come out to diagnose problems with a water heater and provide quote/info to convert whole home from electric to gas. Richard did great with the water heater and working with me on options for the electric to gas conversion. Price of the water heater repair was a little higher than what some other service provider estimated; however, service from Richard was great. Would recommend using Hope based on my experience.

I've been a member for 3 years now. I called for an emergency plumbing issue, and they couldn't send anyone until the next day. NOT ACCEPTABLE for me!! I called another company, Mowery plumbing, and they came out 2 hours late to fix my issue. I canceled my membership ASAP with Hope plumbing because they aren't reliable as I previously thought. If you need same day service, CALL ANOTHER COMPANY, save yourself the headache.

Hope Plumbing came out immediately and installed a new water softener the very next day after I called them. The technician was knowledgeable and efficient completing the job. He answered all my questions and instructed me on the routine care and maintenance of my new softener. The financing process was easy and I was given a number of payment options. Hope Plumbing checks all the boxes of being a five star company.

We’ve used Hope Plumbing in the past and have had some mixed experiences but this time we had Conner - he was amazing. Very helpful, very detailed, flexible, responsive and overall really nice to work with. He did an incredible work installing drainage, plumbing and a number of other odd things we needed done in the basement. He was very knowledgeable. I would recommend these guys to anyone. From the start : Actually showed up on time. Not only Answered all the stupid I had- but explained them in a way that was easy to understand. I had Michael come out for a 2nd time to work on my pipes. My house was built in 1952 and Michael cut out several old iron pipes, nonfunctional shut off valves, and sillcocks. He did a great job. Also my dog likes Michael and watches out the front window as he goes back and forth to his truck.

We’ve used Hope Plumbing for several plumbing jobs at our house. Yesterday, we had our water heater replaced with a tankless water heater and added a water softener. Matt was great at answering my questions, explaining different options, financing, and when and how long the project would take.

Connor & Juan did an excellent job removing my old tank water heater and replacing with a state of the art tankless unit. The best part it had to been done on a Saturday which was not an issue for Hope Plumbing. A definite 5 star performance and recommendation!

My Service Technician was Ben Stauffer, he did a very good job. Ben and his helper replaced seven (7) gate valves with ball valves and replaced my hot water heater and my water softner. I am pleased with the work Ben did, it is very professional.
