We experienced a few issues with this hotel. Firstly, our room smelt of sewage. This did not disappear the entire time we were there. We asked about it at reception and were told they knew it had happened in another room and they said to put water down a drain in the bathroom floor to get rid of the smell. I don’t see why we had to fix our rooms issue and why we were given a room that smelt like sewage in the fist place as cleaners must have noticed it smelt bad before we got there! Secondly, myself and my partner were quite unwell for the first few days and we tended to come to our hotel room often. So we used the ‘do not disturb’ sign on the door to make sure we could rest without interference. However cleaning staff shouted at us quite nastily when we asked for extra toilet roll and the following day a cleaner demanded and shouted that we left our room in 5 minutes and waved bed sheets in my partners face. I understand it would be annoying for them, it was annoying for us being unwell on holiday and we felt like they could have asked nicely/ not demanded we left the room we paid when it’s our room? After she shouted at my partner she laughed with her colleague. We also asked reception for a taxi for the next day and we were told the taxi would arrive at the hotel only to find out the next day that we had to walk 10 minutes away across a bridge and road to get the taxi. We were not told this before. Lastly, the food is fine but watermelon is the only fruit you really get and sometimes you have to wait 30 minutes for money because your server is taking his wife to the bus stop. Good thing: location!

We stayed here for three nights (extended from two) during shoulder season and had a phenomenal time. The hotel is beach-front with a nice set of umbrellas and chairs. All of the rooms have either ocean views or *side* ocean views. The rate we paid was quite reasonable for the large, well-lit, clean room. But we also got two meals a day *included*. The breakfast was standard Mediterranean breakfast fare. And, shockingly, the dinner was incredible—each night was a different, interesting, well-prepared, and very filling meal! Wow! It was very good. And four courses! Please, Hotel Kamomil, don’t change anything about dinner! Finally, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We will be telling any of our friends visiting “the beach” from Tirana to head straight to Hotel Kamomil.

Banja afer dushit ishte e githa me myk dhe carcafet nuk nderoheshin per dite.peshqirat gjysem te grisur dhe mbi siperfaqet e dhomes kishte shume pluhur.Tv nuk punonte me kanalet shqipetare vetem 3 kanale gjermane kapte. Mengjezi dhe darka po thuajse per dite te njejtat gjera pa shije dhe gjellet e darkes ishin shume te kripura. Nuk do ta rekomandoja, Me vjen keq se kam ngelur i zhgenjyer!!!

Very bad hotel, with very poor food. It was same every day. After we decided to leave earlier they didn't want to give us back our monney. They serve french fries every day. The only fruit we get for 10 days was watermellon. The fish was cooked, not grilled, etc, etc... It was a nightmare staying in Kamomil! Iy was not only us complaining and leaving earlier, many famillies had to do the same. Inspection of Albanian Ministry of Tourism will have lot of job in Kamomil!!!

Nice and clean hotel with decent prices. We were there for 6 days in June, it wasn't overcrowded. Beach is right in front of it with free beach chairs and parasols. We had breakfast and dinner included in price, breakfast was little bit monotonous but dinner was great. From 3 waiters that works there, only one speaks english so that could be improved. Girl at reception also speaks english perfectly, so everything we needed we could arrange that with her, all commendations. All in all good experience for first time in Albania.

It was double rooms with extended sofa for the price of the triple room. We didnt want to say anything. You made the prices not us its logical that the six people cant eat for 3 euros. I am blonde not black color of hair. You just wanted the money and didnt care how your guests feel, but inspection will care. And please educate yourself and staff on hospitality and selling the product.

Location: perfect location, just at the sandy beach. New construction with spaceous rooms and well furnished. Cleaning is excellent and staff is very friendly. Breakfast below average. Not to many choices of selection. Beach: good enough, though umbrellas and beach beds could be better. Space from umbrella to umbrella is very good and gives some intimacy. Bar: yet is not well supplied. Value for money: very good comparing to competition around.

ONE WORD TO DESCRIBE DISASTER Advice to hotel owners, it is better for you not to engage in catering and hotel business because you have no idea. Charge accommodation in advance immediately, already on the first day you experience disappointment and want to leave the hotel but the money is not returned,

Everything is excellent. The reception, hospitality, and the manager’s treatment was very wonderful. The food was excellent and they provided us with distinguished services. I highly recommend it. The rooms are clean and there is great cooperation from the staff. They helped me with the bags. I will come back with my family again, thank you to the manager kamomil

I rate this hotel 10/10. The best hotel in Durres.The food was the best and the staff was very friendly.I recomend it to everyone who comes in Albania.

The hotel is right on the beach,the views are phenomenal. Who doesn’t want to wake up listening to the sound of the blue Adriatic sea? Prices are affordable,service is impeccable and rooms are very clean. This hotel also has a restaurant when you can find fresh seafood.Highly recommend for holidays. Të tjera

The rooms were above average, BUT the food was not the best, rather bad, the refrigerator in our room did not work as intended, the staff was average.

Terrible and monotonous food, no staff watch when food runs out. Terrible service. The only good thing is that the hotel is on the first line and has a nice beach. I am disappointed with my stay and would not do it again.

Very nice place, next to the beach. Amazing view. The Rooms are very clean and the staff is kindly to help with everything. There are different choice of food and the service is awasome. Definitly will come back. Kamomil is my first choice, dont listen to scam comments, just visit and feel "Kamomil vibe".

We stayed for 9 nights with half boarding and really loved the hotel. Super friendly and helpful people, perfect location and beach, clean room and perfect sea view. We had lunch nearly everyday at the hotel restaurant. Highly recommend for vacations. Të tjera

Hotel rooms are cleans but rooms in 1,2,3,4 floor are olds and rooms in 5 are really mush better than elses.

Excellent family hotel with great service,enjoyed double Skenderbeu and Turkish coffee in a sunset :)
