Very easy to recommend. You get an attentively run, comfortable small hotel in a great location for sightseeing. The breakfast is served to order and was a satisfying start to the day, with some variations each day. You do need to allow 30 minutes minimum, as the kitchen is small. All the touristy highlights around La Candelaria are an easy walk from here. The street was quiet at night, but never felt unsafe. The staff went to great lengths to make us feel welcome and make sure we were well taken care of, although their complete lack of English and my extremely basic Spanish did get in the way there. You're likely to meet other European and American travellers here. There's a laidback atmosphere in the various common spaces and guests are quick to chat to each other.

The hotel is well located, the rooms are fine but I must say that they are not good for person with mobility reduced, but unfortunately the really bad thing about this hotel is the staff, they doesn't look happy to work, having bad attitude and long faces, as a Colombian I apologize with the tourists and local person visiting this hotel, they don't represent the joy of the culture. And finally be careful when you do the check out, they bill us one towel for 20dollars, we are not really sure if it was in our room. So anyway I don't recommend this hotel.

Es un lugar bastante agradable con una temática Muisca, la decoración y en general todo el hotel es hermosa, te atienden super bien, está en una buena ubicación ya que de aquí te puedes ir caminando por todo el casco histórico, no hay parqueadero, aún así si vienes de turista el plan te cae super bien. Todo el personal atento en todo, serviciales.

We loved our stay at Hotel Muisca! The front desk staff were sooooo accommodating and kind. They greeted us when we arrived and carried in our luggage; arranged for a driver for us , carried our delicious breakfast up to the terrace for us and whipped up delectable snacks for us after hours, with nothing but a smile and ‘con gusto’. The room was charming and comfortable with French doors that open to a terrace. Close to restaurants and attractions like Montserrat. We will definitely stay here again ! And don’t miss the one hour sauna - just heavenly !

Beutiful small hotel at the heart of the historical center of Bogota walking distance to the main interesting places . Rooms are not spacious but with a lot of charm and tasteful decorate. The roof terrace is beautiful with an amazing view of the old city. The staff was polite and very accommodating . Quite and charming place. I really loved it !

I had an absolutely wonderful experience. Carlos and Claudia were so pleasant and caring. The food was very tasty and home cooked. Fresh juice and fruit daily. Location is excellent (5-10 minute walk to Plaza de Bolivar). They help with contacting safe transport and have amazing service for airport pickup and drop off. The rooftop patio has an outstanding view but only accessible through spiral staircase. Overall the experience was so amazing !

A lovely little hotel in a great location. Juan Carlos & his staff were really friendly & helpful. Really comfortable beds & spotlessly clean. I’m looking forward to staying again when I return to Bogotá.

Excelente la atención, deliciosas las onces, todo fresco. Claudia, es su empleada estrella, es muy atenta y cordial supremamente amable y siempre con toda la disposición para el cliente, el resto del personal también muy atentos. las instalaciones, muy hermosas, ya en este año hemos ido 2 veces con mi pareja y siempre hemos salido más que satisfechos!

Beautiful little historic hotel in a safe and central part of the historic district. Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff were amazing, breakfast on the terrace was memorable. The building has oodles of character and made for a magical stay, thank you!

Cute hotel, helpful staff. Only tiny problem is that the walls are super thin, it feels like the other room is part of your room, as you can hear everything. Location wise I would recommend to book a hotel more in the north of bogota.
