We camped in the last weekend of Feb 2017, and the weather was better than expected. Pleasant during the day and cool at night. The Lake was beautiful, Night sky was lit up with stars as it was a new moon night. The journey from Mumbai to Goti is a breeze, but after that from Goti to Bhandardara is a bit rough. The views once you near the Kalsubai area are beautiful. The last patch from the dam to the lake is full of bumps as the road is virtually non existant. Tents were pitched overlooking the Lake and though there were 90 people that night. Tents of different groups were reasonably away from each other. The lake water was clear and good for a swim. The surrounding area was good too and luckly no mosquitoes. Just remember to carry a sleeping bag or your own blankets, as the ones provided are often not too thick. Toilets are a problem and we had to go to the Camp providers hotel which was like a kilometer away. Food was good and unlimited. The entire package of Camping n food was for 1500 per pax. Food included Lunch, Tea Snack, Barbeque, Dinner & Breakfast. All Unlimited

Hotel Rainbow have well maintained rooms for family &Youngster. Get up with the fresh air and surrounding with beautiful garden, hills. A small heaven. Would recommend to visit specially for families and youngster who loves nightout or bonfire. Interesting fact it's famous for monsoon and winter season. (Couple it's for yours.) Another fact: Govt are building new transparent skywalk. All the adults of the family kindly visit when it get open and visit this hotel and stay so you could be part of the beauty. P.S : Govt is working on developing this place. I would recommend you to share it with yourself and others who are travellers like you. Do visit this new place. Discover and be a part. Location: Good, just before start of Ghat on main highway. Restaurant: Food quality and portion is ok, but more variety required. Totally crowded during weekend, expect delays. Stay Rooms: Rooms are clean but washrooms are leaky. Terrace arrangement is nice for stags, family may not be comfortable. Swimming pool not so clean needs frequent circulation. No wifi, no network of major carriers despite being on main highway.

Went there with a friend while coming back from malshej ghat . The place is very neat and hygienic , especially the toilets . Mostly the toilet in these kind of hotels are not so well maintained but this one over here is a head turner. The food quality and quantity runs hand in hand . It's a place for friends as well as family. Good ambience and very amicable people . Overall good place for a stop over.

Rainbow hotel situated in Malashej Ghat, Thane. On National highway 61 (from mumbai to Vishakhapatnam road). From Kalyan it takes around 2 to 2:30 journey time towards Malashej before the Ghat starts. Earlier it was very crowded place better food, off course it is costly, it is authorized stop for MSRTC Busses. But from few months it get locked, reason unknown might be it will get open soon hopefully...

Way too crowded, the staff couldn't even imagine to manage crowd. Jus because of the location downhill malshej people take a halt to have some food but it usually takes 20mins to have a seat and once you order approx 40 mins for the food to be served. Less staff causes this mess. Apart from it the view from the hotel is great. One can also plan to stay as they have lodging facility.

The food is of worst tatse. The owner is also not very polite speaks rudely. Also the quality of food is not up to the mark, it's devastating. People may have acquainted with some diseases due to the poor hygienic condition used here. The view of ghataghar is brilliant but the poor management of restaurant can't be over looked here. My suggestion avoid going here.

There is no cleanliness in this hotel. Washrooms are not clean. There all sabji tastes the same. No variations in shevbhaji, paneer sabji or veg kolapuri. Please have some good staff.

We had a stopover for food. The owner mr prateek thakre was very kind and polite. We had the chicken thali and manchow soup. And to tell you the food was totally worth the wait. Although they take a lot of time to serve but finally it was worth the wait. I think the reviews are for the old owner. Would definitely recommend eating here.

Best food with good rooms. Good place to visit during rainy and winter. Weather are best for youngster who love trekking, couples and family specially kids to have lots of fun. Just few Kms away from the hotel is Malshej ghat. Heard that new glass bridge would be getting opened soon. Would recommend to visit at least during the season.

Visited Rainbow hills on 23/24 July 22 with friends A beautiful location on highway while going towards Malshej specially looks beautiful during rainy season nice A/c rooms, with swimming pool, playing area and good quality veg-nonveg food excellent prompt services and hospitality by shri Ritesh Thackray it overall it was a nice stay.

perfectly located.. we have low expectations bt they surprised us. food was really good. as we were just after government permitted for dinning very few customers were there hence we experienced quick servings. liked it..!! overall a good experience to end the memorable trip. PS. place have a well maintained garden to roam around.

Best service with best view. Both restaurant and resort are best in class with quite affordable costing in natures heart. Menu of the restaurant is wide. The new owner is very good with very humble and disciplined staff. I can see many negative reviews but I think this are for the old owner. Must visit.

The worst hotel i have ever went, they were not having enough materials to cook Chapati, even they gave us cold chapati. The service was worst the other thing is we ordered soup for both veg and non-veg, he told us the soup will be served with the remaining food. This was seriously insane

It was an amazing experience. Had taken students from my classes for picnic to Kalu waterfall and stopped there for breakfast and lunch. The food and the service were amazing also the natural view surrounding the place is stunning

One of the best hospitality experienced so far. Polite and efficient staff. Excellent service and food. Cleanliness and hygiene was one of the best. Swimming pool is in excellent condition. Due to all these factors our visit was memorable one. Surely visit again place.

This is a nice place to stop for food on the way to Malshej Ghat from Mumbai. We went here in September 2018. The food is good and also the service is good. Although the menu is a bit limited. The place is clean and hygienic. The toilet is also very clean here.

Really good place to chill and relax and enjoy the nature. Owner is too good ask him any thing or req things he will definitely do it. Pool is nice you can ask them to clean if its not cleaned.

This hotel is based at good location especially you will feel good in rainy season..I had a chicken thali here and it was not cooked well and when asked waiter he didn't respond or change the plate. Poor is service ..taste is OK..

Last year visited first time. Experience was very good. But today observed that it has lost its neat ness and cleanliness. Also food test was so so... Service was also very slow. Some how expectations were not able to fulfilled.

It looks good from.outside....But very unhygienic....We had vada pav....Was ok...Better u try somewhere else.....Also tea was very watery....Washrooms are very untidy....No water around....Would not recommend anyone on future...

The service of Rainbow Resorts is very good, they take care of you like at home, the food is amazing, the surroundings are so beautiful. I don't want to go out from there, Malshej Ghat is only 15 minutes away, Hats off

Very nice ambience. Very nice food. Staff is friendly. Restrooms (washroom/toilets) are very clean and family can use them without hesitation. Location is very beautiful, with hills in the front of the restaurant.

Well if you just have to then eat here. I would not suggest as staff isnt that friendly and food isnt that great besides that it is over priced. The only plus is its on the highway and you get good parking space.

The restaurant is neat and clean. Sufficient space for parking and seating. Service is poor and food is average. Due to Malshej ghat weekends are expected to be crowded still they don't have enough staffing..

Not much variety available but good and reasonable food..Though food eating area is well maintained Wash rooms are not maintained properly.. Good if you are looking for typical Maharashtrian village food.

Hotel is good and changing clothed can be done here large space available but only thing is in tush hour food order come late after 40 min because shortage of staff. Here logging is also available

Refreshing spot to stop over for tea. Restaurent surrender by farmland and lots of vegetation is a perfect spot for light snack snd tea in your way to Junnar.

A place good enough to have some tasty snacks just near the Malshej ghat. All the MSRTC buses nowdays stop here. The Ambianxe is pretty in the rainy season.

Lazy staff. It took time to register the presence of new customer. Took order very late, and then served food from neighboring restaurant.
