I definitely did not enjoy my experience at this hotel. The customer service was extremely slow and terrible. We asked the hostess to give us sometime to figure out what we wanted to order… she left and never came back, I literally had to go find her myself. I ordered for dawa (hot water mixed with lemon, honey and ginger) other than the waitress taking forever to get the order right, the ginger was pounded UNPEELED! the waitress made no apologies for this… I had to send the drink back! If you value good service at a hotel… I wouldn’t recommend this place!

The food and service is amazing there. On Valentine's they hosted their band, Clefandbandana, who were exceptional. They gave such a Stunning performance from covers to their own songs, they truly made the occasion an unforgettable night for thre lovers on the day. Hotel Rio is amazing but the band is the cherry on top. If not mistaken, they play every Friday. Save a date when they are on, their live performance just makes the place come alive and their online presence is great as well. The rooms are neat,and the decor,unfortunately the floor tiles are shaky,in case of an earthquake then you can't be safe,food service is pathetic,very old staff ,take long to attend to you,same meal everyday no variety,they cannot allow you to invite a friend for some time unless you pay a visitors fee even if they won't eat.shower takes long time to heat up,no personal effects such as dentals you are not provided as compared to other hotels,in short it is systematically a low cost hotel.

Friendly staff but STAY AWAY if you are a tourist and concerned about malaria. They keep all the windows in the hallways and stairways wide open and there are NO screens in any of them. The hotel was filled with mosquitoes during our stay, including dead, squished mosquitoes on the walls of our room (GROSS!). They have mosquito nets over the beds but it'd be much preferable if they just put the slightest effort into keeping them out of the building altogether.

When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff. Our fixer negotatited a lower price for our room and we were brought up to it after about 15 minutes. The room itself had a nice view but the bed was not made. Beyond that there were empty here bottles scattered around the room as well as empty condom wrapper. My spouse and I cleaned the room and got rid of the garbage. After that our stay was wonderful.

I love the service,at the reception excellent, restaurant especially morning breakfast is perfect with very friendly waiters.... If visiting I would stay here over & over. You need to do something on your parking area.

It's located in Nairobi West. So many changes happen in infrastructure, service, variety of food. Sitting arrangement is good in cafeteria. Rooms are very comfortable, it has all facilities like lunch, breakfast, dinner, wifi, pick up & drop. Rooms are posh basically it's located in such area it has so many bear shop around. Most of people call as drunked place. I was paid 7000 ksh per night⏰

Well it has been a good place but not anymore. They have these stringent rules, a flexible traveller can't adapt. Yes we all run our business differently but also a hotel gets clients with different needs, and being so rigid with the rules to your customers that treat them the same way, it's discouraging. Your front office too needs proper training on customer service.A

Do not give your credit card to the hotel staff at the reception. They stole my card's data and tried to pull off money from it. My bank called me the next day, asking what was I trying to buy for two times EUR 500 (EUR 1000 altogether). Needless to say, I cancelled the transactions, but the sad fact is those kids try to rob their guests. Pay only in cash.

A small rural town, Premier Hotel stands out in the town, a place that offers very comfortable rooms at very reasonable rates. People in tomato, red onion & green grams business should visit the market for great deals on the items. Monday is the market day. The town is connected to power and has piped water.

The facilities are clean for sure. The staff are supportive and great. The only thing is you have to be keen where you park your car. I lost my spare tire in a span of 2 hours. This is a good budget hotel though and works 24 hours. The food is average, but can pass as good food when you're quite hungry.

A lot of mosquitoes, ask for mosquitoe net. Apart from that it's a good place to stay, price are reasonable and staffs are helpful! Update: they definitely worked on the mosquito issue! Enjoyed my stay this time around. Friendly staffs and clean rooms!

Went for lunch here. Sat outside which I loved the ambience. Had the chicken curry and passion juice. It was delicious and quite filling. Fast service and friendly staff. Enjoyed my meal. Would definitely recommend if you’re around Nairobi West.

I would describe Rio as basic place. The food was good but kitchen was slow. Breakfast was meagre but of good quality products. Shower was the biggest disappointment. Warm water took a lot of time to come.

Their service is top notch... the staff very friendly and to detail. Please try the mixed grill especially over the weekend.
