We had the privilege of visiting the Natural Museum of Natural Science recently, and the experience was truly memorable. The museum's layout was carefully designed, guiding us through different sections that covered a wide array of subjects, such as geology, paleontology, biology, and astronomy. Each exhibit was meticulously curated, striking the perfect balance between providing educational information and offering interactive elements, making the exploration of the natural world both enjoyable and educational. One of the highlights of our visit was the remarkable dinosaur exhibition. The life-sized replicas and immersive displays allowed us to transport ourselves back in time and envision the ancient creatures that once inhabited the Earth. Another remarkable feature of the museum was the planetarium, where we embarked on a breathtaking celestial journey, marveling at the wonders of the universe. The immersive show left us feeling inspired and filled with a profound sense of awe for the cosmos. To conclude, the Natural Museum of Natural Science is a destination not to be missed, particularly for those with an interest in the natural world. It provides a rewarding experience that seamlessly blends education and entertainment, making it an exceptional outing for friends, families, and inquisitive minds of all generations.

The Houston Museum of Natural Science is a very large museum with exhibits and collections of dinosaurs, Egyptian artifacts, shells, space, fossils, minerals, butterflies, and much more. There is even the largest museum store you will ever see too. You can easily spend a whole day here. My wife and I have been here before and wanted to see two traveling exhibitions, King Tut’s Tomb Discovery Experience and Sharks! The Meg, The Monsters, and The Myths. There was a long line to get tickets and a person working there suggested I buy a membership where would save money. Turned out he was right where saved $30 and was planning to return at a later date anyway. First thing I suggest is to eat early so head to one of the two cafés before it gets crowded or close for the day. Afterwards explore the museum. This place may seem like a maze where sometimes hard to find what you are looking for but there are volunteers to help you navigate around. There are some impressive exhibits to see. The two special exhibits were enjoyable and educational to see. Kids would definitely favor Sharks over King Tut. We had a great time and will return to see other things like the butterflies, planetarium, and movie.

The Houston Museum of Natural Science is a natural history museum. And let me tell you how much we LUV this museum! In particular, I am not really a gem stone person or rock lovers, but the collection here was unforgettable. Very dim in light on most of the displays, it allowed the rocks to shine. The collection was huge. Wow! And the fossil collections? There were so many variety of fossils being displayed here were not available in other museums. They were nicely shown throughout the entire exhibitions. The green house with tropical trees, plants, forests and man-made waterfalls, incredible. The indigenous section was very educational and also to showcase and honor the individuals who sacrifice and paved the way for better lives for the new indigenous generation. Moreover, we got to see the contribution and the history of the native land and culture so we are being educated and learn to respect every community who lives on this planet. During our visit, there as a special popup King Tut exhibition, wow! The display and setup was marvelous. We felt like we were at the King Tut’s Tomb. It’s super educational for children and adults alike. We really glad that we visited this magnificent place. It was definitely worthwhile.

Our visit to the Houston Museum of Natural Science was an absolute delight! This well-organized and clean establishment offers a secure environment that focuses on providing an unforgettable experience for visitors. The museum boasts four fascinating floors, each with its own charm. Among them, the lower level (below ground level) and the fourth floor (energy) stood out as our absolute favorites. The lower level housed the remarkable planetarium, enjoyable simulators, captivating puzzles, and engaging learning games. The fourth floor, dedicated to energy, provided a truly immersive experience with its realistic interactions and hands-on activities. From start to finish, our visit was filled with excitement, as we encountered unique exhibits and explored interactive displays that catered to a wide range of interests. The museum's commitment to engaging and educating visitors truly shone through, making our time spent there truly special. We highly recommend the Houston Museum of Natural Science. Its impressive facilities and rich educational offerings guarantee a memorable experience. Don't miss out on the fantastic planetarium, mind-boggling puzzles, and the opportunity to learn about energy on the fourth floor. This museum truly has something for everyone!

We went to the 3D show in the Museum. It's $10 extra to watch it. I would not recommend it to anyone. There are three main reasons for it. The first reason is that in the poster it says you can watch 3D without the glasses and it was not like that, it was a regular one with 3D glass. It was disappointing, but we stayed. And the second reason is that the show starts with an advertisement of 10 min. The nagging question I asked myself was that 10 min was why I should pay and watch an advertisement and that too in the 3D version. And the third and important reason is that, the video is not worth a 3D vision. It is a good documentation and I'll watch it on TV, but it is not a 3D material. We were 4 people and we all 4 were literally sleeping. We wasted our precious 40 minutes and $40. The recommendation I have for the organization is that kindly don't write something in the poster that is not true. You guys just lured us there. And have it as a documentation instead of 3D.

We were visiting family in Houston, so I took my 22 month old here, and she LOVED it. She's obsessed with dinosaurs right now, so when we went to that exhibit, she was very excited. It was our first time there, so the 4 main exhibits kept her pretty occupied. The dinosaur exhibit is 1st floor, 2nd floor has animals displayed (it was really cool) and fossils, which I'm not in to but it was nice. The 3rd floor had Egyptian sculptures. Not sure what's on the 4th floor because we didn't make it. We stayed for about an hour and a half before she was ready to leave. Which is a win in my book, as toddlers are hard to keep entertained for more than 5 minutes most days. Children under 2 get in free, but we had to pay $50 total for two adults. Parking at the garage closest to the museum cost $30, so we parked at the garage next to the museum hospital. Overall I would recommend this museum to family and friends.

As far as museums go, the Houston Museum of Nature Science is one of the best museums we've visited. Things are laid out so they can cram a lot of exhibits into the space that they have. This layout can make things maze-like at times but eventually you'll find everything. We give 4 stars due to the cost versus quality of the additional things you can do there. We paid more for the King Tut exhibit just to learn everything in that area were mockup items, not originals on loan. The IMAX movies were a bore, even to the youngest of the party members. The parking will run you $30 if you're a non-member. Our party had seen almost everything in about 2 hours, minus the shows, and felt like we made out better than our trip to Moody Gardens (which was triple the price). We would recommend to any museum or science lover.

On this trip to Houston, we decided to go to the museum of natural science. We wanted to see the King Tut exhibit. The parking in the area is very limited but they do have a parking garage, however, that will cost you an additional $30. But with the heat we currently have what’s an old man supposed to do. So instead of a long walk, we paid the $30. General admission is $25. If you want to see King Tut or the shark exhibit there is an additional fee. This place is huge. We saw the King Tut exhibit and some more of the Egyptian exhibit and by the time we were done with that we were wore out. To see more stuff we will have to come back and we look forward to doing so. There is so much to see and do in the museum district. Make sure you have your walking shoes because there is a lot of ground to cover.

Myself, husband and 2 children visited the Museum this past Sunday. We went to check out the Shark exhibit. It did not disappoint! My son is currently obsessed with sharks and dinosaurs. So the trip was especially exciting for him! When visiting, be sure to bring money for the multiple gift shops and snack bar. I wish we had planned to spend more. (I wanted a shirt!) I would definitely recommend the museum. It was a great learning experience for both children (7 and 11) as well as for myself and husband! I wish I had taken more photos, but I've added the ones I did take. (Remember when visiting, no flash photography allowed!) Overall, the visit was not cheap. Parking was $30. Tickets for 2 adults and 2 children was $125. We spent about $75 at the gift shops. If you are a member, prices are much cheaper.

I would rate this place a 4. We did the general admission plus the sharks. That was $35 per adult. For a big city, the admission is correct. Yes, special exhibits cost extra like $10 more, not $30 like someone said. Not sure where they got that from. You do not pay $60 total per adult, that’s just dumb. Museums in Chicago charge extra for special exhibits, no biggie. For just the general admission, you do have a few floors to explore. Elevators were working for those that need it. The shark exhibit was pretty small, I was hoping for something a bit bigger. However, you can touch stingrays before exiting to the gift shop. Rest of the museum was educational and there are cool things to look at. You can plan to spend a few hours or more there if you look at everything. Every Thursday, there is free admission from 2-5 pm - first come first serve. Parking is $30 for non members. Pretty high if you’re just visiting.

Our visit was 9 June 2023. Three adults, one senior, teenager. We started on 4th floor and came downward to the bottom. The Museum is excellent and there is much to do and see. You can spend a whole day there and be oblivious of the time. We went on a Friday but maybe during the week might have been better. There were many people and of course school is out. Overall, we learned, enjoyed ourselves, and are glad we visited. There was a couple of other events there we did not get the attend and would probably come back for them. Parking was okay, but you just have to determine where to park. Nice and cool on inside, that was why everyone was probably there also. You could eat there but there are other close by options outside around area. Felt safe in the area. You really have to go to see this place.

Visited with my kiddos (ages 3 & 6). Stayed longer than expected because there was so much to see that held the attention of the kiddos. The dinosaur bones did not disappoint and I was pleasantly surprised by the Ancient Egyptian exhibit and the Hall of gems and minerals; both are very large and well done collections. We bought a membership so we can return whenever we like and enjoy the Sugarland location as well. Looking forward to seeing that one. We bought lunch at the on-site shop with pre-packaged food because the line was long for the restaurant counter. Similar prices to the airport, but the sandwich was good. Indoor seating was very limited and packed at peak lunch time. There is an outdoor eating area that we didn’t choose due to the extreme heat.

I have 2 reviews for this museum. The first is for the butterfly exhibit. The exhibit is stunning. My 2 nieces were enthralled with the butterflies and the setting. I enjoyed watching them explore and learn more about our world. At the same time I also enjoyed the beauty of the display. My second review concerns my son’s wedding which was held in the museum. The main event was held in the lobby. With some added decorations, it was a lovely setting. Even better was the reception which was held in the Paleontology wing. It was breathtaking eating a meal amongst the dinosaurs, and watching the bride and groom dance the night away. I am so grateful for the assistance provided by the museum’s event coordinator. He was friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend the museum for a visit and for special events.

3 stars because PRICES ARE NOT AS ADVERTISED IN PERSON. It went from a $140 trip to $220 real fast. Just for admission. Pricing is very deceiving. In my opinion the “King Tut” exhibit is not worth the money. The hall of Egypt had wayyyy more awesome things and was included in the normal pass. Staff at the food court seemed to hate their jobs and were all rude. We went for our daughters Sweet 16 celebration and she had a good time because of course kids don’t pay attention to all that stuff and that’s all that matters to us. The website says allow 2hrs to explore but that is not nearly enough time if you want to enjoy the place. It definitely is worth going back a second time and spending the whole day there. Maybe we will encounter nicer employees and prices next time.

We showed up as soon as they opened, at 9am. They’ve done a wonderful job with updating the museum. It’s been several years since I’ve been there. We actually decided to get a membership this year because my kiddos are old enough now. I’d highly recommend getting there early (no lines), bringing your own food and water, and prepay for your tickets. We’re really excited to go back and check out the other exhibits later in the year and next year. The shark exhibit wasn’t worth the money and the space exhibit was basically a back room in the lower lobby. Lol. Not that I care, because the moon landing never happened. The butterfly exhibit was really cool. The additions that they’ve made to this was great to see. My kiddos loved it.

  • val chang

This place is so big you really need open to close to see it all. So let’s start by free Thursdays. The website is not updated so it’s only free from 5-8pm parking is $30.00 if you park within the parking lot however if you can find street parking or cheaper near I suggest that. Everything in the museum district is close together. Also the up-sale is the little exhibits which we skipped. However the museum is so fun and exciting. It’s for all ages being a stroller for little ones. All the restrooms are clean all the signs were easy to read to navigate a lot of benches to rest. Overall 10/10

This museum will always be a hit for me. I love the atmosphere and the amazing customer service. Only advice I give people is to buy your tickets in advance, especially on the weekends because they will sell out for their temporary exhibits. Also the lines on the weekends are huge so be prepared for that. The permanent exhibits are amazing and the food court is okay. We had the pleasure to see a movie in their planetarium called passport to the universe, the experience was lovely and something I definitely recommend if you get a chance to. Overall I always love the experience I get here!

I love this museum! One of my favs. If you have a family, friends coming in or just plan on visiting more than once a year, i definitely recommend getting a membership. The discounts are amazing and you also get access to HMNS in Sugarland. Each and every venue inside the museum takes my breath away ( the butterfly center, the giant screen theater, the planetarium). I also recommend getting there early. If you are a true museum goer, it could take about 4 hours to view everything comfortably. Also, utilize their convenient website and purchase tickets before you get there.

I've visited with CityPass. However, it's covered only the permanent exhibits. Special exhibits(tomb, shark, planetarium and cinema)should be purchased separately. I purchased King Tomb exhibit for $27(regular $35). To me it looks like overpriced. Just to visit his tomb and his belongings, it's overpriced. We can visit other mummies with citypass. Butterfly garden is cool. Dino skeleton, animal exhibits are too good to watch. Gem exhibits is also cool. Minimum 3 hours required to cover these. Museum parking is overpriced $30 .better park adjacent parking tower .you can pay around $12 over there.

Wow! What a wonderful collection. Will be bringing family and friends here when they visit Houston. The Farish Hall of Texas wildlife was one of my favorite stops. Super cool to see all the wildlife we have here in Texas! King Tut’s exhibit was very cool and had tons of info. Lots of exciting things to check out. The dinosaurs are a fan favorite obviously and it’s easy to see why once you’re there in person! Recommend getting a cool view from the 2nd floor. We started on the 3rd floor and worked our way down. Was a blast! The surrounding area outside is very cool to explore as well. Also recommend the butterfly conservatory, was beautiful! Will be back!

My family of 4 enjoyed our visit at the Houston museum of natural science. Parking was not easy to find, given that it was a holiday week. Once inside, we went to the counter to have out Citypass tickets scanned. The lady at the service desk was super helpful in Audi g me to find my “lost in cyber space-email” passes. This past weekend, we explored lots of exhibits. There were a few exhibits that were not on display. It was great seeing how excited my kids were about seeing dinosaurs bones, elephant, lions, and etc. Precious stones exhibitions are gorgeous. I wish I had more time to dive in more. So much to see and do. It was worth my time and money.

  • Clay Patrick (ClayDay)

This museum is amazing! My group ended up spending about 6 hours here and barely scratched the surface of what is available to see. It’s definitely something that could be made into a multi-day event. Every exhibit has interesting things to look at and learn from. I went into every section expecting it to not be nearly as cool as the last and was pleasantly surprised every time when I was wrong! My favorite area of what I had time to see was the gem and natural mineral section. Pressure and time create some amazing things!

Just went to the butterfly center. Not too many butterfly’s I expected maybe because of the season but still very good experience. My first time was over 15 years ago and brought me many good memories. I made almost 3 minutes in line so is the same if you buy tickets there or in advance. Before going in to the part all the butterflies are you pass thru an exhibition of animals that is very interesting but a lot of activities were not working. In general I like it and definitely will go back.

It's enormous! If you really want to see and enjoy EVERYTHING (which you SHOULD, as it's ALL AMAZING) you will need to visit multiple times (probably 3) and spend the entire day here each time. I strongly recommend an entire day for the paleontology hall alone. The special exhibits are usually worth it. This is one of the few museums where paying to be a member is actually worth it, as you will come here a lot, not only to see the permanent exhibits, but also for the special exhibitions.

Took my niece here for our first time here, and it's was so interesting. Kids friendly, and she was able to touch everything. It's a very interactive museum and she asked a lot of questions. We saw dinosaurs, animals, bugs and played outer space games. Bathrooms are available everywhere and water fountains for drinking and filling your personal bottle. Highly recommend getting a membership pass. Parking is available but free parking isn't in the garage. The butterfly exhibit was magical. Do NOT touch the bugs otherwise you'll be kicked out just like a family we saw today. Safe, fun and educational.

  • cws1184

Great museum, lots to see. We went for the King Tut exhibit. The actual King Tut sarcophagus is a replica but it's still very interesting. The butterfly room is definitely worth the visit. Two places to get food, for a museum restaurant the food is good. Don't forget to pay for parking before you leave the garage. Pretty easy to find, there's a couple of rotarys on the way which are a bit weird. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. Wear comfortable shoes there's a lot to see so you'll be on your feet a lot.

This place will need 3-4 hours if you are visiting with kids. However, if you're visiting alone, 2-3 hours should be enough. The museum is made of 3 levels. In addition to the ground level where you'll see a lot of fossils and dinosaurs eras. Some fossils had no tag or information, which I think was someone's mistake forgotten to add the information back. Nevertheless, $25 per adult was well spent here. The kids will love the place because there are many educational things.

Parking alone was $30. We did everything we could do there. Decent display of rocks and gems. The Shark exhibit was super lame. Couldn't even get close to any real sharks. The IMAX movie was garbage. It was nothing but a 40-minute Netflix documentary with very minimal dinosaurs. The best part of the museum by far was the energy floor up top. All in all, it was $300 for two adults and two kids. At the end of the day, even if it were all free, I wouldn't go back.

Absolutely stellar museum. Honestly, the best natural science museum I have ever gone to. The Paleontology, Fossilized Wood, and Gem exhibits were our favorites; but the entire museum was incredible. The exhibits were large with a plethora to see and learn about. I highly recommend getting there as soon the museum opens if you don't want to be stuck in crowds. It’s a great place for anyone to come inside afor a respite from the weather—and a great way to spend the day. The King Tut exhibit was much smaller than expected. Egyptian exhibit (outside King Tut) was more exciting. The regular exhibits are always a delight. Planetarium shows are a good variation and time selection. Three hour parking available nearby. Awesome butterfly exhibit! We visited Sunday and they had a farmers market going ! We had some Argentinian empanadas both sweet and savory. Go some freeze dried candies . Kids enjoyed the butter fly experience the best. Found a caterpillar inching around on the floor. They brought it to the attention of the staff and they got him scooped up and put away with the rest of them. Spent 5 hrs there and only saw the Dino exhibit and the butterfly’s.

What you need to know is that CityPass doesn't get you access into the butterfly, shark, special exhibits. I wish they did a better job of mentioning this at the box office because we didn't find out until after we walked down the floor and to the lower level of both the butterfly and shark exhibits...We weren't about to walk all the way back to the main floor to get tickets. The Faberge and Gem Vault made the trip worth it though. Highly recommend checking those out!

I love this museum but this new add on exhibit missed the mark a bit. It was 85.00 for 2 people. There was no parking, had to park at the zoo and walk in the heat. It was very anticlimactic sadly. There were some educational exhibits that were already not working and it was just a bit of plastics and lights…. Stayed for maybe 20 minutes. They spent more on all the billboards all over town than the actual exhibit.

Entry to most exhibitions was included with the Houston City Pass deal. When you go in, join the member ticket line (which is shorter) so they can scan your code on your pass. I paid $27 extra to see the King Tut's Tomb Discovery Experience. The whole place is amazing and there is so much to see and take in. I particularly enjoyed the gemstones and dinosaur displays but really everything was intriguing. Highly recommend when you are in Houston.

Worst Natural Science museum we've visited (and we've been to quite a few). Crowded beyond belief and far too expensive for what was offered. Each exhibit was a separate cost and parking fees were excessive. Exhibits were haphazard and confusing with very little educational value. The dirtiest museum I've ever been to. Just the worst. Certain this place made us sick. Don't waste your time, money or health.

It was truly amazing, so many exhibits to see and not enough time to get through all of them. Each exhibit has a cost of its own. I did the Butterfly exhibit, Regular exhibit and the Shark exhibit. The regular exhibit has the Dinosaurs and Egyptian history. It was great to see paleontologists there to answer any questions. The butterfly was very beautiful and loved the interaction with the different species of butterflies. The shark exhibit was great, you get to touch a little shark! I would go back to try the space exhibit.

Went to the museum this past weekend with family from out of town. The kids and adults all loved it. The richness of display from the dinosaurs, Texas wildlife, minerals and Ancient Egypt was something to see. Our tour was quick just because we had a lot of little ones who became eager to leave to go eat. Plan to go for a good part of the day if you really want to enjoy this gem!! I highly recommend this as MUST see for anyone visiting the Houston area. Even better it's minutes away from Herman park and the Houston Zoo.

  • Tea Street

This place is HUGE!! I recommend wearing comfy shoes because we had sore feet after 3 hours and we barely touched on viewing what was available. There is plenty of staff and guards around to ask info and help you find your way or answer photos. It is kept very clean. The bathrooms are clean and plenty for multiple people. When you walk in there are several cashiers to buy tickets and answer questions about exhibits and features. We are already planning our next visit. My daughter wants to have her birthday there.

  • Katherine Smith

So much fun for the whole family! Even on a busy holiday weekend, the wait for tickets and the crowd was manageable. I loved the Houston museum of natural science when I was a kid & it was really cool going back as an adult. I feel like there is so much more that they offer now! Do be aware that the rotating exhibits & butterfly center & planetarium all cost extra. Come early if you don't want to pay for the parking garage.

I grew up in Houston but have not been to a museum since elementary school. We went to the King Tut exhibit and SOME of the regular museum. It was all so fun and informative. I will go back for more , I just got very tired. My only suggestion would be a lower cost for the parking garage , I had to drive to the roof to find a place to park , so I'm not happy to pay $30.00 .

❤ Sunday Funday - highly educational & recommended! $25 per adult for the "main permanent exhibits". Soooo much to see - ensure you have at least 2 hours or ideally MORE to see everything!! Been ages since I'd been last - love all the modernization updates & changes (used to bring my 21 year old son occasionally when he was a kiddo). 1st time here for my hubby.

Pretty cool place, honestly would give it a 5 star but you have to spend a lot extra when entering to see some of the exhibits and I just am not a big fan of that. The place is very beautiful and well maintained though. Customer service was kinda garbage, definitely recommend on the city pass! The gem room was by far the coolest part of the museum I think.

I attended the evening Mixers & Elixirs event at the museum. This was the last event of the summer & I'm disappointed that it's my first time coming out! Great crowd, good drinks, beautiful exhibits, and entertaining karaoke made the night worthwhile. Food trucks added to the fun! I'll definitely put this event on my list for next summer!

First time visit and it was ok. Prepurchase for Sharks. Went to wrong museum which had free 1-hour parking. Found correct museum and parking was thirty bucks flat. I personally would've waited and not bought the over priced Sharks and stuck with the main exhibits. Fastest hundred in an hours time. Would go again but with different plans.

The sharks show isn’t as spectacular as we expected. But the Megalodon 1:1 statue inside is truly amazing! The Planetarium shows are amazing and very high quality. The permanent exhibits are all very classic. My kids love the dinosaur exhibit so much. The Second floor Texas Wild Animals and other animal exhibit look so real and cool.

Such a cool place to visit! I loved the Art mixed in with science. Even as adults we thoroughly enjoyed it. They have information about things all over the world, but also a lot about native Texas (animals, etc). Plenty of interacting available. There were guides in the dinosaur area that let kids touch different bones, etc. Last but not least, plenty of restrooms!

The special exhibition of royal jewelry is amazing. Don’t miss out! It’s my first time to witness the Russian egg sculpture with fantastic craftsmanship. Also, there is a high jewelry room at the end of the Gem stone exhibition. The dark room really help appreciate the shiny jewelry. I love the Sapphire necklace there.

We showed up at 9 and didn't encounter any crowds until we went to exit.

  • Kim S

We enjoyed our time at the Museum! The Houston City Pass can be redeemed at the box office window, and I highly recommend it! We spent about 3 hours, which included a n IMax movie… no extra paid exhibits. We were short on time. We parked in one of the free lots nearby which is about a 5 min lovely stroll by a water plaza. The museum had all the cool exhibits you would expect. Great place to spend the day learning and exploring!

  • Mike W

This is definitely a good museum with a ton of different exhibits to see. If you live in the area, I highly recommend a membership. The special exhibits usually cost extra, but the membership will get you into most of the museum without extra cost. We went through the Shark exhibit and it was alright, though I was expecting more. Overall though, a great visit and we'll definitely be back!

Four floors of intellectual fun. Took the kiddos and felt like I was having more fun, because some of the things there have been there since I was a kid myself. The swinging pendulum that knocks the wooden blocks every so often is still there; could probably watch it all day if I had all day to.

I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this museum. I did visit on Thur between 2-5 when it was free. Pretty busy but you don't really notice the crowds due to the size of the museum. I parked at the Caroline parking garage, a few minutes from the museum and paid around $11 for 3 hrs.

Fun experience for the whole family. There are additional fees if you want the full experience. The food was good and reasonably price. If you don't want to pay for parking. A 8 minute walk across the garden save you some money. There are also food trucks in the parking lot, check then out

I'm a museum junkie and I love, LOVE, this museum. Their mummy exhibit was absolutely mind-blowing, catch it if you could. Also, don't miss the jewelry and gem hall, so rare that one finds that much beauty, history, and science (and wealth!) in one place. You can easily spend an entire day here, so plan ahead.

Must visit place in Houston. I purchased the Houston City pass and planned to visit this place. It was a great choice. Minimum you need 5-6 hours to see the museum. Don't miss below section of Museum. 1. Tutankhamum Tomb History ( extra $25 need to pay ) 2. Fossil and Dinosaur 3. Stones and Metal 4. Mammals 5. History of Egypt 6. The Foucault Pendulum Overall it was a very good experience.

  • Venkat Krishnaraj

Loved the exhibits in the museums. Several t-rexs, mammoth elephants, triceratops, pterodactyls etc. I loved the quality of the skeletons. On the second floor there were several realistic animal exhibits and the third floor had a surprise toy train room (largest one in Texas). It was loads of fun

Nice museum to visit to learn about natural history. The Americas display has been updated to spotlight indigenous culture and people, which was very nice to see. We've had a wonderful day, visiting butterflies, seeing Tut's tomb and a sharks exhibit, along with the permanent ancient Egyptian display and of course, dinos and other prehistoric animals. We got to talk to some paleontologists while they cleaned up some ammonites. And we gawked at the wonderful many things in the gift shops!
