"Beautiful park"
"Small park with modern play equipment and plenty of space for pets and children to run around"
"Great little adventure"
What this park lacks in amenities, it makes up in it's serenity. Nestled between a quiet street and a hillside of trees, this park has the feel of a meadow. There's a playground with swings that's rather simple. The most exciting part of the playground is the pine tree that hangs low. There's ample free parking on the street but no reserved handicap spots or ramp. Plenty of benches and picnic tables but no restrooms or BBQs. Great place to bring your dog or toss a frisbee but probably not for an extended outing.
Calm and beautiful, surrounded by tall trees, playground for the kids. The music sounds great at this park. I think the trees absorb the sound so it doesn't bounce back. I always have a great time when I attend concerts here. It's a safe, relaxing, community feel. The crowd is mixed ages and everyone behaves and enjoys themselves. I'm looking fwd to attending more concerts here.
Beautiful park. They're were dogs here also, but no bathroom. They're some trails and a lot of trees. Next time I'll go with sneakers and a little backpack to get a little hike in and see what the park actually has to offer. There is a drinking fountain and some bowls for doggies to drink from as well.
Small park with modern play equipment and plenty of space for pets and children to run around. Only downside is during school days after school lets out, the older kids usually congregate at the park , play on the equipment meant for children, leave behind trash and sometimes fight with each other.
Great little adventure. I parked just off of Aviary and at first I thought it was just a long strip of grass with a playground but on the far west side of the grass into the shrubbery and along the wabash is a great trail all the way to Carroll. Elevation change, clear path, great hike.
Small neighborhood park, with some play equipment for youngsters, and an expanse of grass for picnics, or walking. Lined with trees on two sides. I recently attended the Symphony in the Park, a free outdoor concert series, held in Hoyt Park. Great time.
Great concerts fun place to hang out with the family on a Sunday with your kids on a playground swing
Playground
Children's playground with tunnels slides
Dog-friendliness
Dogs walking on a leash
Picnic area
A few picnic tables
Cool little park in scripps ranch. Fun playground for kids, big grass field lots of room to play tag or ⚽.. The best event that goes on here is the scripps ranch concerts in the park! Make sure you bring a blanket and be ready for a good time!
I want to give this park 5 stars but the lack of facilities is what drops the star. Play area is great. The location is phenomenal. Just not being able to run your toddler to the bathroom is hard, but workable. Starbucks is right up the way.
Well maintained park with play equipment I love ❤️ it. The only addition I would make is shade trees by rhe picnic tables. During these times of COVID I would take out the water fountain and leave a faucet for filling a dog's water dish.
Hoyt Park has a good playground and a nice field but it has no public restroom. This park would be vastly improved with a restroom. There are no organized sports allowed in the field but people can play around in the field.
The ground cover around the play equipment is awful, kids can't go barefoot and even with shoes, bits keep getting in their sandals! Why is there not Astra turf or something similar? Even beach sand would be better!
So cute! I had no idea this was here. Mini walking trails under the trees plus open green grass. Dogs okay on leash. Lots of benches. Seems pretty low traffic. Came on Saturday and not many people.
Decent park with plenty of space. Would love some more to the play structure and maybe a bathroom though! Has a street to park along that doesn't get too filled up. Lots of kids come after school
Nice quite community park tucked away in a little meadow (of sorts)... close walk to Starbucks, pizza, Mexican food, sushi and Vons grocery store. Large field, swings, and playset.
Pretty great park with a playground and sidewalk for kids to ride their bike. Also there is a huge open grass area to run or take your dog so they can stretch their legs.
Plenty of space for a huge birthday or celebration party. Lots to also play for sports and practice for teams. Came to visit a friend and kids loved playing here
Great park, good place to spend time with friends, throw a party, or play with kids/siblings. Has a playstructure, grill, and everything but plumbing...
Hoyt Park is a nice place to be with nature. Relatively quiet ... but the noise level does depend number of children per square foot!!! LOL!!
Parts of the park are very rugged. Easy to trip. Pretty small. Nice play area for kids. Quiet. Went there to watch Jimmy Buffet Tribute Band
My daughter and her friends love this park for social distancing during this pandemic. They play badminton and corn hole with face mask.
Lovely park with big green area. Sometimes there are concerts here. Wish there was a bathroom and shade over the playground.
We bring our puppy to the dog park everyday. I like that owners are more aware of their dogs instead of their phones, here.
Just a really great quiet spacious area it is well taken care of with green grass with a friendly surrounding neighborhood.
What a nice place to go and sit and watch the ducks and even feed them if you can remember to bring something....lol
Cute little park with a nice play area for kids. Lots of shade trees. Park is in a very nice residential area. More

Small and quiet park, with a large open field and playground. Perfect spot for reading or pickup sports
Great park, Love it. Not to much to say other than you should go if you are looking for a park to go to
I love how there is pretty much 2 football fields of open grass. My RC Quadcopter love's to fly here.
At the park for the fun run on 4th of July. Nice park and well maintained over the years.
It is a nice and small park between trees including a play ground,do not expect too much
Pleasant park with good play structure for kids and a wide grassy area. No bathrooms.
Overall a nice park but there’s much better around the area :) keep on the lookout!
Kids love this Park. Family safe, parking limited, grass, swings, slide, grass area

Hoyt Park is awesome! Especially it's summer outdoor concerts!!!
Beautiful spring wildflowers on the open field on the west side.
Grass looks unnaturally awesome, but hey... Awesome is awesome!
Good spot to hang out, avoid at night time; coyotes everywr
