Honestly the only thing this hotel has going for it is the location - and only if you are there for an event. The lobby is nice but as a guest save your money and go elsewhere. We are local but wanted a nice night away for my husband's birthday. It was either this or the Doubletree across the river. I should have saved my money and stayed there. We arrived and valet seemed totally confused on what to do. We visited the Tavern for drinks, which were awful. Either the bartender was horrible or they just use mixes for everything. For $18 a pop I wasn't wasting it. We got to our room and got this amazing view of the gravel roof. If people are coming to your hotel on the river wouldn't you try to place them with some sort of nice view? Based on other review this seems to be standard putting guests on that side . Try to avoid rooms in the low 400 range. Why do these rooms even exist? There is no bedspread. It's a sheet with a duvet that has no filling, covered by another sheet. Upon closer inspection it looked super stained. Next morning we went down to the market to get coffee and barista had forgotten our order. We thought it was just a long wait but she noticed us sitting there waiting and asked us what our order was. Such a let down! Not worth the money.

Spliffs or Cowfords nearby are good dinner locations. Skip the hotel food and drink!
Everything was great, clean hotel, good service all around. When there is someone that stands out especially in the customer service area or service area I can't not mention them because its rare in these days. Lemuel Parler is the guest service bell attendant and could not be more perfect for this job! He is funny, professional, helpful and just a perfect joy!!!! William in the bar is amazing and you can tell how much pride he takes in his job. There are details that some bartenders don't do, like if your going to shake a drink do it, he takes time, careful planning, and makes the most awesome jalapeno margarita ever! He had a full bar, never got upset always had a smile on his face and was awesome! The Hyatt is lucky to have these 2 on board for sure, and that doesn't mean that everyone else wasn't good, these two just went beyond the call of customer duty in my opinion. Compliments to the manager as well, a well lead group is a reflection on you!

Staff are great. Rooms are not worth the price per night. You are paying for downtown location only and that is not saying much. My room was a Junior suite but it looked like a room from 1970s think Brady bunch. I don't think the rooms have been updated at all. The bed was hard as a brick. And the heating ac unit was horrible I couldn't get the heat on I just ended up turning the unit off. The worst is the catered food in their conference center. Whoever made the decision to boil chicken then throw it in a steamed throw some paprika on top should be fired. I was sick to my stomach the whole night. This is not against the staff who all did great but to the head chef.

Very nice place to stay. Only reason for the 3 star and not 5 is the cost. I was here for a conference and absolutely nothing included or complimentary. Basic breakfast buffet that costs over $25. This is a very nice hotel and I can get the same breakfast minus the omelet for free at a cheap motel. Also please stop price gouging for basic items. A 20 oz soda should not cost $4.50 in the hotel and $2.76 across the street.

The hotel experience was decent, with the highlight being the stunning view from our room. It boasts multiple elevators and escalators for convenience and offers a 24/7 market, dining options, and commendable amenities. However, the room itself is outdated. Wifi is so bad it feels like it's non existent. Lacking a fridge and microwave, it falls short on modern conveniences. The beds are satisfactory, but the thin walls don't provide much sound insulation. The redeeming quality is undoubtedly the remarkable view from our room. The staff, notably the Filipino team members at the front desk and concierge, are exceptionally friendly and courteous.
We stayed for two nights. The biggest frustration was two things…the pool is under construction. Why not discount the room rate if your customer is not able to use all of your amenities? Also, the towels were very rough and the room temperature would not regulate. When we first got here, it was cool in the room but overnight and the next day the temperature didn’t seem to cool off. Not being able to swim or relax in the hot tub or regulate the room temperature made our stay very frustrating.

Great view
Did not appreciate room assignment. There is no view with closed in roof out the window. Room temperature could not be adjusted within room (broken) and extremely cold throughout stay. Feel that treatment by hotel employees encountered rates a no return verdict. The group we were with was a very positive experience.

Across from river which was interesting dolphins and bridges but with no seating by the river. Some nice restaurants within walking distance, Bellwether, D&G, deli and grill.
For all those weary travelers tired of overpriced accommodations, I highly recommend giving HoteIDuIIy.cᴏm a shot. Their price comparison tool is a game-changer, and this spectacular room rate is just one example. I was there for a weekend conference and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. My room looked over the river and the view was beautiful. The food was delicious, everything from the tempeh wrap in the small market to the sea bass in the main restaurant was perfect. The bed was comfortable and the halls were quiet.
I'm writing this based on an experience I had with their ballroom service. Went for the Navy Ball this year and the food was absolutely terrible. I sat at a table with 10 people and we were all in agreement. The chicken was dry, the Salmon was overcooked, and the salad was sitting on the table when we arrived and tasted like it had been sitting out for over an hour. The hotel seems to be on the higher end so I expected better service and I was quite disappointed.

Super disappointing—not a luxury hotel really. Bed was hard as rock. Feather pillows, allergic reaction. Minimalist room—weird little shelves where there should be a set of drawers. No microwave! Soap dispensers in shower were empty. Strange slamming noise outside building woke us through the night. Location is convenient to Florida theatre and FSCJ arts center as well as numerous restaurants.

Pros: Great location (less than 5-minute drive from all entertainment venues/Stadium). Rooms clean/quiet. Cons: Pillows are HORRIBLE/Terrible they look fluffy and comfortable however when you use them they deflate and become thin as a piece of paper-useless. Overall: I would stay here again but O would bring my own pillow.

Staff were professional and friendly. Walking distance to local eateries and bars. The room was so-so; toilet had weak flushing, no microwave, bed mattresses were lumpy, ac took all day to cool room, and the room smelled like old carpet. But it was clean and decorated pretty. I was in the 14th floor.

I wanted to write this review about Mrs. Lanez Coleman at the front desk she is a very lovely person and is very willing to help and go above and beyond to help guest. I enjoyed the conversation I had with her. 10/10 recommendations for this hotel, the room was great and the customer service was outstanding. Thank you Mrs. Coleman for being amazing.

We come here every year for SPN Con. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. 24 hour Cafe which includes warm or cold sandwiches, Starbucks coffee candy, cookies, wine, IPA beer etc. They also have a restaurant that serves buffet as well as single plate food. The bar is fully stocked and also offer food. We always enjoy our stay here

We were here for the Jax lighted boat parade and had a fantastic time. Here's what makes the Hyatt Regency Riverfront great-it's the team of people who work there! Everyone from check-in, room service, hospitality, and the valet are happy, pleasant and welcoming! Hat's off to you all, thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great stay. 5 stars. The only complaint would be the club lounge around dinner. There was basically a bowl of nuts and a couple bags of pretzels. The lounge was fantastic at breakfast.

Stayed here for the night for a concert in town and it was a very nice room with and great view of the river! The staff was very attentive and friendly! The bar staff was so fun after the concert! And the late night food hit the spot! We will stay here again! More
We had requested house keeping that never came, well they did come once at 4pm and we were showering at that moment to get ready for dinner so it was inconvenient. The room was fine although it said queen beds and I sleep on a queen bed and
My fiancé, our daughter, and I had a phenomenal visit! All of the staff were so friendly and interactive. The customer service made this trip unforgettable. They really go above and beyond! The view from our room was amazing! We got to see
We had a small snafu upon arrival. There was no hand soap in the bathroom. However, Jackie addressed the issue and she and the rest of the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The view from our room overlooking
Very nice hotel. Walking distance to Ever bank. Took 20 min to walk the mile. They have a 24 hr market down stairs with a bar and a restaurant for dinner. Right on the river. Plenty of parking next door on an adjacent parking garage. More
The location is great if you want to be on the riverfront. We paid for the view and it was nice. But the room was a wreck. The tub would not drain and the room had a terrible odor. They allow dogs, and we had a barking dog and screaming
Overall great hotel located central from all main highway connections. It's on the waterfront that is a big plus and not too far from the convention center. Hotel rooms were clean, many elevators to not wait too long, attached parking
Stayed here for a concert, and wow, what a view. I spent so much of my time walking up and down near the water. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. Pet friendly! And the views from the room, perfect! More
The room was great and suited my needs. I attended a conference here and it was easy access from my room to the conference facilities. The staff was friendly and the food prepared throughout the conference was excellent. More
Location was good. Valet service was perfect. Didnt enjoy the 2 mile walk from the elevator to our room at the end of the hallway. Whole floor smelled musty and the room itself wasn't any better, just smelled dirty. More
Super friendly staff Room was ok. The carpet in my room was a little dirty. Feather pillows are great if you like that. My only real problem was the mattress . It was too stiff
This is a business hotel, much like other Hyatt Regency hotels. The rooms are standard, albeit not on par with the likes of say Orlando.
