"Popped in here this evening"
"I've been shopping there for years so I beg your pardon when I say this"
"Worst store ever The store manger is rude as hell always outside smoking and the other manger can't do much the had a 17 year old serving on the till and service someone alcohol witch is against the law he was rude and unhelpful I will be going to trading standards about this waiting for ever in the line with only one person on the till and no one coming when the bell is rang the weird security guard as well he puts people off and he scared my wife you need to sort your store out and sort the mangers out and some of the staff"
"This Iceland is called a Warehouse as it has so many freezers but are all pushed up against each other so you have to walk the whole shop to get to the food you need"
"The security guard, Raj, is the worst ever"
Popped in here this evening. Mum asked kindly for cranberry sauce and was told by a member of staff that it was out of stock. Luckily, she had a look for it herself just to be sure and good job she did! As there were small jars on the shelf. Lots of items on shelves and in freezers and fridges! The security guard wore a mask but did not wear it over his mouth and was coughing continuously. - Not good! Nice to see that there were a load of tins of sweets near the tills ready for Christmas! 2 for £8 YUMMY <3 There were only two tills open tonight so I am not sure how busy this store gets on a regular basis and maybe they could change this? Overall a very good store! A very good place to shop to stock up on freezer food!
I've been shopping there for years so I beg your pardon when I say this.... I was furious and disgusted with the customer service the store manager(new) was glaring at me and security follows me n my partner around the shop I felt so uncomfortable to shop while they were focusing on me and treating me like a thief people who were actually stealing walked out the shop of they checked there CCTV instead of judging thier fellow black counterparts they would have been aware I don't know either il be shopping there again such a shame as I've been shopping there for at least 8 years
Worst store ever The store manger is rude as hell always outside smoking and the other manger can't do much the had a 17 year old serving on the till and service someone alcohol witch is against the law he was rude and unhelpful I will be going to trading standards about this waiting for ever in the line with only one person on the till and no one coming when the bell is rang the weird security guard as well he puts people off and he scared my wife you need to sort your store out and sort the mangers out and some of the staff
This Iceland is called a Warehouse as it has so many freezers but are all pushed up against each other so you have to walk the whole shop to get to the food you need. Also they have 2 entrances but only payment sites at one end - really badly designed shop + they have NO signs over freezers telling you what is where. Good multi various foods but Shop is very badly designed & laid out. Needs tills at both ends of this massive shop for starters. Love your grub Iceland but shop needs a re-think in it's layout sorry.
The security guard, Raj, is the worst ever. My daughter and I were in there yesterday and he came to the checkout when we were packing our goods. I bought 2 boxes of cereal which she passed me to put on my mobility scooter. He pointed at them and asked if we'd paid. We said yes and asked the cashier who also said yes. He then said how many!!!. This was in front of other customers, he made me feel like a criminal. I know people do steal but he's over the top. I will never, ever shop in that branch again !!!!
It's not the biggest Iceland but they manage to get plenty on the freezers, fridges and shelves. They have a dedicated vegan freezer mostly comprising Iceland specific produce. The shelves above the freezers are tightly packed and this is the only downside of the smaller store is that everything is a bit higgeldy-piggeldy so you end up with a seafood freezer beneath orange squash and biscuits. When I went there was a limit on customers in the store at one time and masks were strictly enforced.
Friendly staff at till but absolutely no reminding customers to wear a mask which the web site says they do. Completely surrounded by about 20 other people with no masks, talking to each other, one staff with no mask. Its supposed to be mandatory but the guy at the door does nothing. Furthermore, you cant make feedback on the website without giving all your personal info. Privacy or what!!!! Name, email, phone, house number, post code. Not impressed with corporate iceland.
Outstanding, Excellent and Well Done. I walked past your store today and I just want to commend you guys. You’d shut your doors to control the madness of people who were destroying your work environment. I looked in and there was calm and normality. Your selves were stocked and well presented and the customers looked to be behaving. So Well Done and you get a standing ovation from me. You need to be proud of each and every staff member.
It is a supermarket after all, I can rate it's service and cleanliness. This Iceland could do with one more member of staff to cut down on the queue length, it's a small store so the number of buyers can sometimes overwhelm the staff here, but they are quick to rectify this issue, most of the time. Other than that, Iceland is Iceland, come here to buy your everyday groceries.
This is one of my local "go to's"! The staff are absolute sweethearts and always go out of their way to assist you! Also, because Deptford is one of the few places left where there is a sense of community, there is a strong community spirit in here! Hopefully the Gentrification that's happening around here won't destroy this!
I like this store so much, it's clean and well organized .They have nice frozen food for everyone,it's perfect for a busy mum or dad as you can buy a ready meal put in the microwave and ready to go.The service is outstanding at all time. Its a pleasure to be there:).Thank you guys for making us customers happy …
Wide range of frozen and chilled/cupboard food, including a huge range of bread. Much more than you expect from an Iceland and good for a weekly shop. Staff almost always friendly and happy to accommodate slow packers and people who've forgotten their bags.
Pleasant shopping experience Used home delivery service for heavy shop - Many 3 it bottles of coke! Handy service but delivery drivers not allowed to bring shop into house, unlike Tesco drivers who will unload to kitchen ect. (At their discretion) .
Unfortunately with the lockdown, we can't go to the other Iceland with the geysers and volcanos, but this one did have a selection of frozen seafood and frozen fruits that are pretty decent. It's probably all we can have during hard times.
GREAT Staff, VERY helpful. Dashed in there, last night, just before closing. They let me in and didn't RUSH me, though obviously I had to be quick and couldn't mess about. Even helped put some items in my trolley for me, from shelf.
You can never get a sapce outside, so it limits what you can buy, for example I wanted the 24 pk of water but the car park is 4 min walk plus with other bags. Chicken freezer coukd do with re-stocking. The queuing was quick though.
If I could give less stars I will do. The staff, guy at the door and manager are just the worst customer service I ever had seen! They are rude, if you ask for something they complain about having to talk to you. Avoid this shop.
Considering I went on Valentines, they had the basics needed and even flowers. Shame we went in the afternoon as all the good stuff was taken. Well stocked for basic groceries and even managed to grap some Grown your own thyme.
The man that answered the phone today was sooooo rude like wow anyways been waiting for my stuff for almost 2 hours and he was just rude in the way he spoke with his ghetto tone. But cool just gimmi me tings fam
Not happy with visit today. Two long queue of customers and two slow cashiers. When cashiers rang bell for assistance man in charge started to shout out .Not good service.left shopping in basket and went to add a.
Really friendly staff, I've worked there as a delivery driver for 5 years now But must admit since the cost of living went up so did the prices, if you down load the mobile bonus card app you get some deal.
It's an Iceland. If you like Icelands this is another one. Limited choice but good at frozen food and decent prices on some other items. Combine with your other favourite supermarket for all your needs.
Good variety of foods & prices to cater for the eclectic mix of people who shop on Deptford High Street & the surrounding area. Staff are friendly & the shop is kept well stocked.
good valued stuff, i buy coconut milk here regularly. sometimes they rearrange the shop too much, which gets me a bit vexxed from time to time. but overall some really good stuff
It is what it is, but that's fine. Don't expect anything massive exciting and the booze selection is pretty poor - but it's cheap and convenient and that's sometimes all we need.
Good range of products. Busy at times. Found aisles difficult to pass through with product baskets and customers browsing - just need a little patience and it is worthwhile.
Iceland is special for those couple of frozen goods to stack the freezer. Love their hot and spicy wings. Frequent good deals on soft drinks which is a big plus for me
Not a bad store, just moved into the area and the staff were friendly and approachable. Still a very good place to do cheap shopping and still friendly staff.
The customer service is so poor they don’t offer much staff. Today when I was buying groceries the queue was so long as there was no staff in the till
Iceland food just gets better and better. Particularly enjoying right now the palm oil free Iceland own brand, and the vegetarian and vegan range
I've used this Iceland for my local shopping since 2006. Great staff, good service, and a pretty decent range of items for a small supermarket.
Big branch with traditional iceland foods available. Situated next to a bus top for easy access. Quick checkout at the till. Open till late
Food is decently priced. Come here at least once a week. Apart from the pervy old security guard, the staff are friendly and efficient.
We always buy food but little expensive price but wish more money saving up important my health for diabetes and twin their love food
Been going in there for years and every single time the security guard stalks me no matter what. The other staff are usually lovely.
8pm-15 nov 2022- Very helpful security guard and another staff member pointed me in the right direction, bacon sandwich sorted! ;)
Great value food and choices of items like most other Iceland stores, it’s a great place to get all your stuff at a decent price..
Busy but hardly anything to buy, freezers more than half empty, plenty of yoghurts and butter etc, but no bread, no toiletries!
As to be expected great produce at fantastic prices. 30mins parking right outside supermarket or bus stop not too far away.
I am slowly but surely starting to find Iceland prices are going to match M&S very soon. And I know we're I would prefer.
A friendly store with helpful services. It's newly refurbished so it the layout is great, even easier to find products.
I just love a good buy when I get one they were great for the pounds but slowly to moving a way …
A large varity of food and drink, both fresh and frozen. Prices are reasonable and affordable. Friendly helpful stuff.
Nice local shop. Friendly staff. Some items are too overpriced as can get it cheaper at asda store just down the road.
Iceland ix Iceland. You get good stuff for what you pay but it's mostly frozen. Fresh fruit and veg limited
Good special offers Iceland can't be beaten on frozen food but small store so lacking in variety
Great supermarket for good grub great prices if your in UK on a budget shop here for groceries..
Not bad... disappointing lack of xmas vegan options, reduced to fit all the meat in, I suppose.
Really weirdo customers.. Sometimes aggressive. The shop has everything the Iceland shops have.
Iceland has always been one of my favourite place to shop but the need more people at the till
Surprisingly well stocked considering the current food shortages everywhere else Great service
Good little Iceland has most stuff but not a lot will have all your essentials things though
I visited Iceland and I needed help. The staff member " becky" was very helpful and cheerful
Shop here every day. Staff are amazing and shop is always well stocked with bargains
Iceland great place fore frozen food or anything else you need for very good prices
Fine selection, always not enough checkouts open for amount of customers queueing
Very helpful staff good friendly shop nice to see some happy people for a change
Good range of products and at good prices and staff are exceptionally friendly!
Cheap and convenient, probably the cheapest grocery on Deptford High Street.
Staff very nice ,shop clean and easy to move, just not much ice cream …
Well stocked Iceland. Sometimes you have to queue for a while to be served.
They have taken off the fruit in favour of Christmas stuff which is sad
Friendly helpful staff but always need to check use/best before dates
A decent size store, they usually have majority of the things I need
Always halve of shelves are empty and never got enough carrier bags
It is what it is an icelands but the staff do add that extra to it.
Friendly but very difficult to find what you looking for as always
Just your standard Iceland. Staff look sad to be working there tbh
Good variety of frozen and fresh food. Helpful and polite staff.
Day are trying with the prices let hope they keep on top of it
Friendly staff, affordable items and always tidy. …
Good selection, good prices. Organised aisles. Polite staff
Lots of choices, reasonable price, and closed to my home.
Decent stock, I found the fruit to be fresh and lasted!
A lot of choices on frozen foods with reasonable price
My local food shop, friendly staff and security guard.
Exactly what you expect from an Iceland. It was...fine
Well stocked, reasonably priced. Staff are helpful.
I appreciate the security offer at the door helpful
A bit on the small side. Ideal for top up shopping
