My front door lock needed replacing and I reached out to Spencer based on previous reviews. He was exceptionally professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. He arrived quickly to assess the situation and also to replace the lock itself. While he was replacing the deadbolt he made me aware the doorknob below also needed replacing. He educated me about Weiser’s warranty policy and also helped me to navigate communication with them. When the new lock arrived Spencer returned to install it as well and insisted on doing the second installation at no additional charge. I highly recommend Spencer and Ideal Lock and Service and I will definitely be referring him to friends and family and wouldn’t hesitate to call him should I require assistance in the future.

Spencer did a great job in installing two deadbolt locks for me and the fee was very reasonable. I contacted him on Tuesday and he came on Thursday to complete the work. This is the first time I needed service from a locksmith. I was very surprised by how young Spencer was. I was particularly impressed by Spencer's great respect for his father whom he worked along side with, who taught him the trade and from whom he took over the business upon his retirement. Spencer learned from the best as he produced quality work. It is very rare and refreshing to see a young professional who is so good at his job plus with a great personality. It is very hard to find good trades people nowadays due to their lack of experience.

When I first called, Spencer was very honest as he pointed out that I could claim warranty to avoid needing to buy a new lock. I ultimately needed his help in removing the existing hardware and install a new set, which he booked me in for the next morning since it wasn't urgent. The entire process was smooth and quick. Spencer was very attentive: he helped me tighten existing hardware that he didn't install (because it bugs him that things aren't right!), and adjusted the door and frame to better accommodate the new hardware (my door has never operated this smoothly!). A+ in service and would highly recommend.

Pulled up to their address, Spencer came out, I gave him the key And he copied it twice In less than 5 mins. Got home, tested the keys And was satisfied when I unlocked my home door. Their service was quick, easy, and Really fckin affordable. I was expecting like $40 charge, but he only charge $10 to copy a key. Spencer himself is a rlly chill dude that gets the job done - QUICKLY too. Nothing else to say. GO HERE if you need something done with a key or some sht. TRUST ME. Get these guys some clout

Spencer is amazing, honest, caring & saved me money. I phoned him to come fix my lock. While on the phone he realized that I can get a replacement under warranty. I got and installed it but had problems. Again phoned him to come do it but he helped me in 10 minutes over the phone. It's perfect now, Thanks to Spencer and how good he is. Instead of running to get money out of my pocket, he offered me to help on the phone and gave me an honest advise. I would definitely recommend Spencer.

We moved and wanted our locks changed and a keypad. Spencer was great. Initial call he gave me a rundown and recommended a couple keypads for my door. He said call him when they keypad came in and we could work out an appointment. I called when the keypad came in and Spencer came that day. He was courteous, quick, and did a great job. Answered all questions and was very knowledgeable. The process was quick and it was so seamless and easy. 100% would recommend.

When I first called Spencer he was unable to come out, but he took the time to try to help me over the phone. An hour later he texted me to see if I had sorted out my problem (which I hadn't). Spencer was extremely helpful. I couldn’t unlock my front door and called Ideal Lock and Service. Spencer suggested I try WD 40 (before I incurred the cost for a home visit) and it worked!!! I have used Ideal Lock and Service twice. The first time Spencer repaired my lock instead of changing it in order to save me money. The second time I needed both locks replaced. Very responsive - called him at 8pm and he offered to help duplicate an apartment key. Easy to talk to - he immediately told us if he could do the key. Reasonable priced! Only one of the keys worked, but he was very friendly to help troubleshoot and fix the problem. Would recommend!
