RUN THE OTHER WAY, DON'T DO IT, RECONSIDER... This is by far the worst school that I have enrolled my children in, I really thought that they were going to get a really good education experience with Clay Classical Academy. All they got was an experience and I learned not to go by what the Principal and the Administrators say. Within the first few weeks a teacher quit, and then another teacher quit and stole all of the school supplies from the classroom. The fundraisers are a joke, and somehow money vanishes in that area too. There is no organization at the school what so ever from the school uniform vendor to the school supplies and anything else that they try to have going on. It is like a parody of "Dangerous Minds" but not as bad, but with the teachers that they have they may as well be. Its no wonder that the school changed their name, there is nothing classical about the school except their tactic to get more money out of the parents with no results and they are a CLASSICAL MESS. I am glad the students who left comments previously are all RAH RAH SISS BOOM BAH about the school, but trust me when I tell you that is not the case at all. Truth be told the seats at the school do not fill up fast at all. Riddle me this, if the school was so great then why are majority of the teachers gone already or leaving. There is no capacity for the students to learn anything when the teachers change up monthly or you put all grades in a classroom together. They claim that they are against bullying but I really think that they are the "Flava Flav" when it comes to handling bullying at the school. If your child has any learning disability or differences, this is surely not the school for them. At this point I would enroll my children in a DISD school before taking them back to Clay Classical Academy. I am well ware that this will be public , and I stand by every words that is on here, this is just how seriously disturbed I am with the way the school turned out to be. I hope that the higher ups they answer to get to see these comments and start to inquiry as to what is really going on. I guess I will give then 1 star but I really do not think they deserve that.

I LOVE the diversity, the Christmas program was in English and Spanish (they even did a New Edition rendition). The school has professional dress up day for the grade levels 3 and up (vital in the work place). The staff is dedicated in producing leaders and entrepreneurs. Everyone is accessible, and truly have a love for the students and most of all the kids are determined and get excited about going to school and learning. If I had a complaint it would be to add more extra curricular activities in place of after care AND fees. Change food vendors, and add more uniform distributors.

My six year old son was threatened by his first grade teacher, Mrs. Gwendolyn Williams, that she would call the police on him as a punishment when he was defending himself while being messed with in the bathroom. Who in the right mind will do this to not only a child, but a black boy in this day and age in America. This is what happens when uncertified peons become teachers I guess. One star is giving entirely way too much credit, trust.

I am a student who has been with the school for 7 years. I love this school and it has really been an experience. The food is quite awful but it is some what edible [if you like slug] but the school's education is very good and the teachers are very nice. I would suggest for your child to come here

Awesome school the staff loves the students. Very appealing easy to talk to. You feel like you can trust that your children is safe and getting a good education. Although my son does complain about the lunch that is being served. My overall rating is still a 5.

A very hard working school with a devoted staff. I'm pleased my children go here, where even my 6 year old loves to be.
