Removing my 5 star review because of few recent purchases with meat quality. Ribeye is supposed to be a very good cut, when I buy it from anywhere else, it is perfect, in the two times I bought from here , it is almost inedible. The last time, when I asked for top sirloin availability, I was told yes we have, and the cut I was given is the worst meat we have ever bbqed. Top sirloin is a great cut but I was given the meat that used for ground beef I suppose. I try to always support local shops but it seems it is not the right thing to do when it comes to meat.

Living in the Rockies. Driving all the way to Calgary was worth visiting this store for any Indian or whoever loves Indian food. You have everything possible under one roof in this store. The amount of spice mixes was unbelievable and the variety of products from An Indian store one would buy back home it's all here. Will surely come back every month and would highly recommend it to all. I got the Pani Puri . You can also call them n check for certain products if it's available. Nice family running the store.

So so happy to have found this place! It offers just about everything I need to fulfill my desi cooking needs and at a decent price too. They offer a vast variety of South Asian and even some Middle Eastern snacks, spices and other goods. Fresh meat is quickly made and cheaper than grocery stores like Safeway, etc. Staff and owners are lovely people that really make you feel like you’re at home! :)

I have been shopping at Indian Aroma for many years; the store stocks almost everything you need, especially when it comes to Indian spices and halal meat. The personnel are very courteous and efficient, and are always ready and willing to offer assistance, especially Basheer, Shirin, Mohammed, and Wasim. It's an excellent store in the Ranchlands catering to the NW community!

Good service. The owner knows his cuts of meat. He may be a tad pushy and tell you if he thinks what you are getting is the wrong cut for the item you are making hehe. There is another person for an African country who is employed there. Very helpful person. Glad I found this location on days I don’t have the time to go to the NE. Price is ok. Good quality meat.

I've been buying halal meat at Indian aroma as well as other ethnic items. I can say for sure that their meat is the tenderest and best in the whole of Calgary. Also Shabbir & Shirin Khambatti the owners are ethical and honest. Moreover Wasim and Mohammed the two butchers are also excellent. We are highly satisfied with the meat they supply

Great place for South Asian 'desi' grocery items. Service is great, place is clean. Lots of variety. Prices are no different from other similar stores. What makes this place wonderful are the smiles and warmth with which service is delivered. Also, they typically have marinated chicken ready for bbq - which is a plus when I am in a hurry.

While moving to NW side of Calgary...I was worried about getting all the "Desi" items nearby....Indian Aroma was the answer to my problem....they have everything we needed. The only thing about this shop is the space is a bit too tight in every isles. Only one person can pass through the isles at a time.

Ome of the best Indian stores I've been to in Calgary. You get all the Indian groceries and the best part is that the Indian couple running the store are the most kind, humble and generous people I've ever met. I would highly reccomend this store to anyone looking for Indian spices or groceries.

Indian grocery store in North West Calgary within proximity and has great collection of Indian and Asian supplies. Very friendly lady at the counter and helpful people. I will be visiting regular as it's close to where we stay and get most of the desi stuff

one of the best desi store i’ve been to, anything and everything you can buy in pakistan is here, from k&n’s to all the masalas. you name it and they have it. moreover, one of the kindest aunty runs it and they’ve got great customer service.

Great place to get products from Pakistan/India that you wouldn't be able to find in other stores. You can also get halal meat here as well. Prices may be slightly higher compred to giant grocery stores, but you get what your looking for.

Great selection for a fair price. I wouldn't bother with the frozen precooked meals though; it's all curry and very little meat. I got the kofta ball curry and there were only 2 balls in the entire tray.

We use to drive to the NE but Indian Aroma has a great selection and great prices. In is a gem in the NW, conveniently located minutes from Crowfoot. Lots of parking too.

I went there on someone's recommendation. It was well organized store but the prices were way higher as compared to other desi stores for frozen items (naan, paratha).

You can find alot of pakistani stuff you looking for but they are expensive and strongly never give bill with serate price for each item instead give collective bill.

You never feel that you are living in West when you enter in Indian Aroma. You can get every Desi foods, masala, meat, refreshments items .

This grocery store in on the way to Banff, has all basic desi food items and has cooked food meals too like Butter Chicken, Daal gosht etc.

Price seems a little bit expensive compared to the NE stores. Fresh meats every week. Have all sorts of spices for East Indian cooking.
