As a 52 year insured by Farm Bureau I’m finally ready to entertain other options. The cost is higher than other insurers but that’s not the issue today, it’s the poor Roadside Assistance. Last night at 7:45 I made the 1st call to RA and it wasn’t long I got a text that a wrecker would arrive in 15 to 45 minutes. An hour later I called the Towing Company and they said they weren’t dispatched to my location and weren’t available. After several calls and texts and over 2 hours in to this mess a company contacted me and said it would be at least 2 hours before they could make it. I decided to get a ride home and wait. At 1 am or so I fell asleep and got up around 5:30 and still no car. I got a couple texts overnight from FB while I was asleep and responded when I got up and 3 hours later they haven’t responded. I contacted the towing company and they say they will get the car soon. I’m 12 hours into this cluster and still waiting.

I'm not sure if the agents are understaffed or just not trained properly. The service they provided was very polite and got absolutely nothing done with a smile all the while. My vehicle was struck while I was parked on the side of the street. Clearly I was not liable. It took them three weeks to determine that and then almost a month have someone look at my barely drivable vehicle. Five days have passed and I still haven't heard anything back. When you call to inquire about a claim you will ALWAYS be directed to someone's voicemail with hopes that they will return your call. If you rely on your insurance provider to assist you in a timely fashion when you actually need them for the services you pay for monthly, this is not the insurance company for you. They are very polite when giving you the run around. I guess that counts for something.

I'm usually not the type to complain, but this has been the worst experience with roadside assistance of my life. From the customer service representative getting my phone number wrong, not getting texts about the ETA, having to call back and wait for them to find my lost "profile". I told her that my car has a key you have to use for the lug nuts, which I don't have, hence why I called roadside assistance. She said she would pass along the information. Then the guy shows up an hour later and doesn't have the tool to do it. She didn't tell them. Now I've been on the side of the road for an hour and a half, waiting on a tow truck who they say is another 30 minutes away. It's 80° out by the way. This is the worst.

Avoid at all costs- don’t let the price fool you. I paid for insurance coverage that would’ve started on 04/06 and had to unfortunately tow my vehicle on 04/11. When I call roadside assistance, they couldn’t validate my insurance coverage or that I was covered for RA. I had to manually pay $300 for services while stranded on a busy highway- all because for some reason whoever was supposed to process my insurance just didn’t. Do not buy an auto policy with them, this case of negligence put me at so much risk driving.

Farm bureau is an Indiana based company which has been in business since the 1930's. They offer several different types of insurance including whole life, term life, and car insurance. Throughout their history they have offered products attractive to Farmers and their families, yet farm bureau is for anyone with insurable interest in almost any state. Their facility is conveniently located downtown. They encourage recycling and other green practices such as "paper light" within their operations.

HORRIBLE EXPERIEN E THAT COST US THOUSANDSRhonda Thomas agency in Beech Grove handled our insurance for years. We added a third vehicle in August and after a few months had an accident with that vehicle. During the claim process, we learned that the Rhonda Thomas agency never sent us the contract to sign and now we are out thousands of dollars due to the policy never being activated.

Dear All, Please dont go with this insurance company as these people cheat and increase the prices without notification. There service is so poor that there account manager will disappear once you sign with them. They will abruptly charge yours payments and once you reach them there team will reply after 1 month once. These people charged me a membership fee, 8 months after i had cancelled my policy with them. They took the money from my bank account, and when i caught the charged they said they sent the money in a check. Honestly its 2020, put the money back where you stole it from. That is so underhanded.

I was in a car accident that involved three different insurance providers, and by far Farm Bureau Insurance was the easiest to work with throughout the whole ordeal. I highly recommend them, and appreciate the simplicity of working with people in claim situations.

Very racially motivated bias company...called to cancel my insurance for a typo on the application..we are not underwriters, we are customers! Application mistakes will occur! Technology is not a replacement for human interaction!! Where is my refund

Got a tap to the rear of my 2022 auto. Farm Bureau asked once what happened then authorized repairs and rent a car. Wierd part was $2,500. damage to my car. Their insured had 5k to his pickup. Thank you Tom Bennett car looks good again. Eric Johnson
