My sweet pup ate some toys last weekend- and after being unsuccessful with getting her in at a different emergency vet, we brought her here & Dr. K was able to get her in immediately, get an Xray, and determine that she needed surgery all within an hour. (Not to mention- the day after Christmas). He performed surgery that day, and called me with updates through the whole day. I took her to an overnight facility for monitoring overnight and brought her home in the morning, but she unfortunately never started to get back to herself the next day. I brought her back to Dr. K who got her back on meds and fluids immediately, and although she didn’t end up pulling through, he was by her side until the very end. He performed CPR as soon as he noticed her breathing slow down while he was laying with her. He even did a necropsy free of charge so that we could try to determine what went wrong. Thank you Dr. K, for taking care of my girl and doing everything you could. My Nala could not have been in better hands. The whole team was so supportive and patient and kind with me, and let me visit with her for as long as I needed to after she crossed over. She was my everything and I am so thankful that I decided to bring her here. I miss her more than anything but if there is anything I can do for other pet parents it is to tell you to trust this place with your baby. They care so much about you and about your animal.

Indianapolis Animal Urgent Care I had to go here tonight for an Emergency because a dog got loose under their fence and attacked my babies while we were on our walk. My little Yeti got the worst of it. I was calling everywhere trying to get them in and a place recommended this clinic; it was like an angel pointed me in the right direction. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Dr. Murphy (who owns the clinic) and he brought me straight back to a room and examined Yeti & Dirk. Yeti needed stitches and Dirk had a superficial wound; thank goodness Boston was being a protector and kept this dog from doing further damage. I was an emotional mess, and he was so kind, patient, positive, and treated my pups like his own. I also wasn’t taken advantage of because after looking at Dirk they decided he didn’t need to charge me for him and when most vets these days would charge me just to see if he needed further help. Also the clinic was clean, comfortable, and beautiful inside & out. They don’t do regular vet visits and hopefully you never have to take your pet to an ER vet but if you do and you’re near the downtown area or surrounding please check this place out. You won’t regret it and thank you for putting my Yeti back together again

Indianapolis Animal Urgent Care was absolutely wonderful. I took my cat Smudge in twice to get him checked out because he wasn't feeling good. We were helped very quick and the whole staff was extremely kind. Despite this being an urgent care place, the X-Ray Smudge needed was VERY reasonable cost wise (it was $80 cheaper than the quote I received from CityWay Vet).They were super gentle and patient with him. I also called a couple of times with some questions, and they were very helpful on the phone as well. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely return if Smudge has any issues again (He's all better now!!). Thank you so much Cass, Dr. K, Dr. Murphy, and the whole IAUC staff!

Y'all, this place is AMAZING. Super kind staff, clean facility, efficient and skilled, fast service too!. I truly cannot say enough good things! I love that they keep you updated of wait time on their website so you don't even have to call! We all have emergencies and urgencies, and I am so beyond grateful for this rockstar place, and that they were there when I needed them most! ♡ Thank you for taking such good care of my Petey boy!!!!! ♡♡♡

I visited for the first time with my French Bulldog with a history of IVDD. The staff was great and took the time to answer all of my questions. My time with the Doctor was quick and efficient, and the prescription fill only took a few minutes as well. Facilities were clean and parking was easy. Most importantly, my dog is on the way to feeling better. While I hope I never have to go again, the experience was great.

I 100% recommend! Mr. Murphy was very detailed and transparent about everything with us when explaining our puppy’s treatment options along with pricing as well. Such a down to earth local place that made me feel like our concerns were heard and understood. They were quick to see us! Hopefully I don’t have to find myself back here, but if I do have a pet emergency, I will be going here.

I can’t say enough nice things about this place. Not only is the facility extremely nice, but the staff is excellent. Very knowledgeable, and kind. They are transparent with their pricing, and well inline with the cost of other local emergency vet services. This is a wonderful addition to downtown Indianapolis, and I’d highly recommend them for your pets emergency care.

This is the place you hope to never have to visit, but if your pet does have an emergency, COME HERE! The experience was as fantastic as an emergency can be. The staff is so kind, Dr. K is fabulous, they explain literally everything. I cannot recommend this place more! Even if you don’t live close, it is 100% worth the drive! Thank you care team!!

I had to take my boy in due to some concerning symptoms. The veterinarian was very knowledgeable and attentive, addressed all of my concerns. I am very thankful I came in and highly recommend for any urgent matters with your furry friends. Very clean and hospitable environment and the staff is genuine and caring. Very grateful I found this option to fill the gap between getting a vet appointment and going to an emergency vet. I knew my cat didn’t have an emergency situation but I did want her to be checked out as soon as possible. The clinic has a great environment and friendly staff who explained with helpful detail and answered my questions.

This place is excellent! I needed to bring my pup in for a UTI on a Saturday afternoon. They were able to see her quickly, diagnose and provide meds. Very impressive and attentive- highly recommend if you need urgent care - it’s basically a doggie med check! …

All 3 of the Veterinarian’s are the most amazing, dedicated, and caring doctors that I’ve ever taken my dog to! They pay attention to detail and truly treat your pet as if it were their own. They are very honest and overall the best team of Veterinarians around!!

Cannot say enough about this wonderful group . They truly care about providing healthcare for animals at a reasonable price ( keeping in mind that it is “ urgent“ care . 3 Purdue grad vets and experienced vet techs , they saved the day for our family !
