Simply go to the many other clinics available around Berlin. There is no real issue with this clinic apart from some administrative issues between doctors, laboratory and the patients, unfortunately one of the doctors there passed on the incorrect number for my blood sample causing huge problems in the laboratory... The staff in the laboratory have big attitude problems, the slightly older one didn’t like it when I mentioned that issues like this should not happen when dealing with highly personal data like blood samples, just like I wouldn’t not have liked getting an incorrect diagnosis on my blood sample… Please have a re-think about those staff members in the laboratory and if you actually want them working for your clinic and reputation! It’s simply unacceptable to tell a client that there’s no problem when there quite clearly was… it’s a bad practise. Please go elsewhere to avoid mishaps like this happening again in the future… You must have an appointment to be seen here. Waiting time is typically one full hour. The clinic is very busy, so even with an appointment booked in advance expect a long wait. I was seen by Dr. Cordes, professional, sterile.

(Note: after a conversation with one of the doctors I am editing my previous review, as I cannot delete it, it seems) I have been going to this doctor for a few years now. Overall the doctors are friendly and helpful but will only diagnose you for a very short time. This is not great but understandable since they have a lot of patients. Like other reviews have mentioned, a bit strange that you need to make an appointment for emergency hours (this was even before Corona). But it's usually pretty easy to get an appointment quickly so it's not a big problem. Edited part of the review: As much as I like the doctors at this office, some of the receptionists can be pretty rude at times - especially in email or phone conversations. They seem a lot nicer in person. I had a not very nice incident with one of the receptionist which led me to the original review, but during my last visit one of the doctors apologized and explained the situation to me and now I feel a lot better about everything that happened. And so I am upgrading my review from 2 starts to 4 starts, since in my experience most doctors' offices would not take the time to apologize.

I went to this praxis a while ago and experienced something I never thought could happen. I had an appointment and was waiting in the waiting room for a while (about 40min). Eventually when I got up to literally just have a look at the reception to see if maybe someone of the staff would notice me say something, and before I even could approach anyone, there was a male young doctor that looked at me in the most aggressive way and said "Wenn sie mich noch einmal etwas fragen, dann explodiere ich" (If you'll ask me one more thing, I'll explode) As in, I'll punch you in the face?..if you ask me one more thing? By the way , I hadn't even spoken to this "doctor" before. I wasn't feeling good anyway at.that point and I just broke down in tears. It made me so anxious that I couldn't stop crying. How can you talk to someone like that, specially as a professional? Shame on you. It's one year later and here I am writing this review again because it somehow disappeared. Honestly, these small things, and the way you treat others can really leave small traumas on people. Watch yourself. Horrible Horrible Horrible. Don't go here.

Edit 2: Die Kommentare der Praxis sind komplett fiktiv, ich kam nie ohne Versichertenkarte in die Praxis. Und selbst wenn, hätte ich nicht verweigert, die Krankenkasse anrufen zu lassen. Wirklich lächerlich. Es ging mir um einen Fall, wo mir der falsche Termin gegeben wurde, aber ein anderer Termin im System eingetragen wurde, dafür kann ich als Patient ja nichts. Edit: Meine Zufriedenheit (ehemals 5 Sterne) hat seit einigen Monaten leider stark abgenommen. Komplexe Krankheitsbilder werden vom Studenten betreut - an sich ok, wenn nicht wiederholt Fehler gemacht würden. Ein paar MFAs sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit, andere leider komplett das Gegenteil (akute Anliegen ignoriert, falsche Terminvergaben), sodass man Glück haben oder genau wissen muss, an wen man sich wendet. Egal ob mit Termin oder Akut (mit extra Anmeldung), die Wartezeiten sind extrem lang geworden. Es gibt einige gravierende Kommunikationsprobleme, die mich nun veranlassen, die Praxis zu wechseln

Heute ist der Tag der Rezessionen. Ein guter Anlass, eine besonders menschenfreundliche Arztpraxis lobend zu bewerten, die von Dr. Cordes in Friedrichshain. Hier überzeugt das ganze Team! Schon an der Rezeption fühle ich mich in guten, in vertrauenswürdigen Händen. Der emphatische Empfang reflektiert die vorwiegend humane Handlung/Haltung der Praxis, überzeugt schnell für die Kompetenzen der Ärzte. Er überzeugte mich bereits bei meinem ersten Besuch. Hier wurde ich, hier werde ich als Patient human in den Mittelpunkt gestellt, persönlich respektiert, gründlich ärztlich untersucht, verständlich beraten, kompetent geholfen. Wie in einem Bilderbuch! Empathie ist so selten geworden in dieser Branche! Danke Frau Dr. Cordes! Merci Dr. Sebastian Mersmann! Sie verdienen seit der ersten Minute mein volles Vertrauen, eigennützig selbstverständlich auch meine Treue… trotz des 40-minütigen Fahrtwegs! Manche Pilgerwege sind länger.

Ich kann die Praxis voll empfehlen! Als Hausarzt-Praxis und für akute Beschwerden meine erste Anlaufstelle. Alle Ärzte sind sehr freundlich und kompetent. Sowohl Dr. Christiane Cordes habe ich bereits mit einer starken Grippe (lange vor Corona) als super hilfreiche Ärztin erlebt (habe mit fast 40° Fieber direkt in der Praxis Infusion zur Stabilisierung bekommen) und auch Herr Mersmann hat mich umfassend, kompetent und freundlich beraten. Noch einen Zusatzstern würde ich für die Impfungen vergeben. Die Geduld und der professionelle Ablauf für den gesamten Impf-Prozess ist wirklich nicht zu toppen! Von der Anmeldung, Informationen bis zur Impfung selbst läuft es sehr angenehm und zuverlässig. In Berlin für mich die Empfehlung, wenn man einen vertrauensvollen Hausarzt sucht! DANKE an das ganze Team - gerade in diesen Zeiten!

I was about to pass out at the reception due to mental stress, but everyone here was super friendly and discreet, what helped me to cool down. I felt no rush with the doctor, he took his time and explained everything well. I actually was glad to wait about 30 to 45 minutes, to resilience from the mental stress. Ppl complaining here in the reviews about 30 minutes waiting time, obviously never been to a doctor in a world city like Berlin. Just recently I sat 4 hours at an orthopedic doctor with intense pain although I was being unable to sit. Ah, ja they first rejected me by phone, but when I friendly and calm explained that she may misunderstood the situation, she was super attentive, heard me and concluded that an appointment shortly will be necessary.

I have been coming to this Praxis since I have been in Berlin (2013) and I have to say that this is the only praxis of doctors in Berlin that have treated me with kindness and as an actual human being. They have shown concern for me and I have never waited too long for them to take me in. They have helped me every single time and they are multilingual which is super important in this city. The doctors are so nice and they definitely are set apart from the rest of doctors in Berlin, who have been a complete horror for me. Berlin needs more doctors like the ones in Dr. Cordes’ praxis. I honestly have to say that this is an example of a Praxis with staff who truly care for their patients . Even when they were about to close and I was urgently needing a last minute appointment before the weekend , they helped me and also asked the doctor to call me . They are very busy these days with the corona situation but they never treat you badly or rush you , they are kind and understanding and I honestly will always come to them. They are also very thorough with their tests , they make sure they rule out all other possible issues even if you only went where for one thing . Freundliche Ärzte sowie Mitarbeiterinnen. Davon kann man sich bei 2 1/2 Stunden Wartezeit aber auch nichts kaufen. 2,5 Stunden musste ich warten bis ich dann mal selbst nachgefragt habe. Die Dame am Empfang antwortete dann sehr freundlich, dass es noch einige Zeit dauern kann und diese langen Wartezeiten nicht unüblich sind. Ich dachte ich höre nicht richtig und bin dann gegangen (nach 2,5 Stunden warten OHNE Behandlung!!!!!!). Sollte man also wirklich krank sein und akut Hilfe benötigen, ist man in dieser Praxis definitiv an der falschen Adresse! Schade...war mal anders.

Dr. Sebastian is a very good doctor, but the receptionists have always been very rude with me, and even more by phone. I am always nice and polite with them. For people like me that has mental health issues it is very unpleasant. You should treat people better or change the people in reception for nicer people. I always have a hard time of anxiety when I have to call you. This shouldn't be happening with the ones that are supposed to help you, Also the waiting times in the waiting room are for hours some days. Why should I keep going here? Years ago they were nicer.

Ich bin seit Jahren in der Praxis Patientin. Die Freundlichkeit von Dr. Cordes ist mit ein Grund hierfür. Was mich in den letzten Monaten sehr beeindruckt hat, ist die Professionalität mit der in der Praxis auf die Pandemie reagiert wurde. Von Anfang an, gab es eine separate Corona-Sprechstunde, auf der Praxis Homepage waren immer die aktuellsten Infos zu finden und auch die Vereinbarung eines Impftermins über ein Online-Buchungssystem war wirklich unkompliziert. Respekt für das tolle Praxis-Management. So fühle ich mich auch in Krisen gut begleitet.

I’ve been going to this practice for three years after being referred by a coworker. The doctors are very professional and take the time needed to understand and effectively treat their patients. You get a strong sense that they genuinely care about their clients and their community. They also have strong support for Spanish and English. The staff has been helpful and seems to run an efficient operation. Appointments can be a challenge (as with all Berlin doctors) but generally not too bad and there’s always Sprechstunden.

They are NOT taking any new patients, as per the receptionist on the phone... although this was not stated on their website. EDIT (in response to the lovely and sassy response that I got back): NO, the receptionist CLEARLY stated that even in cases of emergency, this practice would STILL NOT accept new patients. So yes, I do find that to be somewhat unideal for a practice that advertises otherwise. I mean, if you’re not taking any new patients at all (normal or emergency) simply state that on your website.

Obwohl viele Wartende da waren, kam ich relativ schnell dran. Es scheint irgendwie alles sinnvoll organisiert zu sein da und die Stimmung ist angenehm, die Arbeitenden beim Empfang und beim Blutabnehmen superfreundlich, kompetent und sympathisch. Die Ärztin nahm sich Zeit und hat aufmerksam zugehört, sie war unmoralisch und offen als wir über heikle Themen sprachen, was ich sehr schätze. Die Untersuchung war gründlich, kein schnelles Abarbeiten wie an anderen Orten. Eine echt gute Praxis!

Doctors are great...i would have gave 5 starts, but the receptionist lady is the WORST EVER and ruins everything! She thinks she is the doctor, when i called to request an appointment she wanted to know all the details about my illness. I answered saying those are privet infos which i'm supposed to discuss only with the doctor and she became incredibly rude and she hung up on me. This is only one of the many episodes i lived in first person, or that i saw happening to others.

My experience was very positive. I was able to book an urgent appointment 1 day before coming here. I was running late because of Sbahn disruption, gave reception a call and they had no problem for me coming later. There were many people (full waiting room) but I got in just 1h 20min later. For an urgent open appointment this is actually a great waiting time. The doctor was caring, kind and attentive and clearly professional, took their time with me. Thank you!

I have used this practice as my Hausarzt for ~3 years, since the beginning of Covidzeit. The ~4 doctors I’ve seen have been friendly and attentive (they listened) to me. The receptionists have seemed professional and knew their job (and were friendly, German-style). The good and bad: - Pros: Attentive doctors, efficient staff, testing lab (blood, etc.) on site, English usually OK - Cons: You need an appointment for Sprechstunde (I usually must wait 1 day)

I have been in this practice since 2017. Unfortunately,from 01.01.2023 they changed the owners and is very very notciable. I arrived yesterday to get a sick note and instead of looking for solutions, the recepcionist, very arrogant (ginger with a septum) treat me like I have been never treated before. I will start to look for another practice since this one is not anymore Dr. Cordes Praxis that used to be,so open and welcoming with expats and BiPoC

Very racist practice. If you are a person of color or if you are BLACK you are not welcome here. Went there to register as a new patient and they said they are no longer accepting new patients. But the man who came after me was able to register. Quite ironic because they were recommended to me by a person of color, so I guess they have reached their people of color quota which to me goes against every medical ethic in any part of the world. Shame.

Besuche die Praxis schon von Anfang und bin inzwischen etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Fühle mich trotzdem genügend beachtet, gesehen und gut behandelt. Praxis und das Team versuchen jung und innovativ zu bleiben und sich stetig dem enormen Zulauf an Patienten anzupassen. Ich schätze sehr, dass ich, trotz vollem Wartezimmer, unkonventionell und offen über nicht ganz alltägliche Dinge sprechen kann. Keiner von den ganz "gewöhnlichen" Hausärzten.

The receptionist was very rude. In their website they say that they have an akut-sprech hours (emergency), when I asked her whether I can benefit from these hours she told me that I can not without giving me any reason. Then, I asked her what would happen if every praxis declines me like that, and she said that she doesn't care. While I was talking and asking other questions, she said good-bye and hang-up. That's sad.

Endlich eine Arztpraxis in der ich mich wohl und Ernst genommen fühle. Alle Ärzte und das gesamte Team sind sehr höflich, zuvorkommend und immer um eine schnelle und nachhaltige Lösung bemüht. Selbst wenn es mal ein paar Minuten länger dauert, weiß ich doch das es nur daran liegt das sich die Ärzte für jeden Patienten die Zeit nehmen die nötig ist. Und das kommt ja schließlich dann auch mir zu Gute. Weiter so.

I had been very satisfied with the doctors here, but the team recently chose to withhold a repeat prescription for life-saving medication, leaving me without therapy, quoting rules that have never been communicated in the 3.5 years I have been taking medication prescribed by the clinic. The written communication that followed was, I feel, void of empathy. I believe that this is inexcusable and unforgivable.

Ich besuche diese Arztpraxis seit Jahren. Empfang hat immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht oder fang an zu grinsen wenn man mit ihnen spricht. Mit der Wartezeit hat sich einiges getan denn seit Corona wartet man nicht mehr so lange. man wird ernst genommen, es werden einen Tipps gegeben was man noch so für Wege einschlagen könnte, um gesund zu werden. Sehr freundliches Personal, äußerst effizient und gut organisierte Praxis. Ich wurde freundlich und gut beraten, behandelt und dann ans praxiseigene Labor zur Weiterbehandlung übergeben. Folgetermin war fix vereinbart und das, obwohl ich nur zur Akutsprechstunde gegangen bin. Sehr empfehlenswert. Sehr viel nettes Personal und gute Beratung ist in Berlin nicht selbstverständlich zu finden!

Was a patient 7 years in this praxis and was very satisfied. Doctors in the praxis always had quick and accurate diagnosis, and are pretty easy to discuss any medical related topic that you may want to discuss. Bonus to have a lab in the praxis and be able to do travel vaccinations. Chery on the cake when you see Frau dr Cordes who is quite a character. Thank you for taking care of me!

Komplett unseriöser Arzt. Also wer in 2023 immer noch Maskenpflichten verordnet und dann völlig dreist 50 cent für eine Maske verlangt, denen ist nicht mehr zu helfen. Bei solchen Ärzten weiß man dann ja was das für welche sind! Vor Allem als Infketiologe sollte man nicht dermaßen verblendet sein… P.S. Die Praxis riecht größtenteils nach positiven HIV-Infektionen und Syphilis…

Ich besuche diese Praxis seit 2017 und bin wirklich sehr Froh darüber! Ich werde sehr ernst genommen und kompetent untersucht und beraten, was mir in anderen Praxen leider nicht so passiert ist. Das Team war immer freundlich zu mir und hat mir geholfen wo es nur ging! Immer wenn ich ernst zu nehmender Beschwerden habe, komme ich hier her. Ich bin wirklich sehr dankbar dafür!

I would like to update my review to complement Doctor Ricardoni, who has a positively human approach and was very thorough in the short visit we had. Great to meet you! You will not find a more competent, helpful and friendly staff. As an ex pat, with over 15 years in the EU, I’ve never been so impressed, again and again. My heart goes out to reception and the doctors here.

Schnelle Termine, meist kurze Wartezeit, nette Ärzte! Manchmal etwas zu fix bei der Beratung/Diagnose für mein Gefühl, aber das macht eben der Zeitdruck. Dennoch top, bisher immer super beraten. Labor direkt nebenan wodurch die Ergebnisse auch immer schnell kommen. Denkt daran: auch wenn’s akut ist, immer nur mit Termin - lief bisher jedoch bei mir immer einwandfrei! :)

Super Ärztin und tolles Praxispersonal! Insbesondere ist Frau Dr. Elena Rodriguez. Sie ist sehr Fachkompetent, engagiert und freundlich. Ich bin sehr froh, in die Behandlung von Dr. Rodriguez aufgenommen worden zu sein! Ich fülle mich immer gut aufgehoben und gut beraten. Ein solches Engagement habe ich vorher noch bei keinem Arzt (egal welcher Fachrichtung) erlebt.

Kurze Wartezeiten??? Kann nur als Witz gemeint sein .besser Buch und Sitzkissen mitbringen!! Eine Stunde ist Minimum jedesmal trotz Termin. Trotz eines sehr empathischen und engagierten jungen Arztes ( frau r. Ist da nicht so toll ) ...und eines freundlichen Teams wohl nicht mehr die Praxis meiner Wahl .nach anderthalb Stunden ohne Behandlung gegangen..

Das einzige was an dieser Praxis gut ist, ist das Personal. Die Ärztin hat sich noch nicht mal richtig anhören wollen weshalb ich da bin. Ich hatte das Gefühl sie macht sich lustig über mich. 2-3 Bemerkungen waren echt daneben "oh dann müssen sie ja jetzt sofort ins Krankenhaus". Nochmal tue ich mir diese überhebliche Frau nicht an.

Seit ca. 4 Jahren in regelmäsiger Behandlung: freundlich, kompetente und gut durchorganisierte Praxis, die ich nur weiterempfehlen kann. Bei der Akkutsprechstunde wird lange gewartet, am besten mann ruft vorher an, dann gehts etwas zügiger. Sonst kann ich mit gutem Gewissen 4 von 5 Sternen geben. Weiter so Fr. Cordes und Team!

I am really lucky to have Dr. Cordes since I am in Berlin(8 years). Dr. Cordes had always shown great empathy while treating and listening to my problems. Sind die beste Ärzte&Ärztinnen und die nettesten Schwestern die da alle arbeiten kann es für die neupatienten weiter empfehlen Man wird da wirklich gut ,nett ,höflich Aufgenommen sind hilfsbereit und so gut wie möglich werden eure Fragen und Beschwerden schnellstmöglich aufgeklärt Danke das es euch gibt :)

if you manage to get an appointment, there is a rude woman on the phone and staff also mixed up info on the computer. treatment itself is excellent, fast and they offer vaccinations also. waiting time was not so long and it wasn't as scary as I thought. Also excellent staff in the labor who are very nice

Von dieser Praxis könnten sich so einige Ärzte mal ne Scheibe von abschneiden. 7 Jahre in Berlin und immer nur inkompetente Ärzte besucht, bei Praxis Cordes fühle ich mich sehr gut aufgehoben. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm und die Wartezeiten völlig in Ordnung. Am besten aber, ruft man vorher an.

Klasse Team. Freundlich, höflich, kompetent und professionell. Hier kümmert man sich noch um den Der Patient/ in! Man fühlt sich direkt gut verstanden und super gut aufgehoben . Ein Praxis- Team das noch Menschlichsein und ein positives Miteinander lebt! - Leider, heutzutage eher eine Rarität.

This is by far the most competent consultation I had in a long time. Dr. Cordes took her time although the waiting room was packed with people. Everybody was very supportive and professional. I can highly recommend this practice also for non-German speakers.

Had to post this anonymously for privacy reasons. Honestly, the way they used to handle the patients then and now has differed alot. Especially the receptionists. Really bad. Never coming back.
