The International Court of Justice (ICJ), sometimes known as the World Court,[1] is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations (UN).[2] It settles disputes between states in accordance with international law and gives advisory opinions on international legal issues. ICJ has had a mixed history with some successes at bringing peace between nations and also bringing despots and dictators to justice. But a lot is left to be desired. The ICJ is closed at the moment due to Covid restrictions. But entry to the visitors center, when open, is free.

I was trying to access the International Court of Justice contact email, and sent two short messages, but no response, feedback or assistance.The International Court of Justice should be accessible to citizens requesting help specially in the domain of human rights, but also in other sensitive areas.Similar situation is with other United Nations bodies and services( United Nations Human Rights Commissioner in Geneva who never responds back to received emails nor takes any actions).Those institutions have to be more approachable to citizens of the world.

בין הדין הבילאומי, מבנה ומקום מאוד מרשים, ענק בגודלו ויפייפה בעיצובו ! הסיוריום במקום בתיאום או בקבוצה ולכן לא נכנסו לסיור בפנים. מבחוץ ישנו מיני פארק עם פינות ישיבה נעימות ורבות. בכניסה למבנה ישנו שומר וסביבו פקוק במהלך כל היום. אנחנו החננו את הרכב בשכונה קרובה (באזור בו החניה מותרת- היא גם הייתה בחינם) והלכנו את הדרך ברגל ולגמרי נהננו מהעיר, שונה לחלוטין מאמסטרדם.. רגועה, נעימה ושקטה כיף לטייל בה ושאוף אווירה הולנדית אמיתית נטולה מיליוני תיירים.

The security guards are extremely rude. During the Chagos Islands hearing, they arbitrarily reduced the number of seats from 20 to 10 in the public gallery, having free space in there but refused to allow entrance. Now they even require registration for people using the Peace Palace Library, which has never been imposed before. Purely unreasonable and burdensome.

However important it is, as a tourist attraction, it sucks. Please DO NOT COME HERE unless you need too (if you are a tourist); half the time it is closed and you cant get inside. There is nothing else in the Hague so please do not waste your time trying to get a ticket from Amsterdam or Rotterdam to here; its just a waste of time.

Het Vredespaleis is werkelijk een architectonische parel. Een ieder zou het eens bezocht moeten hebben. Mensen beseffen lossen van de functie die het gebouw heeft vaak niet wat er hierbinnen aan moois te zien is. Allicht een ondergewaardeerde touristische attractie die het bezichtigen juist ontzettend waard is. Heel indrukwekkend.

Super schön der Internationale Gerichtshof von Den Haag. Es war Security am Pforten eingang also einfach reinspazieren ist nicht :-D die Security selbst total freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben noch ein paar schöne Bilder gemacht und sind dann weiter gezogen. Ich hoffe doch das unsere BRD dort bald mal vor Gericht steht ;-)

Way too biased judges! They only punish non western and 3rd world for warcrimes, but when western or 1st world war criminals do this they don’t get punished at all! Also when you’re a tourist it’s also not worth visiting, the staff is incredibly rude and disrespectful. Only good thing is the architecture of the building.

Peace for all world. The amazing and old court that called the world court too. It's located in the Den hague. It has a museum of old and history things and memorial of some people and events. I like peace tree and wish all hopes those hanging it achieve ASAP.

It is simply a must see when you come to the Netherlands. For lawyers to be or active lawyers , this building is a must. Its beautiful gardens and architecture are just the façade of the great history and modern day importance to the Peace Palace. Amazing!

Als wir da waren war es leider geschlossen, aber es lohnt sich einmal durch das große Tor zu schauen. Ein tolles Gebäude. Kann man sich super anschauen auf dem Weg zum Meer. Kurz raus aus der Straßenbahn und dann weiter nach Scheveningen.

Se si visita l'Aia non si può non dare un'occhiata al famoso Tribunale. L'edificio storico in stile neorinascimentale costruito oltre un secolo fa è visibile dall'esterno ma è presente una mostra gratuita.
