But the police... picked up the equipment and used it against me as a victim of the crimes. 4 years and 10 months now.. continuously tortured with : radioactive radiation, chemicals, installations, Sonic attacks, electricity, chemicals in the water, etc etc. So Norway and Denmark with the responsible people for this operation will be brought to answer for it. I'm so glad we have at least ONE place to find Justice. Cause Norway is way too corrupt and criminal all the way.

Extraordinarily friendly staff... I wasn't sure what to expect and thought perhaps they were closed when we arrived at the "Visitors" revolving door and found it locked. While my wife and I were sitting outside pondering what to do next on our visit to The Hague a guard came out and asked if we were trying to get in. He welcomed us and walked us through the procedure (there's an unmarked intercom near the visitors entrance and they'll buzz you in) -- the security process is easy and everyone we encountered was very accommodating. There is an informative film and an exhibit space explaining the role of the court. On the day we visited there were no public hearings so our visit was relatively short but still glad we made it to visit during our trip to The Hague

We kregen bij binnenkomst alleen informatie in het Frans terwijl we de medewerkers duidelijk in het Nederlands aanspraken. De tribune en het bezoekerscentrum waren beide gesloten, maar daar kwamen we pas achter toen we binnen waren, dat is ook waar we eindelijk de huisregels konden lezen. Na het inleveren van m'n bezoekerspas ging de deur niet open, na een kwartier contact proberen te zoeken kwam er eindelijk een beveiliger aan die met een vreemde combi van gebrekkig Engels en Nederlands uitlegde dat ik fout zat maar uiteindelijk toch de draaideur activeerde. Ik snap dat het niet echt een toeristische attractie is maar dit was wel erg chaotisch. Toch een bijzondere ervaring, we proberen het de volgende keer weer!

Pretty impressive. They have nice exhibitions inside quite insightful and they present stories of victims and the work of icc and what it represents. They also have a quiz in which you can act as a prosecutor and make decisions. Was impressed by a series of black framed paintings that represented the victims in an abstract mode - black little sculptures- and they even had an actual bullet shot in the heart of one of those statues. Small details but effective. It is impressive because its structure is made of glass and rock solid materials. Also they have some sort of a bridge over an artificial river i think its very effective in terms of aesthetics for human rights defending institution.

Mmmm, it’s a wonderful institution that’s beyond doubt, but to be honest the best way to experience it must be to come under arrest because the interested visitor experience is less than impressive - a handful of not-very-interactive pods and a random collection of posters and poorly lip-synced screens. Granted that they have a job to do and a budget to manage, it would do well to put together a better display of its purpose than this. ...and as we walked away, we were serenaded by the sound of persistent rifle fire from the adjacent rifle range. Not the most sensitive location planning one might think.

Institution recentre créé suite aux accords de Rome, la visite est intéressante si vous avez la possibilité de venir un jour de séance, munissez vous de votre passeport et présentez vous à l’entrée visiteurs, toutes vos affaire portable inclus devront être placées dans des casiers avant de repasser la sécurité pour accéder aux salles d’audiences. Les casques permettront d’entendre les échanges dans les différentes langues. Dans l’entrée il y a des explications sur le fondement et le fonctionnement de l’institution.

Ich habe das Verfahren eines serbischen Politiker Jahre lang verfolgt . Den man 10 Jahre inhaftiert hatte ,ohne Beweise vor zu bringen . Da man ihn ja nicht einfach freisprechen konnte , musste man ihn politische Hetze vorwerfen. Deswegen saß er 10 Jahre dort. Einfach nur peinlich und unmenschlich was da passiert ist .

Navštivil jsem při dni otevřených dveří. Vstupní prostory byly plné informativní výstavkou o činnosti tribunálu. Byla zpracována velmi pěkně, oceňuji zejména interaktivní prvky. Poměrně silný zážitek byl pobyt na galerii hlavní místnosti, ve které probíhají jednání. Naopak zklamáním byl obchod s upomínkovými předměty. Třeba to bylo dáno tím, že jsem tam byl hodinu před zavřením, ale to bych raději obchod zavřel než nabízel to, co tam měli.

My dad was tried here for 15 counts of War Crimes, Genocide, and Child Enslavement. Overall quick process, only took 1 year for the final hearing and he was sentenced to life very respectfully and professionally. Only giving 4 stars because my seat was uncomfortable and the room smelt like old people.
