This was a gorgeous location for a wedding! The atmosphere was very peaceful and relaxing. It didn’t feel like I was near the busy city of Phoenix. My only complaint was the parking situation. It was difficult to find and I would recommend parking at the park nearby instead.
I am on a journey to find Ira Haden.A very Artistic little Irish man I soon adopted as my art mentor. Owner of past Gallery Celtica on Roosevelt Row. He would be a happy man I am sure. Any one know anything.I helped set up a few times . Once at THE ICC .Help me out .
It was nice but I thought it would be alot more than it was. 1 room wasn't "open" but the door was open, she just didn't take us in there since she said that room was closed. Definitely could not understand her with the mask on and she was well over 6ft away.
Visited it by pure chance on a road trip from LA to Austin in 2020. Owner of a copy of Book of Kelts. Met nice library guide volunteering there, formerly living in Bavaria so we could speak german which he quite enjoyed. :-) Stayed for more
Came to take a tour & would never go back! Tour was not a pleasant experince! Tour guide did not start the tour on time & read from a cheat sheet. The library experience was not good either. We asked questions about the geneology process.
Tha dùthas seo! Sorry that’s scottish gàidhlig for “this is culture” but seriously, if you need to do any research or if you are of Irish descent and have any questions you need to find about an ancestor this is the place to start of be.
I probably do not have enough space to write about how exceptional this place is. First, the location is gorgeous and extremely unique. Second, Mary Moriarty is a fantastic, very caring individual. My fiance and I were planning to do our
It looks very nice from the outside. It looks like a Medieval castle with its stone tall walls and the arching gate. Once there, I was however, unsure of how to get the actual "museum" entrance. Luckily someone pointed me to the visitor
This place is an amazing gem of culture and history. You could spend all day looking at the resources and return every week finding a fun cultural event to bring the whole family. The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. More
This Venue is awesome! It was amazing for our wedding and we truly enjoyed the experience. You will work with Mary, the events coordinator at the center, and she'll be you POC every step of the way, including your event day! Mary cares
Hello. We visited on Saturday at 12:30 . We didn't know how to get in but we went around the building and found the entry way. It is confusing. The best way is to dress nicely but comfortable and walking shoes. Go inside the library
The Irish cultural center, is definitely the place to be, on the 3rd Friday of every month for the kali lessons and dancing. Always have a fantastic time whenever I go,not to mention that the wife loves it
Not what I thought it would be. I thought maybe it would have some Irish castle decor. It was very modern inside. The cottage only took maybe 10 minutes to look at. Really only good if you are
We wnt to the Harry Potter event they hosted it was so fun and immersive. The architecture and everything really felt out of place in downtown Phoenix but it was a really cool environment.
Great place to take both Irish dance on Monday nights at 6:30pm and Scottish Country dance on Thursday nights at 7pm. Get your ghillies on and join in the monthly 3rd Friday ceili too.
Stop by the Irish Cultural Center to get a tour of the replica of an Irish cottage. The architecture of the castle imitates Norman less in Northern Ireland and houses the library.
I didn't expect to really like this place. But the staff and visitors were awesome. I had seen it for a long time when I passed it said open super cool check it out
Spending St. Patrick's Day at the McClelland Library and Irish Cultural Center. Great music, food, crafts and displays. Visit Celtic Nations Art by Sydney McShane.
I've been here on several occasions. Each time I'm there I learn something new. I'm 100% Irish, half Dooley an half Murphy. We have a long proud history in America.
Love this place my wife & I go as often as we can for the events like tartanic, Sant Patrick's day event's, & Christmas events as well. Go raibh maith agat. :)
Had a great time at the wizarding event! Excellent potion making class. Can't believe the beautiful architecture right here in the heart of Phoenix.
We came here for St. Patrick's Day a few weeks ago and lots of rich history to be learned about Ireland! Highly recommend visiting this place.
Very educational, will definitely be back! Due to covid the library was closed. Can't wait to check it out once it opens again.
The library & exhibits were great. We attended a dinner there and the venue was very nice.
A great place to learn more about Ireland. Helpful and informative volunteers and staff.
Tons of fun to visit on a festival day. I went for St Patrick's day and loved it.
Great place to go. The guided tour was great and the staff very knowledgeable.
The Ceili dancing every third Friday is amazing and really worth the effort!
Loved it great place to learn about irish history and family genealogy.
Been here on St. Patrick’s Day - Irish people are so friendly!
