Hands down the best tour we had in Ireland outside of the Kilmainham Gaol tour. This one was the most fun by far as the other was more historical. Donal was fantastic with the type of humor and storytelling we were told was common in Ireland. Witty and on point throughout, great suggestions in the lobby (by pure luck since he was done after our tour and we came back to purchase some whiskey to go) hands down worth the visit. Book in advance to secure a seat as it fills up quickly even on a Thursday night. Not for those easily offended by jokes. If you're looking to attend, don't be a stick in the mud. Cheers!! **my wait time was because we were early and the bar is open on site to help pass the time.

My boyfriend and I had a great time visiting! Before the tour we got a cocktail at the bar; I had the whiskey sour and he got the IPA boiler maker. We really enjoyed both, along with the live music playing while we were there. The tour itself was great! Briain started off with a debrief on the history and was so engaging. Donal then picked it up and was extremely knowledgeable and funny. We did the blending tour so we got to try four whiskeys and then make and bring home our own small bottle. We had an excellent experience. Would definitely recommend! They do a great job.

Fantastic place. The tour was informative and very enjoyable. I actually learned a lot of new things about irish whiskey and history. Our guide Dan was absolutely terrific, full of energy and passion, he made the tour truly unforgettable. Also which museum in a world lets you taste whiskey? Right, it's irish whiskey museum! At the end of our tour there were four unique whiskey to try. It was wonderfull. If only every other museum was like that! The bar at the museum is fantastic and has a large selection of irish whiskey many of which I don't even know. Truly a great place to sit and enjoy a dram. Highly recommending!

Nice experience. In the middle of city centre. A foot step from popular Grafton Street. Opposite to Trinity College. Our guide gave us many information about whiskey history. It was quite entertaining. He made a nice theatrical performance during his attempt to explain what was happening when alcohol consuming was forbidden. I would recommend to book earlier your ticket as you may not find if you go for a last minute booking. Excellent experience whiskey tasting by the end of the tour. Could not have finished in a better way!

Fantastic, really enjoyed our visit! Simple, fun and with a lot of history. For an Irish fellow Matthew (hope I’m spelling it right) had a hint of British humor on him which gave the tour a special shine to the experience! The only thing I’d recommend would be to go a little lower on the heating at the entrance, it was unbearably warm to the point that we had to go out to wait for the tour to start. The rest of the tire was fine it was just that entrance. Overall we think it was a good value for our money

Can't remember what the tour guide told us to Call-Him... Tour is so entertaining and a good laugh. It was a last minute decision to attend due to it being a rainy day in Dublin and I highly recommend it even on a sunny day. It was great to learn about the history of whiskey (and how amazing it is) As I'm hearing impaired, I wanted Colm to wear a mic that's connected to my hearing devices and he was more than happy to do so! Would honestly go back just to do another tour with him.

This place is a little tucked away, but it was so fun. We had Andrew as a tour guide, and he was amazing. The experience is fun and a little kitschy, but it is very well thought out and presented. We had a lot of fun, and even if you aren't drinking, it was well worth the cost of the ticket. Additionally, there is a bar! There are tons of options for Irish whiskey, flights available, etc. They had delicious Irish coffee. Definitely a great place to spend an hour or two.

Great little spot. Went in on a whim and was very pleased we did. The bar upstairs has an excellent selection of whiskey at pretty decent prices. Staff were super friendly, I had the full house flight which was great. The tour was well done and interesting, our guide was excellent and made the tour interesting and fun. I would recommend it to anyone if you are in the area. You can do a non-alcoholic version of the tour, they have a good Irish Coffee too.

We popped in on a whim in after seeing the Book of Kells and wow, this place is already a highlight of our trip. Our guide, Dan, was energetic and hilarious (although also almost uncomfortably loud), and the experience itself was whimsical and informative. Definitely go for the premium tour over the base because the extra whiskey you get in the tasting will be an expensive pour everywhere else.

The narrator/tour-guide was very nice and funny, It takes around 2 hours to know the whole story of the Irish whiskey, don’t expect to see many things as it is more about the story telling, You get to test whiskey by the end of the tour and that depends on the price of ticket you buy! If you don’t drink buy the cheapest one because the price depends on how many drinks you get!

Not really sure what we expected, but from the start to the finish the tour and tasting was stellar. A lot of that had to do with Matt our tour guide and tasting host. Personable, affable and bloody hilarious, he walked us through the history of whiskey making with humour and hilarity. The whiskey was also really good. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

Our visit to the Irish Whiskey Museum was a delightful experience, greatly enhanced by our guide, Helene (or is it Helen? ), whose charm and humor were exceptional. Opting for the premium experience, we savored four tastings, while our child enjoyed a Coca Cola. It's an essential visit, for we gained considerable knowledge throughout the tour.

A great tourist trap that prepared us for our first week in Ireland. A very good guide who was interesting and a good storyteller. I don’t like whisky but I liked the story. Probably not for the expert whisky drinker, but a great crash course to Irish whisky and the story behind. This was a spontaneous find and we were not disappointed.

A fun and interesting introduction to the world of whiskey. It is a small museum with friendly guides who bring the story very nicely. I learned a lot about the history and making of whiskey and even though I hardly ever drink whiskey I really liked the whiskeys I drank during the tasting at the end of the tour.

Before this tour I knew very little about whiskey production and history and I learnt so much in a fun way! Time flew and our tour guide was funny and interesting. Highly recommend if you want to learn some facts and taste 3 or 3 whiskeys! If you book the premium tour a little whiskey glass will be gifted.

This is a great place to experience and know more about Irish Whiskey and its history. However, the guide was trying to be funny, but ended up being very annoying. I went for the "Blending experience" which was a rip off as we only transfered drops of whiskey from one glass to another. I expected more for €35.

Why is this a Museum? I dont know. The guide was a nice person and tried to make it funny. But it has nothing to do with a museum. Its a place where somebody will tell you a short history of irish wiskey and the process of the production. With the classic tour you can taste 3 wiskeys which are very similar.

Fantastic museum. Can't go wrong with Whiskey. Afterwards, we tried 2 of the best Irish Whiskeys, according to the bar keep, from these parts. We tried the Middleton 21 YO and Redbreast 27 YO. Great tastings. These 2 are single pot tripe distilled. Great tastes and even better with a drop of H2O.

Really cool experience, they're not tied to any specific whisky brand which means you get to learn about a lot more brands. We upgraded to be able to taste 5 different ones that aren't necessarily known or sold in stores which made it even better! Our tour guide Colm was amazing!!

We were having a really great time here. Thanks to Andrew, we could learn about the history of whiskey in a funny and easy way. I can highly recommend the premium tour, the difference in price is small but you can taste one more whiskey and you will get a small glass as a gift.

What a fun and informative tour with tastings! They offer other beverages if preferred. Stair climbing in the 4 story building is involved, and there's an elevator. History, humor, theatrics are all a part. Our tour guide, Brien, was super! The whiskey was fine as well.

Tour was awesome. As many tours as I have done with distilleries, including Jameson and Tullamore Dew, I still got new information I'd never heard before. Our guide, Ellen, was great, she was lively and kept things interesting. The whiskey tasting was perfect. I would recommend even if you've done other tours before. I'd do it again. More

Tour guide was great and seemed very knowledgeable about the history of whiskey. Be ready to listen to a proper talk about the history of whiskey. Your got more interesting once the actual whiskey tasting got underway

Very fun experience! I was worried of getting into a tourist trap, but it was indeed quite fun and with fun interesting stories. They also make it very dynamic so you will definitely enjoy if you are into whiskey and learning the particular perspective from Ireland. More

Honestly one of the best things we did while in Dublin. Our guide, Dolan, was one of the most hilarious humans and did a great job explaining whiskey history! Gift shop was also cute and every employee we passed were so sweet. Highly recommend!

Very much worth it for whiskey lovers and novices that want to learn more about the history of whiskey in Ireland, spirits in general, how whiskey is made and what elements influence flavor in what way etc.
