Please be advised if you bring your vehicle in for service at Island Chevy your vehicle will be treated as an amusement ride. They took my 2020 van with only 14,000 miles on it and a full tank of gas ,which I will tell you that they used a half a tank of gas which is equal to $70 in that vehicle and drove it into the wall of the dealership. I have cameras in the vehicle pictures and videos will follow they allow their driver to go over speed bumps at 38 miles an hour damaging all of the items inside of the van for my work and detailing company. The water tank was severely damaged broken They’ve caused the company two weeks of the van not being able to Service our customers and when the van was done fixing the transmission, they allowed the van to get damaged someone took a can opener to the side door of the van and then when we went to pick up the van we were told that that was there when we brought it in, which is all nonsense They are not smart enough to know that there are cameras in the vehicle recording everything that’s taking place now they were speeding around Staten Island with my van tripping multiple multiple speeding cameras. They broke a $1000 water tank in the back of the truck they stole items out of the truck tools, accessories change , be very very careful bringing your car in for service. They are the most despicable lowlifes that I’ve ever dealt with in my entire life at a dealership and then I was called by the manager Jim and Joe he told me they were going to take care of everything just standby I’ve been standing by I’m not standby any longer. The public needs to know what exactly happens to your vehicle at this Chevy dealer. Chevrolet does with your vehicle when you bring it in for service it’s a clown show Videos to follow. I will be posting them on every website that I can get a hold of standby Public you will see what really happens to your cars vans trucks SUVs when you bring them at Island Chevrolet and then to lie to me and tell me don’t put anything on the websites we’re take care of you and this was a direct quote from the manager. Jim and I also have the text messages from the manager will be posting those online also. and then just leave me and suspended animation. No return phone calls passing the buck back-and-forth Completely completely dissatisfied. No one should ever bring their vehicle to that dealership for service. No one should buy anything from that dealership. That dealership is the lowest form of people I’ve ever met lying to your face, telling you lies telling you lies right to your face. I tried posting the videos on this website it will not allow a video only a picture, so I will find other websites to post it on. I will keep you all informed public beware. The worst dealer ever, they are a robber, The sales not professional at all..the service is also worst, Bought a brand new c8 corvette there, but when i got there, 1.they make me wait for an hour to see the car, 2. They sales didnt let me see the car from the inside so i can just see it from the window, and i also cant have a test drive, ( just because i dont dress well, doesnt mean that i dont have money to buy that car ) 3. I was there for more than 6 hours to buy the car, but nothing to over me, not even a bottle of water, 4. The sales person doesn’t know anything about the car, he just tell me to learn about the car n see all of the features by the time that i own it,, 5.2 days after i brought the car home, i realize that the car had been repaint cause i can see different colors and dent on the hood, been called the dealer about that issue n Tony the sales manager asked me to bring back that car and he will address it, but when i got there, he just look at it and ask me to come back again, ( i drove 2 hours from my house to the dealer, and didnt get proper responsibility from the dealer at all ) 6. The service team doesnt know what they doing, when i did the 7500 miles service, they supposed to check n change the transmission filter but they didnt, and when i asked, they said do it next service which is 15.000 miles, but gm recommend 7500… and i also know that the first transmission filter will be covered by gm within the first year, but they said that it didnt coverage, and i also ask with another chevrolet dealer and they said it’s covered and they have to change it automatically… So thats a really really bad dealer in every department that they has,,, Oh btw, they give away free vacuum if u give 5 stars, and thats why they have a lot of 5 stars, but truthfully they dont deserve any stars… And the vacuum of that they give is also broken vacuum, it doesnt work.. very very bad… I suggest u take your business somewhere else, they will treat u a lot better than this dealer..

The sale man was great Bill night i will recommend island Chevrolet to all my friends and family I had a service appointment today with Island Chevrolet. It was not good. I will give it zero stars. I told him I left indicator light mound functioning since February 2 weeks after I had the car they told me because a car got hit it got crush but the car never been hit, They assume it was hit so that mean it came like that and they did not want to change it. They wanted to charge me. either It came like that or somebody broke it when they were checking it but the car was never hit. It had to be hit in the front for that to get damage , it was a maker fault and I will not recommend this service because I was told when I got the car I will be paying for scratches and dents to be fixed. Just bring the car in now. They’re telling me that I have to take it in and they have to take it to the shop to get it fixed which wasn’t told to me in the beginning so I am paying extra For nothing I can just do that myself And then the guy who did the service the technician is cursing when I’m leaving saying I’m lying that the light work before I I’m so upset when I left there it was a bad experience

Wow! I can’t say enough about the excellent timely service I received at Island Chevrolet. My staff and I were traveling from NJ to Brooklyn to work an event for the New York Cancer Center. The low tire pressure light had been on for a while and I checked the air recently and it was good, the light just didn’t reset. However, this particular morning the car was shaky and just not driving right and something told me to stop and have it looked at. I am so happy I trusted my instincts. The place was packed and I wasn’t sure if they could take me. The Service Manager Joe was so polite, helpful and understanding of my situation. Jose was the man in the job and he found the problem…a huge nail in my front tire. The tire was plugged and lights reset and we were on our way swiftly and safely! I can’t thank the staff at enough at Island Chevrolet for helping us out in our time of need so we could be on time to help others in their time of need. Such a breath of fresh air to be greeted and treated with kindness & concern for a customers well-being is a rare find. I will certainly recommend Island Chevy to my friends and family. Thank you again!

I had dropped off the car 2017 suburban on feb 7th for a transmission service. premature failure of the 6l80 transmission at 118k. dealer said they would put a brand new transmission in for 6000$. car was done in 3 days ready to pick up on the 3/10. We paid and when picking up the car we noticed a big scrape in the bumper and asked what had happened, they said the car had arrived like that and there was nothing they could do. i then showed them pictures i had taken off the tow truck to show them there was no damage beforehand. i asked for the damaged to be repaired and they then agreed. the car was not ready for pick up till 3/10 1 month with no loaners available. i work in collision and i know how long it should take. the car also came back with awful hologram swirls from improper buffing on quarters, if i had not taken photos i would have been out of luck for shotty bodywork

I went to Island Chevy in hopes to get into a new vehicle and was fortunate to deal with sales associate Ryan Siller. Ryan was straight up, very honest and extremely helpful in getting me into my new car. I have done this process of buying a new vehicle in the past and I have to say Ryan made this process go smoothly with no headaches. He was a very knowledgeable salesperson who listen to me needs and situation and got me into me ideal car with a reasonable price. I highly recommend Ryan to anyone interested in purchasing or leasing a new car. The service here was exceptional and everyone I had to deal with was courteous, professional,extremely helpful, and pleasant to deal with. I will definitely be back here when it’s time to turn in my other vehicle.

I live in Virginia and bought a Chevy Tahoe in Staten Island, Island Chevrolet. We talked everything on the phone before going there and to pick it up. When I got there I checked the car and I saw there are a lot of dog hairs on the floor and salvia on the seats all over. Then I checked the milage, it has 418 miles on it. I was told it was transferred from another dealership. I understand that but dog hairs and salvia on the seat are not acceptable. Already they accepted that and got the car cleaned. It made me think it was used for a while. I went to there from Virginia thats why I had to buy it. It was just an annoying experience for me. But the lady, her name is Antoinette I think, was great and very helpful to me. I thank her very much.

From the moment I walked in the when I left, they were EXCELLENT! This being my first time in for work on my Chevy, I was sure where to go, one of their employees immediately came over and asked me if I needed help. Inve I was directed to the right person, check in was so quick, I was speachless. They tod me that they would need my truck till 4 pm, I expressed concern as I needed it back by 2 pm to go to work. They immediately started working on my truck, at 11:30 I received a call saying my truck was done. This is what service should be like, putting the customers needs first. They could have said " we'll do the best we can " but the service tec Joe told me it would be done by 1 pm. Way to go Joe ! Thank you

I contacted/visited numerous Chevrolet Dealers searching for a new Corvette. They all seemed to have a take it or leave it attitude except for Island Chevrolet. Initially contacting them by phone from Long Island, I received a very friendly and trustworthy feeling. We exchanged photos and information about my trade in and they in turn sent photos of the Corvette. I'm glad that I followed my instinct and accepted the offer. When I went to pickup my new car "everyone" in the dealership were friendly. In particular our salesperson-Ryan- gets 5 Stars for knowing the car as well as his overall attitude. Could no have asked for a better experience!

Original Review has been deleted since my recent experience was a positive one. Edit: I was contacted about my review and took my car back to be looked at. The Director was friendly and explained everything to me. A week later I took it back to be fixed and I will say that I am glad I did. The issue was fixed and we went over my previous bill and what was completed was definitely needed. This experience changed my stance and I will be taking my car back to Island Chevrolet for all needed services.

Took my car in to be serviced. Oil changed, filters, tire rotation & alignment. I left get on the highway get to 50mph car starts shaking & steering wheel & when you let go of the steering wheel car goes to the right. Now I'm wondering did the oil really get changed? & new filters get put in? After paying for it all like I did for the wheel alignment & it looks like it was not done. When I brought my car in I didn't have that issue at all.

Made an appointment to come and test drive a Bolt EUV. Confirmed en route to the appointment. 45 minute commute. Arrived only to find out there were no EUVs or EVs to drive or in stock at all, and the last one in stock sold prior to me confirming and leaving for the appointment. No reimbursement for the time or cost of my commute. Horrible customer service by Chevy’s business development team. Won’t be shopping Chevy.
