Incredible 5 day trip to Italy! Grazie Marco & staff at Italy Travel Specialist tour guides! First Class! Most Personable experience we were treated like family. Referred by a friend, went to Europe to see our daughter in Barcelona and decided to go to Italy so called Marco with 1 day notice he put together the best Taste of Italy tour of where we requested to go. We had exceptionally service, educated tour guides, reliable comfortable new Mercedes vehicle and safe reliable drivers who treat strangers like family! We toured the highlights of The ‘Eternal City’ Ancient Rome, Vatican City, St. Peter’s, Sistine Chapel, The Colosseum, the Pentagon & more sights along the way stopping to make wish at the Trevi Fountain. We experienced great places to dine and more!! Picked up promptly and professionally on day 2 headed down to Naples, Amalfi Coast, lunch & shopping in breathtaking Positano, sites in-between & private tour of the fascinating ruins of Pompeii then back to Rome to relax . Headed to Florence day 3 where Marco greeted us personally at the train station and gave us a grand driving tour of his favorite highlights in Florence. Cathedrals, The Great Synagogue, beautiful homes and sightseeing of all the important places overlooking the city of Florence! Then went on private tour of the Galleria Dell’Accademia Di Firenze and fabulous walking tour of the city with a private tour guide. Day 3 Headed to Tuscany, though the beautiful curved picturesque countryside stopping at highlights along the way to Siena where a private guide greeted us for a wonderful walking tour of Siena. Then we we’re off to Chianti for a wine tasting tour and home cooked Tuscan lunch (more like dinner!) Greeted by owners Marco & Adriana Mazzarrini at their family winery Poggio Amorelli’ farm. Tasted the best Chianti Docg productions! Then had Gelato in San Gimignano! Then to our luxury hotel to rest up! Day 4 shopping relaxing back in Florence! My wife and I had never used a travel service. We have been to France, England, and all over the US. When I told a friend I was taking my family to Italy for the first time she begged me to call Italy Travel Specialist and let them handle it. At the time, my friend had already used them (Marco) for 4 other trips to the region. Since I was traveling with my wife 3 daughters and my mother in law, I figured I would give it a shot. I sent them where we wanted to go, how long in each city, what we wanted to see and the star rating we wanted in our hotels. We had “White glove service” from beginning to end! Wow! We didn’t have to lift a finger or worry about ANYTHING! An air conditioned luxury Mercedes van took us everywhere. Our personal driver “Blendi” became a part of the family after those 9 days. Each day Blendi would pick us up from our hotel and take us to meet our personal guide that would take us to the days attraction. After, the guide would call Blendi, and he would come pick us up and then take us on our next adventure. Each restaurant they picked out for us was fantastic! Wonderful local spots with great atmosphere. My favorite day was when Blendi took us to a private wine and food pairing in Tuscany at the CasaNova Winery. It was one of the best meals I have ever had, and in one of the most beautiful settings I have ever been in. We are already planning our next trip in 2 years to Sicily. Our family just returned from our “trip of a lifetime” to Italy/France, including a cruise to Greece. We left for Italy a few weeks ago mainly to visit our daughter, who is studying in Florence, but to enjoy a family vacation as well. Simply Spectacular!! If you're looking to book a tour to Italy, look no further. You must seriously consider booking with Italy Travel Specialist. After years of dreaming to go to Italy, on May 26, 2017 my family and I finally got the chance. Marco came highly recommended and it was the best thing we ever did .Knowing nothing about travelling in Italy, I trusted Marco completely, and did he deliver!! We booked the Highlights of Italy tour. It covered the most places we wanted to see. Every driver, and tour guide was so professional, knowledgeable, punctual, friendly and spoke English. Guido, our guide in Venice spoke with such passion and love for his hometown. Mike, our guide in Florence had many interesting stories of Michelangelo throughout his life. In Pompeii, Carmine was not only born in New Pompeii, but was also an archaeologist. His stories were fascinating and endless. Salvatore was our most funniest guide. He drove us everywhere on the Amalfi Coast. In Rome, we had Fredarika for 2 days. She explained Rome's history with pictures that helped us understand and appreciate what she saying. Marco and his team did an amazing job organizing transportation throughout Tuscany for our team building group of 20. Communication prior to booking was great and we didn’t have any issues setting everything in stone: times of the pick ups and drop offs, stops etc. Our driver was AMAZING! Not only that he took us safely from one place to another, but he also gave us some insights on the history and customs of the area. Every day he was on time and he was very patient with our group that at times took a bit longer to get ready. The sprinter bus we had was comfortable and clean. Exactly what we needed for our group. If you are in need of transportation for small or larger groups while in Italy I could not recommend Italy Travel Specialist highly enough. They will take care of you and make this not fun part of your vacation (such as transportation planning) run smoothly and without hick ups. Oh and I didn’t mention this. A person from our group forgot her passport at the hotel in Tuscany. By the time we realized it she was already in Rome. Marco personally arranged a driver to drop of her passport to a hotel she was staying the next day. Saving us time and money for currier service. Grazie mile Marco & Co! We had a fantastic experience with Italy Travel Specialists. Marco helped us with many recommendations in the Florence area and we used his team of drivers for all of our inland transfers and day trips. The drivers were prompt, helpful, friendly and spoke wonderful English. I would especially recommend Blendi, who drove us on our two day trips from Florence. He went over and above to provide information on our destinations, taking photos, making stops, and, when a member of our group was complaining of an eye issue, even took her to a pharmacy and a medical clinic and helped to translate. Italy Travel Specialists also arranged a wonderful lunch for us at a Chianti winery - a little off the beaten path but well worth the trip for a farm-fresh lunch and amazing wine and balsamic tasting. They also found the perfect restaurant for us in Porto Venere in the off season when we decided we wanted to see the coast before returning to Milan for our return trip home. To top it off, the prices quoted by this group were extremely reasonable - I compared a few different agencies. I would highly recommend Italy Travel Specialists to anyone planning a trip to Italy!

First of all, we want to thank Marco, Giovanna, and the entire team for helping plan one of the most memorable family trips of a lifetime. We had the most amazing time. We travelled the Southern Coast of Italy from Rome down to the Amalfi Coast and into Sicily. It was very apparent the tremendous amount of care that was taken in every detail of the trip. This is the first time I have ever written a review of a business or service, but my experience with Italy Travel was so superior, it had to be done. We recently returned home from our family trip to northern Italy. The entire itinerary was planned and executed by Marco Campanga and his team at Italy Travel Specialist. Marco arranged all transportation, sight seeing, guided tours, etc. He arranged for a private boat tour on lake Como, a visit to a Murano glass factory, private guides in Venice, Milan and Verona, and pointed us to the most fantastic restaurants and culinary specialties. Just returned from a 10-day trip in Florence and Tuscany with the help of Marco and team. I will never go to Italy again without calling Marco! We cannot say enough about how great our first trip to italy was under the guidance of Italy Travel Specialist. Planning our Honey Moon and dream trip was super easy thanks to Marco's knowledge and guidance. VENICE, FLORENCE, AMALFI, CAPRI, Pompei and ROME!!!! We had 10 great days Italy , Rome , The Vatican, Sorrento , Capri , Amalfi coast , Pompeii,Positano, Taormina , Mount etna ,a wine tour , a family visit ,and more . What a great time . Marco and his team gave us the trip of a lifetime . Totally organized , awesome , friendly , funny , informative , safe , on -time . I would recommend Italy Travel specialist without hesitation . My daughter said it was the best vacation of her life!! We loved everything about our tours and excursions! During the planning stages, he spent a tremendous amount of time helping us plan which towns to visit and which excursions to do. Marco told me to relax, it would be the best vacation ever and he was correct. His suggestions were spot on!! The vans were beautiful (AC worked great on 100 degrees plus days), the tour guides were knowledgeable and personable. What an amazing experience!

Back in May my wife and I visited Italy for the first time and we used Marco and Italy Travel Specialist. What a wonderful experience! We had Italy Travel Specialist plan a 12 day trip to Italy including Venice, Florence, driving around Tuscany, and ending up in Rome. Every transfer pick up was on time and had helpful drivers. While we were actually in Italy, Marco stayed in touch clarifying things and made our trip wonderful. Marco did an amazing job planning all of our excursions through out Italy.
