This school was horrible to me , teachers yelled at me even if I was paying attention , they teased me harshly , kids bullied me and I told the teachers and they never did anything about it they just ignored me . I can still remember from 2nd grade that the teacher only liked the smart kids . The teacher would get mad at us because we wouldn't get good grades but it was because she didn't even want to take time to explain us a lesson if we asked her . One time my teacher from kinder ripped my paper infront of me just because I was writing my sentences too late . If you're planning to take your kids to this school please don't its in really bad conditions I remember how the bathrooms would have gross words written all over and cockroaches in the floor . Please don't take your kids to this school .

The staff at Mitchell does everything possible to provide excellent education and support to all our students. Very sad that you feel like that about the staff and school. Unfortunately we are there because our building as you know got flooded. We believe there are many behavior problems but as a school we try to address them as best as possible!! Know we do our best to provide the best to our students!! I am now the Pto president and ENCOURAGE all our parents with concerns like yours to become more involved to better assist our children and school. My daughter has been going to Mitchell for 3 years....they have really done a lot with the school outside and inside my daughter loves going to school there. I love how they encourage the kids to come to school everyday and reward them with certificates and meal coupons for no missed days. Also I like how the teachers open the doors and bring the kids to there cars in the evenings and the different programs they have after school. You can tell they really care about the students and I love that!

Mitchell Elementary is a good school and the staff goes beyond my expectations! The Pricipal Mrs.Castillo cares for her students and is upgrading the school so much. She is very nice and respectful person! I honestly can say, They met my expectations! If I could give less stars I would! My kids get bullied all the Time and the school did nothing my child has to get 4 stiches because of the teachers neglect and the teacher only got a write up, and all they're concerned about is attendance! Miss 4 days the entire year and the attendance office harasses you and they take You to court! My children are only here for a short time and I can't wait to get them away from here!!!!

Horrible. This school is the worse. My kid has trouble learning so this is what her teacher did instead of giving her 5th grade work.. my kid came home with kindergarten work sheets and confessed that's all she does all day. I took her out and now she's homeschooled and she has advanced a lot and she might be ready for next school year at private school since she was way behind.

Great school. Great staff. I have not yet seen a bad teacher or staff member. My son has learned so much and is doing great. All the teachers treat every single kid really well. They're all very patient. I would definitely recommend this school to everyone. The only complaints I've received from my son was about a sub teacher but once I talked to her things seemed to change.

I went to that school as a kid in the early nintees. So many memories. I remember mrs. Pena. Can't remember the principals name. Hello to my former classmates jacob, gabriel, monica, edna, salina, heriberto, salino, fredrick, daniel, noah.

Excellent teachers, staff and administrators. I have witnessed that STUDENTS are the top priority on this campus. Great place for teaching and learning.

This school is so disorganized. I could only imagine how they teach these kids!!
