Jamie arrived at my late Fathers' property, standing at the door with a look of disgust on his face. I turned and introduced myself and appologised for the mess, as I was cleaning and removing carpets and furniture, there was some dust from previous wood smoke and carpet removal, to which I apologised and offered Jamie a mask and gloves. Inintially he bluntly refused, and stated "I wont be touching anything"... I offered him a mask again, he took one then said abruptly "it broke"... I apologised again and gave him another. Jamie looked very un impressed as I proceeded to show him light sockets and switches, to ask his advice regarding replacement and possible cost. Jamie ignored me then asked where the fuse box was. He rudely said "got a screwdriver?", to which I handed him, and asked him what his thoughts were as he opened the back of the box-he stated that it needed rewiring, and I enquired "the whole house?"... he then began to walk down the stairs and across the lawn, I leaned over the balcony quite confused at his behaviour and asked if he could at least give me an idea of cost- to which he replied "that balcony is not safe either...probably $15,000 and Im not interested, Im not sending anyone up here, the place stinks its a health hazard". Just for the record, my late Father was very ill, suffering from emphysema, pneumonia, shadowing in his lungs indicating cancer, and was found collapsed on his floor by neighbours, he had trouble looking after himself and his house, but suffered as was too embarrassed to ask for help-therefore the clean up job I have been left with, although un pleasant is typical of this situation. I was disgusted at Jamies' attitude on his arrival and feel a bit more professionalism was required. I have told others of my experience today, and all are in agreeance that his poor attitude needs improving. I would not reccomend this service and have since found a very pleasant electrician, who is not at all bothered by the state of my Fathers' house and seems to be compassionate and understanding. Poor customer service Jamie.

we had the pleasure of engaging JB electrical ,(Jamie,Ash,&crew),in november last year,for our upstair bedroom,office&bathroom additions,which ended up being double the amount of work for these guys,due to severing the power,from ground floor,(existing)to allow the removal of roof,then adding the new floor&upstairs structure,(all double brick construction),new ceilings ,lights,power points,down stairs,then,basically,by xmas,complete new fit out,upstairs! nothing a problem,being double brick,these guys were needed(now!)at different stages,to access cavities,etc,& valuable advice togo with the excellent service, we have since had the guys back for heat pump installation,which ,being advised by them,was the best thing,well done,Jamis,Ash&crew,Highly Recommended!

Wonderful service thanks Jamie. I needed to change my cooktop urgently from gas to electric. I'm currently interstate and didn't know how I was going to do this remotely. Jamie had previously done a wonderful job for me changing all my lights and dimmers to LED after I'd had issues with some old wiring in my home burning so I called him to ask if he could assist me. He measured the cut out so I knew what size cooktop to purchase, collected the appliance from the supplier, arranged for his gas fitter to close off the gas pipes and did his electrical installation for my new appliance all in the same day .... I'm amazed and so grateful, thank you Jamie

I have been a client of Jamie and his team for two renovations in the past 3 yrs. They are skilled, efficient, and polite. I rang Jamie once in an electrical emergency and he was, unknown to me, in hospital recovering from surgery he insisted that he could talk me through the problem and he did. Ash recently helped removalists out with a couch stuck in a doorway. Great to find tradies who work to such a professional standard and go the extra mile to help from the smallest job to a total rewire. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend JB. Ash works extremely hard and is a very approachable and friendly sparky. He makes sure Jamie’s clients get good quality service and value for money. He uses his expertise to advise and helped us to make an informed decision regarding our power needs. Jamie went out of his way to help us in an emergency when our cable PI alarmed and TasNetworks found that we had no earth hooked up to the kitchen. We’ve used JB several times and more than happy every time.

I have had JB electrical to my home, on numerous times, as I have been upgrading my lighting systems. They are always on time, and very professional. The lastest job, was I had old halogen down lights, replaced with LED down. The have really modernized the home, and look fantastic. Highly recommend Jamie and his team. Jamie and Ash were fantastic electricians, and completed a wide array of electrical works, from installing chandeliers and wall lamps, through replacing light switches, heaters and power points. Contacted Jamie one evening in regards to an issue with my modem/internet connection. The issue was looked at and fixed the following afternoon. Ash was very helpful explaining the problem and what was required to fix it. If only I could give them more than 5 stars. Absolutely no hesitation in contacting them again for any future issues.

Jamie and Ash rewired our bathroom which went through a major renovation, they were very professional, excellent communication, advising when they would turn up and they did on time every time.
