I had the incredible opportunity and fortunate luck of having Dr. John Tran as my Primary Care Physician at UCLA Health. I'm forever indebited to Dr Tran for each of the following: 1) taking such great care of of me, 2) always treating me with the tremendous respect and like a friend, 3) spending as much time with me in the room as i wanted and needed during my monthly visits, 4) making me feel my health and well being was of great important to him, 5) figuring out & effectively treating a few difficult to diagnose serious illneses i had developed where many other doctors i had seen didnt believe my symptoms or just gave up in trying to diagnose me after awhile, 6) managing my chronic medical condition requiring a lot of time, attention and follow-up, 7) helping me lose 50lbs over my last 6 months as his patient. 8) surprising me a few times by messaging me and calling me out of the blue just to check in and see how I was doing!! I'm very sad Dr Tran is moving to start his practice in San Jose because I probably will never have another doctor as special as him. However, I know this for sure. The San Jose community is so very, very lucky to have just gained a phenomenal doctor with a big heart, warm disposition, contagious positive mindset and great personality to take very good care of them (children, adults and seniors). Dr. Tran is a great, understanding, patient, and helpful doctor. I came in several times trying to figure out neck and back pain, and appreciated that he took my pain seriously (which, as I unfortunately found out the hard way, is not something you can take for granted!). Dr. Tran had helped me to stabilize my high blood pressure. Last year, due to my bad Covid living style, my blood pressure had gone through the roof. Dr. Tran made an iterative diagnosis with a series of life-saving medications to correct my blood pressure. I am forever grateful for that. I am sad to see him moving to Northern California. Since I am in IT, if I ever moved to Silicon Valley, Dr. Tran would be my top choice doctor again

My appointment with Dr. Tran exceeded all expectations. He patiently answered my questions with a smile and was very thorough. I could tell he genuinely cared about my well-being. Dr. Tran has been my doctor for a few years and during this time he has helped me immeasurably. At one time and with incredible knee pain he diagnosed me with osteoarthritis. He tried injections first but my disease was advanced and needing surgery. Four months after the surgery I am walking normally. Dr. Tran is by far one of the best primary care physicians I have had in my life. His care for both my husband and me went above and beyond. His knowledge, bedside manner, kindness, and demeanor were all attributes that one would want in a great PCP. We were extremely sad to lose him in LA but only hope for the best with opening his private practice up north. Book your appointments ASAP and spread the word!

JT Family Care definitely lives up to their reviews. I cannot praise the staff at this clinic enough. From the receptionists to the MAs to Dr Tran himself, they were all kind and patient. Despite recently opening earlier this year, the office and Dr Tran work together efficiently and seem like they have years of experience. Dr Tran has been very helpful and understanding regarding my health since day one. Dr Tran is a young Doctor the type of Doctor with outstanding work ethics.
