I recently visited Jack in the Box and had a mixed experience. While I was excited about trying their hamburgers, I was disappointed to receive a hamburger order that had a sausage patty instead. This was quite disappointing as it didn't meet my expectations. Additionally, the tacos I ordered were undercooked, which further added to my disappointment. However, I must commend the manager for their excellent customer service. When I brought the issues to their attention, they were understanding and offered to remake my order. Although I declined the offer to save the food from going to waste, I appreciate the manager's willingness to resolve the situation. Overall, my visit to Jack in the Box was a bit of a letdown due to the incorrect hamburger patty and undercooked tacos. Nevertheless, the manager's pleasant demeanor and willingness to make things right left a positive impression. I hope that they take note of the issues with the food preparation to ensure a better experience for future customers.

My husband & I went to the jack in the box location at store number 6209, the address location is 8950 US 31 S, Indianapolis, IN 46227. We waited about 10 minutes to be helped by someone. We ordered 4 tacos & 2 chicken wraps & dined in. When we got our food, the tacos were bathed in oil & the meat was not cooked well, the chicken wrap was so disgusting. We completely lost our apetite. If my husband & I would have eaten that, we would have gotten food poisoning. The food was so disgusting. We asked to talk to the manager & she was very rude to us & gave us an attitude. We told her about the food she served us. We asked for a refund & she could not give us a refund. She said we had to come back the next day to get it, which did not make any sense to us. I live 40 minutes from this location. We just wanted a refund for this terrible & undercooked food. We are dissapointed with the service. I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND!!! Give me back my money!!

I am giving it two stars because of the food. This fast food place for cleanliness I give it a zero . If I would of noticed the tables before I ordered the food. I would have not ordered anything. It makes me think twice about eating that food . All the tables were dirty. I could not believe it. Not even one clean. That unacceptable. It's a good thing I keep wipes in my car. I went to my car and wiped the table down smfh. It does not end their. I had use the bathroom. I thinking it twice but, I really had to go. I was praying that they had seat protectors which they did. I put like three of them. The bathroom was worse. The floor was sticky, toilet paper on the floor, it was wet around the toilet, there was even a piece of orange peel on the floor. Thank goodness I was almost done. I wanted to run out of there. This is a place I would never ever ever recommend to anyone.

Went there and spent almost $60 after my son's baseball practice and my 8 year olds sandwich was not in the bag. I go in to tell the manager and he doesn't believe me and wants to see the food. I showed him the bags and proved to him no sandwich and tried to tell me the red box has his plain burger meal. I open it up and it is one of the other 2 sandwich. I just wanted my son's plain burger meal. He said I'll refund your money, takes my card and walks away. Then he came back and took our bags and gave the card back. We stood there in aww because I had 2 children in car that still have no food and we have to drive and find a place open after 10. Why couldn't they just make the sandwich. Now I didn't get to even eat my teriyaki bowl I was looking forward to. I cannot believe how that manager did my family. I will be calling corporate tomorrow.

Can't rate the food since I left without ordering, but everything else is actually negative stars. Went in to order. Smelled like sewage. Was told "I'll be with you in a moment" then proceed to do everything but take my order, so i left after what felt like about 5min. Seemed well staffed, so that can't be the issue. I won't be back. Makes sense now why all the other Joke in a Box locations have closed. Ended up going to BK across the street since driving anywhere in this area is a task, and their dining area doesn't smell like a dirty bathroom. Also I was able to walk in and place my order. No waiting! Makes since now also why this location wasn't busy when everyone around them is. Might as well just close this one as well if you can’t do better.

Pros-Very nice drive thru worker. She was polite. Big selections of food choices Cons- over 20 min wait to get order Forgot to give straw for the drink and taco sauce was hot asked for mild No salads prepared Ordered regular tacos. Meat didn't even look like hamburger. More like brown mush with no flavor Took 2 bites then thru them away. Also got teriyaki chicken bowl. It was just ok. Thought there would be more Vegetables like water chestnuts.. but basically chicken broccoli and white rice. Shame because I really wanted a new place to start getting food from. Salad pictures looked really good but didn't get a chance to try one. Lady said they hadn't prepped any.

I put a star because it's what lets me put because if I wouldn't put 0, the taco I ordered had nothing inside and it was bathed in oil disgusting, it could have hurt my stomach, I immediately returned the tacos to the lady who was attending at the window and didn't want to return the money, THEY STAYED WITH MY SILVER and I still keep the ballot !! Supposedly they were going to call me and they never called me for the return, DON'T THEY REALIZE THAT THEY CAN'T HAVE A LOCAL? PEOPLE CAN'T BE EATING WHAT YOU CALL FOOD!! I RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE GOES TO EAT THERE !!! AND I'M STILL WAITING FOR MY MONEY BACK!!!

We are here tonight. We stopped in right before midnight. We had a group of 12 people. The dining room was closed, so we drove thru. Where we live, there isn't any Jack in the Boxes and there was people in our car that just had to stop. We ordered for 12 ppl in the drive thru. They were the nicest people, food was fresh and tasted outstanding! This place was 10/10 I highly recommend stopping if you are in the area! Thanks staff! We appreciate you guys so much! The lady at the window was so sweet! Hats off to the staff tonight! You guys rocked it!

Our first time back to Jacks in several years. It was terrible. It was around 1 pm we ordered 2 burgers and fries. They brought out a sack and checked it and gave it to me, I took it back to my table and began unsacking it and realized it wasn’t my order. I took it back and another customer was waiting for it. When we finally got ours the fries were cold, we took them back, then we realized the burgers were also not hot. We just ate them and won’t go back. Poor service. Overpriced and should have eaten at S & S or Culver’s.

The food was actually made fresh to order so that was nice for a change. But the customer service is hit and miss. Rarely are the employee pleasant but when they are, I am so thankful and make sure they know that. But majority of the time, the employees are rude by cutting me off, mean, negative tone, don't say anything and just hands me the bag (I sit there wondering if I have my whole order then they look at me as if I need to go away). That's why I just go to chikfila. They always have amazing customer service.

Took the kids because they'd never been. They liked it. So did I. Food was hot and fresh. Fries were awesome. Chicken Ranch Club sandwich was decent. I liked the sweetness of the bun. My son got the Bacon Cheeseburger. He said it needed more seasoning or something. Hamburger patty didn't have much flavor. Oreo shake is great. My daughter got the Chocolate cake and said it was good. I'd go back to try the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. It looked really good. So did the breakfast meal with sausage links, fried potatoes and scrambled eggs.

I have had poor experiences here in the evening but never enough to warrant a review, so I rationalized that it was a problem after 5PM and decided to give it a shot during the day: NOPE. I’ve left requests for contact regarding other Jack in the Box stores and never been contacted. I don’t care how good the tacos are, I have always had an issue when going to any Indy-area location. THIS IS LITERALLY A BREAD SANDWICH, now come on!

I love their curly fries. Not to long ago I found out they have egg rolls (my FAV) so if I'm driving I get the 3 piece egg rolls. I go in to eat i get the bacon cheese burger(YUMMMM). The serving crew have always been nice.

Just went through about an hour ago and got a chicken sandwich in a meal and it had a green hard as plastic egg on it and no chicken! Disgusting. 3 members standing there watching food be made or rather pulled out of garbage and let me pay for that. I’d rather they close the restaurant than to risk poisoning customers and taking peoples hard earned money.

I love Jack in Box especially because I’m from California. But I never sat in a drive through line for 40 minutes with no explanation. You need to close your drive through. Employees were playing on the audio of the drive through changing their voice laughing! This is a disservice to paying customers time! As a former GM, I would be embarrassed. I will not rerun and take my money elsewhere.

Go to Culver's better burger. Real cooking not microwave. I ordered food and had it in about a minute and it was so gross. THEY DONT COOK TO ORDER. It's ok Jack we want real cook to order food and you are no longer that place. Try Culver's and no I don't work for them but the food does not make you gag. Sorry Jack it's over.

Edited: ok so long wait in drive thru is consistent every single time. Be prepared to wait 10-15+ minutes in drive thru. I wrote 2 emails, this review and some other junk while waiting in line. That said... tasty cheap yum! Got a snack pack of mini tacos for all of 3 bucks. Can't beat that. Just wish the tacos were done more cause most of them were so not crunchy.

I ordered a Spicy Chicken Sandwich and it was warm with the right amount of spice. It had tomatoes, lettuce and mayo on it. It was the best spicy chicken sandwich that I've had in a very long time! Speedy service, too.

I have to start with their chicken... Holy moly their chicken strips and sandwiches are AMAZING!! We live near Chicago so we don't currently have a Jack-In-The-Box by us but we travel to Indy every month, so that's our first stop once we get there... Must try Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich... Keep up the great work Jack employees!!!

Food wasn't bad but it's a bit pricey. Employees were making jokes about eating edibles while we was sitting there. Kinda unprofessional really.

First time trying this place. I know, I know. What rock have I been living under. Great place! I got the late night box nacho chicken sandwich. It was THE BOMB. Came with 2 tacos and "halfsies" fries, regular and curly fries. Delicious. The

OK when I want mediocre I usually choose McDonald's but today Jack in a box raised mediocrity to a new level first off I asked for lettuce tomatoes and onions to be added to my ultimate bacon cheese burger and all I got was lettuce tomatoes

If I could rate this location any lower I would. I never ate at this place before so I thought I would try it out. After waiting for about 5 min with not one employee offering to help I spoke up like hello. Still no reaction so a lot louder

Store was dirty, soda machine was disgusting, pump sauces separated instantly. When we told the manager, he didn't make an effort to fix anything, only said we could call the # on the bottom of our receipt if we weren't happy.

Always on point with custom orders and food. Very good for fast food. Worth going a little out of the way!!!! Burgers are amazing and teriyaki chicken bowl is totally great!!!!
